I visited here with my wife during a vacation in July 2022 (monsoon season). Cannot describe how beautiful the place was. After our visit, I was soo happy that MTDC Koynanagar was full & we ended up visiting this place. Decent parking is available at the property. Road to reach this waterfall is INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE. It goes through 220 MW Windmill project of Suzlon, serene drive. Villages are scarcely connected to the main town (Patan) - just 2 ST bus every day. This makes it such a beautiful place. This place itself is a lovely alternative to Mahabaleshwar/Panchgani. Pros- * Incredible, unrestricted view from the property. * Car goes till the rooms, no problems whatsoever (no off-roading). * We stayed in eco huts instead of cabins. This turned out to be an excellent decision, ample space & privacy etc. Check out the photos given with this review. Cons- * Can get pretty crowded in the weekends. Note- * This place is in the middle of Tiger reserve. Expect 'company' there, we had a scary-but-amazing experience there :) All in all, 100% recommended place!

an instant favourite. the surreal view bundled with zero light/sound pollution was mind blowing. topping it off was the amazing staff and the delicious food, this is one place that i cannot wait to go back to.

Top Reasons to stay here: 1.Location, location, location..... The view from the cabin is simply breathtaking. Experience one of the best sunsets. The rooms are neat and tidy. Very good service provided by Prakash ji & family. It is a pet friendly property, easily recommend it to families. Overall we had a wonderful stay.

My overall experience was awesome. If someone is looking for peace with a view, visit here. Ample parking space, AC rooms are also available. Hospitality is also good. Limited food options as the place is remote. If you want food options, better tell them before your stay, they can arrange.

Location is just amazing. Even staff is very helpful. Cabins are good... Only thing is as these are containers durin day it may be little hot and in night it may get cold

The place is awesome and the view from the mountain top is to die for. The staff is absolutely cooperative and very flexible. The rooms that includes both cottages and container rooms are adequate, however post 1 pm to 5pm it gets absolutely hot inside the rooms almost like a furnace and difficult to rest in afternoon time. So, kindly place an AC in the room . This is the only spoiler. Rest stay was awesome and the food especially vegetarian ws tasty.

Pros Nice view of the Koyna dam reservoir and forest. Clean cabins and huts. Good, homely, local cuisine. Friendly and helpful staff. Cons Gets a bit too warm during the day. Limited options of food and things to do. Approach road from Thoseghar is a nice experience through the big windmill farm, but the road is bad for many kilometres. Suggestions Approach from Patan is longer but roads are better. Carry things to do inside the cabin (games, books, etc.). You won't be able to stay outdoors for very long.

this is simple but an amazing place to spend time with family/friends. Beautiful view, nice neat and clean rooms and bathrooms and amazing personalized service for food. They made arrangements for bonfire also. Not a luxurious place. Good for comfortable rustic holiday

Heavenly location on a windy plateau with lots of windmills overlooking the koyna backwaters, a nice rustic feel to the place with comfy rooms, food (had ordered a chicken barbecue extra) was awesome and service was adequate even with a limited staff. All thanks to Mr. Vinayak the incharge who was efficient, very polite and resourceful. Really enjoyed the stay and wish the place was nearer to Mumbai...

No network No sophisticated blingery Just an d fashioned classic rustic resort with one of the best views on offer.

A great alternative to Mahabaleshwar and additionally this is secluded and more peaceful. Location is accurate on maps and road from Patan is good. There is construction work happening towards chalkewadi as of Apr 2022. View from the property is breathtaking. Room amenities are sufficient. This is more of camping sight than a luxury stay. Food offered is local and don’t expect more options as the place is remote and nearest market Patan is few kilometres away. We visited in summer and still it was chilly in the nights. Highly recommend for family and friends outing.

Tranquil, serene raw nature. Peaceful solitude away from the noise of the City nestled among the Sahyadris and Koyna River, this is one place that can give true peace of mind...loved it.

Excellent spot but not at all recommended in rainy season. Entrance gate & following road is too much muddy & slippery even for vehicle But overall service is good

Book AC rooms if visiting during Jan-Jun as the cabins made out of containers get really hot during the afternoons. The view is mesmerizing. Food was okay. It's more of a bikers cabins than a full fledged resort. Facilities are basic.

Marvellous place. Rooms - Ok Food - Tasty Service - Could be improved Location - Mesmerizing Went with family and stayed for a night. Everyone enjoyed a lot. Definitely a must visit place with family and friends.

The location is good however its subject to weather i.e.: you cannot see anything if there is fog. The place is deserted and hot. After 9 am or so you cannot move out of room because of sun. Apart from hill view, there is nothing around to visit which is boring. The staff are villagers who are friendly however they have very limited food stock which was surprising. It definitely does not make sense to travel for 3 hrs or so only for the view. Note in the site they have mentioned about birding, fishing etc... No such things happen there.

The place was amazing! It is located near a windmill farm. Best time to visit will be rainy season or winter season. Amazing service by them.
