A little hidden gem in Gdansk, so pleased we discovered this one. Well what can I say? Everything was perfect! It's a very small venue, however this is actually a big benefit for you as the customer. It means that each table receives VIP level treatment from the moment you enter the door. Both the barman and waiter were extremely friendly, welcoming and passionate about their job and what they were serving. We had (2 of us); - Amuse-bouche (included in the experience) - Goose Liver to start - Cheese Soup to start - Roast Beef with Croquettes - Squid Steak with Risotto Drinks: New York Sour & Martini + a free glass of champagne as it was their anniversary night of the restaurant. Food is cooked to perfection with delicious flavours, beautifully presented and contains lots of lovely flavours that compliment each other from the first to last bite. A nice little touch is that as the food is presented to you, the waiter tells you everything that you're about to eat. This felt like fine dining, but with proper sized portions and none of that tense atmosphere. I was pleasantly full after the Amuse-bouche, starter and main. Next time I think I would skip the starter to try one of the desserts as these looked great as well. I can't recommend this place enough, it was one of the best dining experiences I've had to date, right up there with 'The Cork' in Wrocław (also highly recommended) I'd like to personally thank the chef for preparing such beautiful food with immense presentation and flavours, but also in keeping the portion sizes generous. And a special personal thanks to the floor staff who were fantastic, friendly and enthusiastic. Will 100% be coming back here in the future on our next visit up to Gdańsk. his place was a hidden little gem we came across by accident. We were looking for breakfast and this happen to serve some eggs we were sold. They even had a highchair for our baby which was a massive bonus. I would only say that the coffee could be better but the food most certainly was a huge surprise how good it was. We loved out breakfast so much we even booked it for dinner and they even made some baby food for our baby! The service was amazing. Our waiter was very polite and really knew his stuff! I highly recommend this place I know we will be back here again!

The food was excellent, after a week in Gdańsk with great food and wine this experience was by far the best. The food was amazing, the wine exceptional and most important of all was the great waiters that made our night. Incredibly professional and accommodating, would highly recommend! Very good service and food quality, beautifully served and pleasant to the eye and taste buds. Steak tartar was amazing, and I am very picky with this dish. Place is quite cozy but small. Overall would recommend and will visit again. So far one of my best culinary experiences in Poland.

We were so fortunate to have this place just few minutes away from our hotel. Eating in front of the Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption is an unforgettable experience. The food is sophisticated and 😋 delicious. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. The service we received was so amazing, they explained every dish, and they were talkative and funny. We will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.

Mariacka 1 is located right in the center of Gdansk. It looks quite unassuming from the outside, but as soon as you step inside the door you are welcomed by a smile from the professional waitress and feel that here they are passionate about preparing and serving incomparably good food! Everything from service to the food and drinks were top notch! Can warmly recommend this restaurant, which is also at a pleasant price level!

This place is a treasure! Everything we tried was a firework of taste 😍 We had riesling wine, calamari stake, oyster mushrooms, onion soup - everything was amazing! The service was super nice and helpful ❤️ We’ll come back for sure!

The menu is small but something for everyone including GF / V friendly dishes. The wine is great and they offer nice cocktails too. Overall, given the good food, great staff & reasonable prices - I'd recommend a visit. *TOP tip* the restaurant is small so I'd advise to make a reservation in advance.

A small very cosy restaurant. Food was incredible and beautifully presented. Service was very friendly, knowledgable and attentive. Nice wine selection. Pork belly and sea bass were both brilliant. Overall around 420zł including 3 courses and a bottle of wine and very much worth it

We thought that the squid were a bit too salty. The other dishes were tasty but not something that blow our minds away. The restaurant were cozy since it’s only room for 14 guests.

Bardzo smaczna polędwica wołowa - idealnie wysmażona na medium. Przepyszne purre porowe, no totalnie moje smaki! Pyszne czekasdełko dla gości. Do obiadu zamówiłam drinka eldelflower, który był bardzo smaczny lecz niestety nie mogę pić kwaśnych drinków z uwagi na wrażliwy żołądek, więc poprosiłam Pana kelnera o specjalnego drinka, który był spoza karty (oczywiście naliczono opłatę wg zużycia składników) i powiem SZTOS. Wszystkim polecam przetestowac gin z syropem lawendowym ♥️♥️ (reszty składników nie znam) Jedyny minus był w tym, że kolega zamówił antrykota medium, a danie było medium rare. Niemniej jednak smak mięsa bardzo dobry :) porcje ok, chociaż przy polędwicy spodziewałam się więcej za tą cenę :)

The culinary gem of Gdańsk! Really, we were blown away by the food we’ve served, everyone tasted from others plate just to be blown away once again. Everything cooked to perfection and the wine pairing was perfect. Thanks our waiter Peter for this experience. This guy, even really young, made our experience even better. He explained everything in our plates and was a joy to talk to. Don’t miss this restaurant if you love fine dining! Where is their Michelin star?!

Lacks vegetarian options and some of the dishes were overly salty. Other than that fantastic atmosphere and food quality. That cheesecake with parsley and popcorn was world class!
