Eunpyeong Hanok Village

Tourist attraction

๐Ÿ‘ A nice traditional village, although it was built recently. I think this place will be very beautiful in the spring. When I came here, this place is still under construction ... I also agree that if this place wants to attract more tourists, they need to build more. People often mention village, hanok, traditional, beautiful, Seoul, Hanok, houses, good, Village, Bukhansan,

The best and the most beautiful Hanok Village in Seoul, away from the crowded city center of Seoul. It is located at the base of Bukhansan mountain range. It is very highly recommended ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘The shops are a bit pricey but there are not many food and drink shops around, except touristy prices. If you are on the budget, then utilize "Nice to CU" shop for quick ramen, coffee, wate, and snacks. There is a boardwalk on the east wing on the villag, which is ver, very charming and away from the tourists. Locals use that route. Unlike other Hanok villages in Seoul, this one is nore tranquil, plus you can trek the mountains and visit few temples as well. You will not find a better picturesque scenery as this hanok village!!! It is a must visit.

This neighbourhood is so special. It is a modern way to see how traditional Korean houses would fit in a neighborhood of only Korean traditional houses. It is kinda bringing back the old and traditional into the contemporary life of any newly developed town. It has amazing looks and cafes to meet friends and rest, and there is even a temple called Jingwansa, right behind this place. I usually recommend visiting here as a 1 afternoon tour in Seoul.

Beautiful area with gorgeous views of mountains behind the modern hanok village. Two great cafes one for its bakery and the other for its views of the village.

Beautiful houses with unique korean style. The place is very silent and peaceful. Not much activity seen in the neighborhood, despite of its antique and village looking houses, the facilities for the neighborhood are still modern.

The Eungpyeong Hanol Village Why only Bukchon Hanok Village even though there is Eungpyeong Hanok Village? Eunpyeong is home to a beautiful and less tourist Hanok village. Itโ€™s good to enjoy some quiet time, walks, and there are some great cafes to check out here too as well as walking paths to nearby temples, along with clean streams, and up into the mountain.

I think this place is highly overrated! Itโ€™s a very small part with lots of foot traffic ! The village is not traditional enough surrounded by other city architecture! I think going to one of the palaces would give you even more of traditional feeling.

Unpopular opinion, but this place is way nicer than Bukchon Hanok Village. Grab a coffee at the A Twosome Place. You have those check out Jingwansa and Samcheonsa Temples that are nearby, and you can take a hike in the national park.

This village have a real people living then must be cearfull with your voice and then actually this village have a rich people only. Inside have some resturant and some cafe...and then if u walk to deep in village more..will have a big temple. There is beautiful also. Front of this village have cu mart and atwosome place cafe.

Eunpyeong Hanok village is one of those off-the-path places that is not a regular stop on your Seoul visit. However, it's a beautiful location on the north-west side of Seoul, on the border of the Bukhansan national park. You can also visit the museum in the village where you can learn of the original excavations done in the area. The village is right next to the Jingwansa Buddhist temple so you should visit both locations while you're there. It takes a little longer drive from the busy Seoul downtown but it's worth the visit.
