Beautiful church on the banks of the river. The church is huge and interiors look great. The scenery through the roads to reach here is amazing. It's definitely god's own country vibe. The main door of the church will be closed but the side door is open and you can spend some time inside. Sit for some time and you can feel the peace of this place. Could just see two wheelers parking available, very limited for four wheelers parking. Visited on a Saturday so it was calm, Sunday would be crowded as regular prayers will be held.

Beautiful church β›ͺ️ Never planned to visit. This church is close to Allepey. If you are visiting backwaters in Allepey, do visit here if you are a fan of Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya (VTV tamizh movie), beautiful church. Got goosebumps when I went in person and it was so peaceful and calm inside the church. Main door will be closed, but use the side door to enter into the church, sit down for few minutes and enjoy the calmness πŸ˜‡. #IndiaTrip #Kerala #VTV

Especially yem Maya chesave movie lovers can't leave Kerala without visiting this church. As it became famous in the movie. On the other bank of the water here is a home and there the movie goes on. Lovely place and can have a ride in small boat there. Pleasant view and atmosphere.

I went there along with 5 of my friends. The place is so calm. It is infamously known as VTV church. VTV is a tamil movie. We were misguided by Google maps. So please inquire local persons for the correct church

It stays in the heart of kuttanad. The view of this place and church gives us a nostalgic Alappuzha feel. Vinay thandi varuvaya was shooted in this place. Its a quite and peaceful place. All tourist must visit this place if they want to experience how old Alappuzha looks like.

Loved going to this church. The way to the church is scenic and divine. Once I took a boat to go there and it was such a good experience. Entire Alappuzha is really beautiful and the church adds into it. Do visit the church if you are in Aleppey. And roaming the surrounding places is good too.

The astounding St. Mary’s church with Portugese style construction, is located in Pulinkunn, near the banks of Aleppey backwaters. Pulincunnu is situated midway between Alleppey and Changanacherry, 2 km inward from the gorgeous AC Road. The village can be accessed via a road bridge or by a ferry that transports vehicles and people between the village and the shore connecting to the AC Road. There is also a waterway ferry service run by the KSWTDC which has a jetty near the village square. The village is around 20 km from Alleppey and 15 km from Changanacherry.
