    One if the big river in west Maharashtra, there is Dam on This river called Shivsagar, (fresh water ) it's main source for drinking water and For farming as well.

    The Koyna River is a tributary of the Krishna River which originates in Mahableshwar, Satara district, western Maharashtra, India. It rises near Mahabaleshwar, a famous hill station in the Western Ghats.

    Located in karad. Temples of Krishna mai and God shiva, Hanuman are situated at Bank of river. Peaceful place from 10 to 5. After 5 very much crowded. It is open from morning 6 to 8 pm. It is called pritisangam as it is joining the river koyana and river Krishna. It includes a garden, play area for kids, and a flower garden. Boating is available. Horse riding is available. People of each age can enjoy this place.

    Koyana river is the most important river in maharashtra. Koyana rivers water is used for farming, industrial purposes, drinking purposes.

    It is a classic trekking spot for nature lovers. The dense forest surrounding the river is home to various exotic birds and animals. Fishing can be done near the river banks and the forest can be explored. However, one needs to be cautious of wild animals, especially leopards and wild boars.
