I followed Google's ratings and headed to this place, but I was a little skeptical and got a bit of a commercial 'tourist trap' vibe when I reached there. Boy, was I wrong.. The place had excellent food and great service.. They also gave us dessert on the house which was delicious. Strongly recommended!

We are coming from peloponnese so we are Greeks and I must say the food was tasteless too much garlic and plus the oven patatoes were not proper oven patatoes looked like boiled . Disgusting :/

The food is great and the service is beyond exceptional. There are a few very good restaurants in Zakynthos but Avanti always seemed to go the extra mile when it comes to customer satisfaction. I'd highly highly recommend this family owned business!

We loved this place very much! Mussels and prawns Saganaki are delicious, also loved eggplant starter. Moreover, we appreciated the warm welcome and attentive, yet not intrusive service. Absolutely a place to visit :)

I travel to Zakynthos from time to time and Avanti is the best place I visited so far, so I come back there as often as possible! Extremely friendly staff, great service, delicious food, warm atmosphere... The portions are big and the prices are average. The owners offer complimentary dessert/drink/fruits at the end. I came back home two weeks ago and I already miss all the friendly people I met at Avanti. This is the greatest example of real Greek hospitality and I recommend this amazing place to everyone!!!!!!

Best restaurant in Zakynthos! The staff is very friendly, portions are huge and the food is very good. We had most of our meals here. I recommend the grilled squid and for dessert the Frigania.

The service was amazing and the food was delicious. We tried lots of different dishes during the week of our stay and it was all great. This place is definitely worth a try!

Easily the best place in Zakyntos, the staff are very friendly, the food is delicious and served beautifully the music is good, and at the end they offer you a drink/fruit salad/frigania on the house. I strongly recommend checking out this place at least once!

We had stopped outside the restaurant previously and considered the mixed seafood plate - when we went back a few days later the host recognised us and remembered what we'd wanted! The platter for 2 was delicious and reasonably priced - the cocktails we got were also delicious.

Just got back from Zante and had a meal here. Great food and atmosphere only let down for me was I ordered a T bone steak with peppercorn sauce. They tipped the peppercorn sauce all over which i prefer a little side dish of sauce so i can add when. I like. My meal cost 67 euros. Garlic bread Ceasar salad 2 T bone main courses 1 mythos beer 1 kopperberg cider. Overall worth a visit
