I've never had so much fun in my life! Two days full of adrenaline, happiness, wildness and joy! Island of Adventure has it all! I recommend a Park-to-Park ticket and take advantage of it during the week. This resort will enjoy both child and adult! Thank you for an exceptional experience!

If you're trying to choose Disney vs. Universal, definitely go Universal!! We decided to purchase the express pass which made everything so much better! We were able to ride every single ride and still had time to do some shopping, eating, watch some shows, and take some pictures around the park! The place definitely gets crowded so I would recommend getting there as early as possible. Also love that it's a parking garage and not open parking like at Disney! This park definitely caters to older kids as they have more rollercoasters. So if you have tiny, tiny ones, you probably want to go the Disney route. But in my Opinion, Universal has made it to where everything runs a lot smoother, even with the big crowds! One of the biggest things that is a plus for me, there are a lot more trees and shaded areas at universal, especially when standing line. And with this summer heat, that makes a huge difference!! Would definitely come here all the time if I lived in Florida!

Everything was amazing besides the lockers (I’ll explain at the end). We spend most of our time in the Harry Potter areas and it was so amazing. Details were awesome and so much fun! The rides were a blast and had a good story. We did one day but wish we did 2 days because there is so much. Now the lockers are annoying. You have to leave your bag and phone in a locker before you get in line for lots of the rides making the line so much worse. You don’t have access to your phone or water so the line just feels miserable. I think this is something they need to figure out as it was the worst part by far!

The Harry Potter parts are EPIC!!! So much fun. I'm not even a huge fan of the books or movies (but I DO like them). The Butterbeer was EXCELLENT!!! The atmosphere is amazing. The entire park is great. We went to Universal Studios Orlando, Islands of Adventure, & Volcano Bay. They are ALL FANTASTIC. I enjoyed Universal even more than Disney World!!! ♡♡♡ If you plan on going more than a couple days, I recommend buying the Annual Pass (OR booking in one of their hotels - LOTS of perks!!!).

This park was absolutely awesome. The rides were amazing and very interactive. We were able to get on everything we wanted to get on and the creativity in this park is as good as Disney. The food was great and me and my daughter enjoyed the shows as well. I will say that Harry Potter is quite busy, but amazing. The food options were great! You were able to find anything from fried food all the way to fruit cups here, and this is not common at theme parks. The staff overall was great and accommodating. I highly recommend this theme park to anyone visiting the Orlando area, I have not seen much like it and you will absolutely love these rides. If your a hardcore comic nerd-this is the place to be, absolutely awesome.

Great experience! I actually found that i liked it better than Universal Studios. Islands of adventure have more extreme rides and adult rides which i found way more fun. Also, i really recommend to buy the express pass, it might cost twice to three time the ticket. BUT I was able to do all the rides I wanted and all the most popular ones (i did like 7-8 rides) from 10:00AM to 3:30PM. That would be impossible without the express pass..

We loved this park. Our wait times were 5-10 minutes less than listed when we entered the rides which we appreciate. We loved being able to set alerts to know when we could ride things. The best time to ride the Harry Potter Rides is at the end of the day when the lines are smaller. We bought the 2 park passes to be able to ride the train to the other Harry Potter Bank Ride in the other park. It took 45 minutes to get on the train and 3 1/2 hours (wait time listed was 120 minutes) at Universal Studios in line to ride the Bank Ride. We ended up walking all the way back to Islands of Adventure to avoid the 100 minute wait time for the return train. The 2 park 1 Day pass was not worth it.

Universal island of adventure is so adventurous. If you like crazy coasters along with many other ride this is the best place. We love the King Kong ride, spider man meets to blue reptiles Harry Potter water ride. And meeting to avenger and comic characters adds more fun. Place is the dream to visit we all love it thanks universal.

It's a very fun tour accessibility is great for you to get to the place it's very easy accesses are well facilitated ample parking and very easy to park. The problem is the price is $27, but it's still for the whole day, it's not for an hour inside the fun is complete because there are many attractions and toys that cater for all ages, you'll have fun alone with friends and your girlfriend or with the family, this tour is really worth it, even if you take it for just one day, it's still worth the queues inside. They look great but they still ride well and it's worth the wait. I recommend in all senses.

Best trip ever!! We had a blast. The lines were long but moved very quickly. The staff members were nice and appeared to really love their jobs. The Spider man ride is a must!! We spent 3 days there and still didn't get to do everything. Yes it was costly but my children enjoyed every minute of it

Great! Will be back. So much to see and do. Times are long to ride, but express the day we were there was $262.00. That was more than the 2 days of tickets I purchased. it would cut time, but they don't have a large number of rides. Lots of places to buy things.

Today was are day four and it was much better than day one which it was raining that day. The food inside Dr sues world was Exceptionally good. The rides didn’t take long to get on until towards the end of are day which was around 3pm to 4pm. The weather turned out to be great & we just had a great time today.

Very expensive but a very special place. Myself and my daughter loved every minutes of it. A few tips for those thinking of traveling: 1. Bring your own food and snacks to the park with you. At the time of writing, a 500ml bottle of water was $5.50 2. If you know in advance you will be getting photos within the park (3 or more), consider purchasing the photo pass 3. If your budget permits, purchase Express pass tickets before you travel. I purchased 2, 5 day express pass tickets (which included entry to the park) for $760 each. You will save a lot of time accessing rides using these 4. Purchase a neck fan. You won't regret it 5. If you suffer from chafing, get yourself some cycle shorts before you go. These were a game changer 😂 I'm sure there is more but these would be my go too if I was to travel there again.

Love this place! Fast pass done right. Real rides and roller-coasters. My kids loved this park best out of Universal Studios and Disney Magic Kingdom. Disney needs to redo their fast pass. As it is right now I would say not worth the money. Universal fast pass is definitely worth the money. Would we go back? Yes we would.

We visited on a Monday of March 1st week and the crowd was less. It was an amazing experience. The rides were extremely thrilling. I would probably come back to this once again. I would rank the velocicoaster as number one ride ever. Super thrilling. The Harry Potter and forbidden journey was a visit to childhood fantasies and very realistic. Would definitely recommend visiting this park. Worth every penny.

I travel there every year sometimes 2 or three times for long periods, sometimes 3 weeks or a month stopping in universals cabana bay and Dockside inn and I'll be going throughout the summer holidays this year with my son. It's great value for your money and far cheaper than Disney. Also universal will have there new epic theme parks up and running ready for 2025, can't wait.

Wow, customer service is #1 at Universal Studios Orlando. Every interaction with staff, from shop workers to food service to ride attendants was beyond positive. Everyone made you feel so important and special. The park is so well maintained and beautiful. Rides are amazing, you can ask the staff for a breakdown if nervous. You can leave the line at anytime. The stores all had unique items to purchase based on the rides. The experience is highly enjoyable.

Exceptional experience! Explored both parks for the Harry Potter adventure. Regrettably, the Hogwarts train was undergoing maintenance, providing a compelling reason for a return trip to Florida. The Harry Potter rides were exhilarating, not for the faint-hearted—fully enjoyed them! 💯 % Will certainly revisit to indulge in the other non-Harry Potter rides. This place is so colorful- loved the colors!!

Honest review . Super busy as it’s the American school holidays . Queue at guest service to register for a disability pass were around an hour . Park it’s self it lovely but I do not think it’s as organised as Disney unfortunately. Encountered two rude staff members one in a food hall she couldn’t understand the drink that we were asking for (literally asked for normal coke ) she got short tempered very quickly so I’m the end I just pointed to what we wanted but her temper really effected my child with autism . The second encounter was on The Jurassic world ride . We were waiting to get out disability pass signed to get on the ride and the lady shouted three times if you have an express pass Iv told you to keep moving . We said we understand that but you have to sign our card she then shouted for a fourth time until my husband literally waved to he card at her she snatched the card off us muttered under her breath and literally threw it at us . I did tell her that she was incredibly rude and manners do not cost anything . I get that we all have bad days at work but I couldn’t have been any clearer 4 times … we last visited universal 6 years ago as we opted for Disney on out other visits and unfortunately this will be out last visit to universal . We just didn’t like the vibe at all . Rides are amazing and definitely great if you’re a thrill seeker . Harry Potter world is wonderful and very magical but for us it’s not to about the rides it’s the over all package and experience and unfortunately we just didn’t like the whole vibe at this park .

Wonderful park, attraction are more a amusement park type attraction. More roller coaster and rides than theatrical presentation. If you are planning on going to both parks, I would recommend buying a single day pass for each. Each park has enough stuff to keep you busy for a full day. If you are a Harry Potter fan and want to ride the train it is probably worth buying the multi park pass

(Translated by Google) Wonderful place, great rides and roller coasters, if you have a choice of where to go, disney world or here, don't hesitate and go to Universal Studios. And it doesn't matter which park, they are both good in their own way, and if possible, take tickets to both parks :) I also advise you to take an express pass, so you will get more pleasure without queues. Another tip, download their application and book vertical queues in advance.

On top of my last review, when we went this time, Poseidon's Fury is now open and has a show every 15 minutes. It was a great show! Lines move quickly too since it is a grouping of people at a time. The only thing I will advise, if you have young children with you (a few times as part of the show for effect) the lights in the rooms go out and I noticed a child a little scared. So if you are there with children... you may want to talk to them to prepare them first or not take them in at all, depending on the the child. If you do decide to take them in, I would definitely hold their hand. The lights don't go out for very long but it does happen. Otherwise, the show is very well put together and is very good! We loved it!

Always love coming here, had a delay due to a guest wanting to get off a ride, but that isn't the parks fault. Always recommend coming here, prefer this over the Universal side and that's changed over the years and I've been coming since opening in 1999. Highly recommend especially over Disney as well. Need to reduce the cost of parking or have it included in the ticket pricing because it's a bit ridiculous for $27 for parking, I remember coming as a kid and it was less than $10, really has gone up a lot even in the last 2-3 years.

Such a fun experience for my nephew and I! He's 10 and I wanted to take him somewhere that would fit his age and interests andcthis was it! We rode almost everything! We were there the whole day. I would not recommend trying to do 2 parks in one day, one is all you will have time for unless you buy the express passes. I was glad the bathrooms were plentiful and easy to find, the food was good, and the park easy to navigate. I CAN'T WAIT TO GO AGAIN!!

This is the more thrill-seeking park for Universal Studios. Great rides with lots of action and adventure. We went on every ride and coaster in the park and had a blast. I would encourage more than one day if you can manage it because of the number of things there are to do. It was terrific!

There is so much to do here! I can't even begin to start with one ride or section of the island that was better than another. We definitely felt this island was a bit more interactive for a family and more fun involved than at Universal Studios or Volcano Bay. Highly recommended to visit but be prepared to wait in long lines for rides. We purchased express tickets on top of the park pass and it was definitely worth it! Because of having an express pass each, we were able to experience more rides and more fun than waiting in line for hours and only be able to ride a few rides. We will be coming back!

Fantastic park, only complaint is the crazy queues even on a weekday in early Nov. This is the best Universal Park for thrill seekers. Good variety of rides and fantastic details and special effects. Park is super clean and staff is very friendly. Obsessed with the Velocicoaster!!!! Express pass expensive but worth it, or try riding the singles lines everywhere. Be prepared to walk a lot!

Love Universal Island of Adventure! Such a fun theme park, with tons of rides, restaurants and shops. Rain might impact the rides available and waiting time, but we still managed to do all the rides we planned on trying!

We had a great day. Park was at capacity by 8:30am but we had bought our tickets 2 weeks prior and so we were already counted in their numbers so we didn't have to wait on standby. I got hurt on jurassic park ride, hit my jaw on the bar at the bottom of the drop. EMS staff were very nice and made me feel comfortable talking with them and they did all in their power to help. All in all a great experience!!!!

Love love islands of adventure. Its not too crowded as you can see from my pictures. We got there around 3pm, which is a perfect time to go because all those people who came in as soon as they opened are now leaving or have left. Loads of awesome food, tons of rides. Not to mention I didn't have to wait in line to get butter beer🍺 at the Harry Potter area. Its also easy to maneuver around with a baby.

Josh (working at Hagrid’s Motorcycle Ride) was so kind and helpful! When I lost the other member of my party he helped me find her in the line and offered lots of information about the ride (we hadn’t gone on it yet- we ended up loving it!) and overall was very friendly, kind, funny, and full of information! We meant to go to Guest Services to leave a compliment but ended up not getting the chance to!

Universal Studios and Adventure Island are doing a great job of keeping the place extra clean. Most rides put Hand sanitizer in your hands before you enter the rides and at the end of each ride you can sanitize again. There is tape over the entire place to help you keep 6 feet apart. And they continuously announce face covers must be warn or you will be ask to leave the park. Great job both parks I felt save the entire time.

  • 5/5 Sarah O. 3 years ago on Google
I mostly stay in the Wizarding World area, but every ride is amazing! I always enjoy my time at Universal! Due to Covid-19, masks, temperature checks, and social distancing in lines is mandatory, but no magic is lost!! I will say, Saturdays and Sundays are quite busy and to definitely arrive early if you want to get in.

  • 3/5 Robert W. 3 years ago on Google
For limited capacity due to covid-19, this place was extremely packed. I wouldn't want to see this place at full capacity. Only a couple of rides actually enforce the 6 ft rule. The worst part in my opinion was that none of the Universal staff seemed to be on the same page. One staff member would tell us to do one thing, we would do it, then be told something different by another staff member. This was extremely frustrating after waiting in line for 2 hours. Also, don't waste your money on a Coke freestyle cup if you are wanting to get one to save time and skip lines. All of the Coke freestyle stands I went to wouldn't work, so I ended up waiting in line for over 30 minutes each time anyways. Overall, the rides were fun, but the experience was a drag. We won't ever be coming back to Universal Studios. I'm neutral on recommending it to my friends.

Best customer service ever. We were a group of 8 and we tried to get into the new ride of Harry Potter and because it's only online reservation, we had a lot of issues to make the reservations. Had so much fun there, great place for Harry Potter fans!! We were a group of kids, teens and seniors and all of us had loads of fun Pros: - Pizza is SUPER GOOD! - Fun rides - Clean restrooms - Convenient for all ages Cons: - Few employees were disrespectful or “not helpful” to say the least - Some places are closed because of the pandemic

Had an amazing time with my family, friends and the kids the park was being cleaned the whole time everybody was using sanitizer on every ride and wearing mask unless they were sitting down or standing six feet away to eat with their group. The new protocols for staying safe that were put in worked perfect better than going to the park prior to this with everyone on top of you. We had a great experience. The snacks were tasty even though they're expensive as usual $16 for a refillable cup ect... The rides were fun and everybody respectable at the park. Thank you we will see you soon!

Great day awesome rides! Only problem is if you want to ride something with virtual lines. Which is the ONLY WAY POSSIBLE (NO STANDING LINES).For some rides. You will need to figure out how to book your time before there all gone!! Park opened at 10 am and at 1030 am you could not get a ride on these rides. All the times were booked and they will not allow any other entrance. No lines no fast pass(or whatever they call it) Very disappointed that we were not made aware of this until we got to the ride at 1030..

The express pass at the Universal Studios Orlando park is definitely NOT worth the cost which is much more than the daily base ticket price. The wait was over half an hour even with express pass on rides such as Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, Hollywood RipRide Rockit Rollercoaster, Mummy Ride, Simpson’s Ride and Shrek 4D. Paying an extra $180 per ticket per day to wait that long per ride is not acceptable. Orlando informer states that Express Lines even when the park is busy should never be more than 15 minutes. This is a lie. Shame on Universal for cashing in on this scam.

Been here 5 days one our first of many trips planned with annual passes. Had what we would consider a safety issue on the Suess Trolly, but the way the park handled it was excellent. After speaking with the team lead Soto, I went to Guest Services and talked with Sam. He was very understand and listened intently. He reached out to the attractions manager Bob who came over and explained what happened and why the decisions they made were made. After speaking to Bob I had a very good understanding of their process and was better able to cope with what had happened. It is people like Sam and Bob that make our time here amazing. I can’t say thank you enough. So to Universal, please make sure you reach out to both Sam and Bob and share our appreciation!! Dedicated people like this deserve recognition!!!

Included many diverse rides and environments within the park which made you feel immersed in that type of cinematic world. Hogsmeade, Dr. Seuss, and Marvel are great examples of this! Followed COVID guidelines and was really enjoyable.

Absolutely love going here! My favorite part is Hogwarts and Hogsmeade, it is so detailed. The rides are so much fun too! Especially the virtual Rollercoaster and the Hulk. I will say that although the park is at limited capacity right now due to COVID it is still very busy, but the park is very strict with the mask rules and has an abundance of hand sanitizer.

Came twice to the hp on 441, between orlando and Kissimmee. Not south chase. The one a little farther south. Needed a 1000 lb. Bag of rock and a 1000 lb bag of sand. Needed it twice and they had me loaded both times in 10 minutes. I tried to get it at cemex and I could not even get a price for 20 minutes. All kudos to home depot. Well done.

Although the employees could have been more helpful in finding items. They did do well in friendliness of service. They are also veteran friendly. Which helps out a lot.

Waited through several pages for a key cutter. Finally just left. Also no person to assist with questions onna BBQ Grill. That should have been my clue to not try cutting a key. Poor management in my opinion, just no acknowledgement of being busy and delays etc. Plain old ignored instead.

Best theme park I've ever gone to. All the build up in the waiting line is like telling a story, preparing you for the rides. The Hulk is by far one of my favorite roller coasters and the velocicoaster is absolutely insane. Islands of adventure beats every other amusement park out there

  • 5/5 26keri 1 year ago on Google
Wonderful experience in the Park it is clean there lots of toilets and amenities and lots of places to sit. The rides clearly show waiting times so you can plan your day you can also use an app to track waiting times. Staff are very helpful, approachable and knowledgeable so if you're lost they will be able to help you out. I especially love the Harry potter world, it's between two parks but there's transport in the form of Hogwarts express. My only complaint would be that food is very expensive and not that great but food everywhere else is so good that it's not a major thing. Will definitely visit again.

We had a FANTASTIC time! We stayed the week and had the park Hopper passes. Even as adults we felt like kids again and had sooo much fun! Everything is so well themed at Universal! The amount of detail put into every attraction is just amazing!!- there was always something you didn't see previously. At the eateries, the food was good but you can't get that kind of ambiance anywhere else!

Great time with the family. All the rides were very smooth and I really liked the detail you can see when your waiting for the ride. Rides were top notch as expected. Wait times were not to bad. Food was Great and the staff was very friendly and helpful

This was our first time to this park. It was Thanksgiving week, so it was busy as I expected. I have 2 kids, 14 and 12, this park was fun for them. We enjoyed going through Dr. Seuss area and we even did some rides. We loved the Spider-Man ride. The water rides were fun, the big round tube in Popeyes area, we were entirely soaked from head to toe, so you will definitely get wet. Even with the plastic coverings it does not protect your feet, shoes, and butt from getting wet. We were fine getting wet, but I definitely got wetter than I thought. My kids favorite ride of all was the Harry Potter Motorbikes. Harry Potter area is the most packed of people compared to rest of park. At night the castle had a lightshow for Christmas, very cool, but people everywhere!!! The Grinch show was very cool even for my kids who were thinking it wasn't going to be. There were definitely a bunch of places to eat and drink everywhere. We had a great week, we hope to return again someday.

Super park! Both me and my child really liked it. Cool rides, especially the motorcycle ride. However, the queues are crazy. We came specifically out of season, on Monday. And still there were huge queues. We had unlimited fast passes, I highly recommend buying them. Otherwise we would have been waiting for an hour. The bad thing is that the fast pass does not apply to the coolest attraction and you have to wait up to 2 hours! Oh, are you crazy? Make an electronic queue! As in all normal places. Why do you think that being forced to stand in line for 2 hours is normal?? Ugliness.

Great experience with their roller coaster, definitely you should ride VelociCoaster and Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. Staff was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable, always willing to help me with any kind of question. I'm not a Harry Potter fan, but the setup or world was breathtaking!! I will definitely be back one day.

We enjoyed our time. However, it is a theme park, and the lines are ridiculous. My children only were able to ride about 5, maybe 6 rides. Each line was an hour long. I recommend 3 things. Get the express pass, go later in the day like 2pm things start to die down later in the evening, and do not got on any school breaks we went Thanksgiving break and there were 100s of thousands of people there it was insane. Other than that, it's a great theme park. We really enjoyed the Spider-Man ride.
