Awesome place to visit. The waterfall is situated next to Bhambhavali village. One of the best waterfall ever I have experienced. Parking place is available for car/bus . From parking place to waterfall place we use to walk for 2-3 km. The best thing is we need to go through a small trek. Visit this place in rainy season and after September to till December. The best route for this location is Satara - Yavteshwar- Kaas Flower valley next to Kaas lake you need to take left. Adventure place . Nature is beautiful.

Waterfall is good , but the place is not good. There many leeches in the place . We doesn't even feel the pain when it bites , it starts sucking blood from the body .Be careful at this place .We visited 5 of the people and everyone is affected with the leeches . If anyone visits the place ,please check your legs and shoes and remove the leeches as soon as possible with any object. Don't remove with your hand. So be careful at this places. You can visit the place at their own risk .

Fantastic place to visit in rainy season. Better to wear trek shoes and raincoat. Just before the waterfall there is a small tea stall where you can ask for a guide, he will take you to the best point from where waterfall can be seen well. He will charge 50/- to take you there.

Beautiful place, from Parking you need 3 hours at least to complete the visit. Landscape in the area is beautiful. Road from Kaas lake to waterfall base is rough and scary since thru jungle, should go with group, no cellphone reception so download google maps offline to avoid getting stuck

Highest waterfall in India. Adventurous and quite thrilling experience you can expect at this waterfall. Earlier it was an all hiking route but now the pavers and steps are constructed but you can only use that to go up to the viewpoint of the waterfall as shown in the image attached to the review. Beyond this point you hike to the waterfall.

There are so many ways from which you can reach this waterfall....the way from kass village is having a small trek which is very exciting.. just ahead of kaas lake. 15 minutes walk in distance from Mai. Road to view from long. If you want to go close to water fall then you have walk a lot from vajrai village. Best place for trekkers, 👌🏻 . It’s almost risky & dangerous to reach up to waterfall. This region is known for heavy rain with dense forest. Awesome place & best adventures enjoyable place to visit in monsoon..

This stunning waterfall descending in three stages is so beautiful that cannot be explained in words, to get full view of all three stages you need to go through Bhambavali village. As dam project work is going on upstream at Kas lake, the water flow has been stopped as of now so no point in visiting until next rainy season To visit here, take left turn after Wagjai mandar on Vajrai waterfall road, a steep road will lead you to Bhambavali Village in the valley where you need to park your vehicle and pay entry fees of 30/person at checkpost, waterfall view point is approximately 1.25 to 1.5 km from here Anyone interested to reach upto falls, there is a different route to which you can hire guide at checkpost for 700 (irrespective of group size). If you are visiting Kas Pathar or Bamnoli Village for camping don't forget to visit this place

It's little difficult trekk (walk) to reach near the waterfalls. Not very easy for non trekkers for the people who are around 40 plus. Young people may find it easy. Also you should not take it easily and wear proper clothes like full comfortable pants and preferably full sleeves t shirts and proper shoes. There are leeches in the jungle area so u should keep a chk and get rid of them while walking. I suggest to take a guide with you because it is difficult to find a path of waterfalls. When u actually reach there, u ll be mesmerized with the breathtaking view.

Best experience we've had. Had to walk for Atleast 4 km and the route is more interesting than the destination , i would say that every group which has interest in trekking and more adventurous type routes . you must visit this place . There is entry fee of Rs.50/- but it's totally worth money as you can experience this type of trip only once in life time. Beware of leeches , so it's mandatory to weaf shoes and don't be worried it doesn't cause any pain or problem .

Three ground work done for tourist to talk is great and under progress. The route will take you to a view point of waterfall and not near the waterfall which is a bit disappointing. But the waterfall is too beautiful.

Great place but only when you know the right route till the place... So you should look for a men/women which are proper/local from that area and ask a route which will save your time and you will enjoy. Note that you should try this place only when there would have rain so that you will have a look to biggest water fall.

Great scenic natural beauty. Great combo of trek to waterfall and naturally surrounding beauty. Due to monsoon and landslides, trek to the base of the waterfall was closed. Thus, we admired the beauty from a distance. Trekking are restricted in monsoon, so you need to enquire before you go. Rs. 50 per head entry ticket. Crowded during monsoon and weekends.

The ride to the falls is as exciting as the view of the falls itself. During monsoon, you can hear the falls from quite a distance on the way. The view is magnificent. The trek is not difficult, the path can be a little tricky. Careful with the fauna around, there was a green snake we missed to notice and the trekkers behind us took it's pic and told us we just passed by it. You cannot reach to the base of the falls as it is closed due to landslides, but can view it from the steps. There was very little crowd even during weekends. Post the trek, we tried the homemade buttermilk and let's just say that it was a perfect ending to this adventure.

The waterfall itself is amazing.. it's said that it is the tallest in India. But you have to be physically fit in order to reach nearby. The route is very tough. Avoid taking kids and elders.

This is the tallest waterfall in India, with a height of 1,250 feet (380 m). It is located in the Sahyadri Mountains, near the town of Bhambavli in Satara district. The waterfall is a popular tourist destination, and is best visited during the monsoon season (June-September) when the water flow is at its highest.

Bhambavli Vajrai Waterfall is the tallest waterfall of India. The height of this waterfall is 1840 ft (560m) and it falls from a straight cliff having three steps (stages). The water for waterfall comes from the river Urmodi. Its 5 KM from Kas pathar. A must visit place if you are coming to Kas Pathar. You cant go below waterfall because there is no proper route available. still you can manage to go there but its very risky which i dont recomend to anyone. You can see waterfall from 2-3 KM which is the safe point developed by local authorities. But after that walk on your own risk.
