Overall decent place if you love nature and the forest. Pros: 1. The view of the Koyna dam is breathtaking. 2. Rooms are fairly huge. 3. The First floor's balcony is just awesome! 4. The service is very nice. 5. Food is more homely than standardized. Cons: 1. The lawn area in the front is NOT part of the property. As a result, there is no path to go there directly. 2. There are absolutely no amenities. This is just a place where you can chill, eat/drink, enjoy the view. At best, you can go trekking on the mountains nearby. 3. While the first floor has the best view, there is no way to lock the sliding doors. (So basically, anyone can enter from the balcony if they want to.) Also, there is no wall between the balconies of both first floor rooms, but just a standing partition which can easily be pushed aside. So if there is a smoker in one of the rooms, the others are screwed. Based on this, would advise anyone wanting to visit to book BOTH first floor rooms. That way, the other room will have someone you know and trust. 4. While the bedsheets and pillow cases look clean, they've got some Gutka/Paan stains. So better to take your own bedsheets and pillow cases with you. 5. Apparently, the staff also indulges themselves by staying in the rooms when there is no booking. So on the first night, our sleep was frequently disturbed by the staff chatting away loudly at around 12:00AM to 1:00AM, in the ground floor rooms. Next day, I asked the caretaker who was making so much noise, and he said that it was them only, although he apologized for it later.

Nestled in the green mountains of Sahyadri, with awesome view of Koyana dam, this is the right place for a peaceful vacation with family. Rooms are quite big and service is good. The gallery has an eye catching view of valley and dam. Their is a big gallery with sliding doors, which is common for both top floor rooms. This has a removable partition so if you have a big family it can very well be used for cards, games etc. 'Vithoba' the caretaker and Chef is very helpful and helped us in getting the best prices for reaching the place from koyana nagar stand. The food is good and the outdoor dinner in the breezy valley was fun. Vithoba cooks fresh food and is served with affection.

Beautiful location with a clear view of the magnificent Koyna Dam! Rooms, service and food is good. Must visit place with family and friends - though the approach route requires an experienced driver!

Although, the location is good and peaceful, but It was horrible stay in this resort. There is almost no maintenance for rooms. The AC was not working and it really gets hot during the day. On top of that, there was poor cleanliness & hygiene. Frogs and cockroaches and ants in bathroom. I wanted to leave the very first moment I put my foot in room. Not worth it !!

The place is very nice , scenic and peaceful. We have been here for two days . our experience with this stay is very relaxing. We enjoyed tasty authentic food. Above all ,staff here is very warm and helpful.

The place is well maintained and offers great views. It is located on top of a mountain do access is limited and the road is not paved. There is ample parking space one you reach the top. The rooms are big and offer good view of the damn lake below. There are plenty of food options in the restaurant. The staff is courteous and helpful.

Location was awesome, serene nature, lovely weekend gateway to enjoy the beauty of Koyna dam, jungle and sight seeing. Vithoba our chef was really helpful and the food he offered was really tasty. Do visit!!!

Visited this place last month during diwali. Liked the place..the view from rooms is very nice. The only thing bothering us was attitude of Vitthal who's a chef there. He could have been co operative in making food as per our taste and liking, but he didn't care about it. We expected customization in some dishes, and of course we were ready to pay as well, but he didn't mind doing the customization for us, which was rude for guests like us. I would request the resort to tell him to be nice to people, and make few things according to the guests.

Only reason one would visit this property is the location, and nothing apart from that will make you feel cheerful, this place is old and needs a serious renovation

Location is good. Happened to stay for two days. Food is worst quality and extremely overpriced. I would not recommend anyone as the experience was very bad.

The location of this property is very good and surrounded by a lot of greenery. All rooms have a direct view of the Koyna dam. The property has become old and needs a lot of maintenance and improvement in their housekeeping staff. Also wanted to highlight that they overcharge for the bottle of water over and above MRP plus additional GST which was not correct, they reversed it after highlighting this issue. Also their food is decent and overpriced compared to the taste and quantity.

The location of the property is awesome. It is surrounded by greenery. The view of Koyna Dam from the property is breathtaking. We buoyed our stay. The only draw back the rates of food i on the higher side and what they charge for BBQ too too Expensive. Apart all this property is good and staff is friendly.

The hotel location was excellent however the food was very expensive and not upto the standards. Overall satisfied with the hotel but the pricing and quality of food needs to be looked into.

Very beautiful place overlooking the Koyna Dam. Neat rooms and delicious food. The hosts took care of us very well. Perfect for a weekend break. Don't miss the drive to Thoseghar falls while returning to Pune. It had breathtaking views and windmills too🙂👍

Fantastic place to stay. The staff was warm and friendly. The food was great. It’s really well maintained, value for money location. The view of koyna dam is just great! Highly recommended.
