Donnigton is a must visit when in kothagiri. It sits on an amazing property with a stunning view of tea plantation. The food is amaze and it's very reasonably priced

The food served here is mouth watering especially the pan-Asian ones. We had ordered Sizzler’s, which tasted very good. The wait time for food to come to your table after ordering takes more time, which can be improved unless you are not in for a quick bite.

Most definitely overrated for food , ambience or anything else. All other eateries in town lack parking which is perhaps the only aspect where this place scores. It's competitor nearer Kattabettu serves far better Italian crusine.

Food pricing and billing and portioning - NO GST bill , No fixed pricing ( staff decide on price ) , horrible and inconsistent Portioning. All of the above is common for any new restaurant and there is Some thing I can never get over , my table booking was cancelled because the owners guest suddenly arrived and their priority was to serve them , hence my booking was cancelled ( Reply given by the restaurant head ) . This happened at 8.00 pm And I had to rush my Guest to Coonor . I stay 300 meters from this Restaurant. Despite their disappointing service I still try to see if they have improved , but every time I visit the place they come up with new way to disappoint . If your are looking for a pleasant evening with friends and family please don’t choose this place . HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED

A fantastic place, but misleading name! The Donnigton Bakehouse is by far the best restaurant I have been to in Kotagiri, but, it is not actually a bakehouse at all! They are currently undergoing some renovations and have moved to a pan-asian menu. So dont expect to get cakes and bread here haha The name aside, we absolutely ADORED this restaurant. We ordered dim-sums, which were really good and value for money. We got a tom-kha soup which was a little bit spicy, but was tasty nonetheless. The cauliflower munchoorian was also very well made, the chefs really know their food here. Service was a bit slow but we didn't mind. Overall i would suggest going here, but they really need to change the name.

Food was very good. Neat and tidy. Ambience is good. Would have given 5 star if not for wait time. Better pre-order.

Very poor customer service. Happened to visit last night. The waiter was very arrogant and refused to serve food. When asked to serve food, he literally threw the plate and replied that he cannot and challenged us to complaint any one. He was drunk .

Beautiful property and seating space. Food is also amazing. Polite service and had a great time taking pictures around here.

Food taste is good. Only Chinese and pizza. No indian foods including chapathi/rotis. Everything is prepared after the order, so expect waiting time of 30-40 minutes.

Amazing food, good portion sizes and great quality as well. We thoroughly enjoyed every dish we ordered. A must visit when in Kotagiri and you want to have the best Chinese or Asian food!

A very calm and peaceful place in kotagiri for dinner. Food menu is limited and should include more dishes. Price is on the higher side but the quality & quantity served is quite good.

One of the starters I had yesterday contained, Monosodium Glutamate (AJI NO MOTTO ), soon after having the Asian starter ,my stomach was full & the same time the taste of the food was amazing , I could hardly complete main course. I don't know if they add it purposely or one of their masalas have it.

Great food, period!! Getting Chicken clear soup right says a lot about the chef & kitchen. These guys nailed it. Rest of the stuff was awesome too! Love the ambience, the backdrop of the Pear Orchard, the multiple lawns, the tree-lined drive way, the white bare brick interiors & Christmas decor / lighting make this place look very European. Be prepared to wait as good food made to order will take time. You can find multiple fast food joints in Kotagiri if you are in a rush.

Beautiful place, decent food ( they have only Chinese and pizza). Good location and close to the town.

Serene ambience for a hot soup & noodle! Didn't like the base sauce for the Thai chicken fried rice & Dragon chicken as it tasted too tangy.

Horrible waiting time. 4 stars for the relaxed atmosphere atop a hill overlooking the town. Need 2 hours of patience to lay your hands on the food which is BTW okayish.

I've loved your stuff in the past. But consistency is key. And I'm sorry to say that the past couple do times it's been quite inconsistent. This time around all i can taste is salt and sugar - overpowering everything else. Very disappointed. Considering the fact that I've suggested your place to quite a few. Now I'll have to add a disclaimer. Do look into it. Honest feedback.

Great place to be away from the crowded buzz. Good food, dining space needs to catch up the ambience and food.

Nestled right in the middle of Kotagiri, once your here, you don't even realise your bang centre of the town. The asian cuisine here is the best! As always flavour trumps technique and presentation. Good food that you will go back for!!! The place has an interesting mix of food and ambiance. For plant lovers they have a great nursery filled with variety of succulents and other plants alike. Some great ceramic pots too! For bird lovers, some really good chances of getting some great pictures of avian species found in the Nilgiris. Make sure you take your large lens!

One of the nice place in kothagiri. Great ambiance and friendly staffs. Everything is nice, tasty and bit pricey. If you are visiting there for the first time. As if you are two people then order the food single, cause a single plate can accommodate two.
