nice garden for children & family

A very calm & peaceful place. This place is built for people to watch the beauty of Koyna Dam & it’s fantastic, historic construction. The Garden is surrounded by lush green trees, grass, variety of flowers! There’s a small theatre like thing to watch inside this garden where they show a short film / they showcase a glimpse of how Koyna dam was made, how it is useful as a source of electricity. Recommendation : ONE MUST WATCH THE SHORT FILM IF YOU VISIT NEHRU GARDEN ✅ Ticket price : 10 ₹ per person .

The place is a lot of fun for kids as it has a lot of swings and slides. The garden is very well maintained and you get a view of the dam and the backwater from here. They also play a documentary in an auditorium that gives you the info about the dam. Beautiful place.

Good place to view koyna dam steps to climb but not many. Monkeys are there to pester you. No food available but beautiful place. 20 rupees per head ticket.Childrens park is there kids can have fun

They also have prototype model of entire catchment area of the dam. Must visit place to know details of koyna dam n enjoy the evening in gardenSilent and peaceful place in the lap of nature. This scenic garden is just behind the wall of Koyna Dam, adjoining the Koyna back waters. There are ample space for children for playing, plus if you want to click some snaps, there many beautifully designed landscapings. At some locations you can see koyna backwaters. If you are around Koyna, you must visit this place.

In memory of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of independent India, a beautiful grand Nehru Park has been built near Koyna Dam. It has a five-pointed dome. There is a small theater in the garden where the entire Koyna Dam Power Project is introduced through a short film. This place is photogenic. Various types of trees and flowers are planted here. Here is a wonderful place for children to enjoy. Toilet and parking facilities are good. The garden has a good view of the river bank and dam

It is well constructed. Not maintained well. Not painted wherever required. It's a nice place. You can see nice view of Koyana dam from the garden. Wide spread of water storage also can be seen. Needs attention on cleaning and maintenance of the garden.

Nehru garden- enjoy great garden and view of the dam and reservoir, movie about the dam, dam and hydroelectric project model, good for picnic. Movie timing 11am and 5 pm. Ask for English version of you don't understand Marathi.

Nature paradise

It is good if you want some information about koyna dam or if you have kids and they want to play on slides. Apart from that, there is nothing there and one can skip this garden if the schedule is very tight.

Neharu Garden is beautiful place seen koyana dam

Atleast 25 people required to run the documentary in AV Hall in Nehru garden. Else Rs. 500 are charged per show. Inside restro is closed. Food outside the garden is good and reasonable. Boating is not available here.

Good place to visit while near Koyna. Its a huge garden with fountain and few children activities. You can also see Koyna dam from the garden. Overall, worth a visit place.
