One of the standout features of The is its excellent dining options. The hotel's restaurants offer a range of cuisines, from authentic Indian to international, and the food is always fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The hotel also boasts a fantastic bar, which is the perfect spot to unwind with a drink after a long day. The staff at The are incredibly friendly and attentive, and they go out of their way to make sure that your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. They are always available to assist with any requests or queries, and their professionalism and helpfulness are truly exceptional. The room also bigger than usually you can stay here with your family this is so cold place for your vacation trip so please visit this place the location is good also and that's service is too good the room helper help you all of your service so please visit this place this my earnest request

I have been visiting Forest Escapes since the last 4 years, at least once every year. The location of the property is truly amazing. Like this time, I've mostly stayed in the Magnolia rooms, which are quite spacious. The flora in and around the property is quite a sight. What has not been working though is the service. The rooms smell damp because of ill keep. The linen isn't the cleanest. Any request for service takes an eternity to be attended to, and when they eventually are, the poor training of the staff is quite evident. Food quality has become quite inconsistent too. While the spreads are decent for a property of the like, the taste is quite inconsistent. The same dish tastes very different on different days. However, the food is still quite nice overall, particularly because of the use of fresh ingredients. I would sincerely urge the management to train the staff. They are good hard working people, no doubt, but certainly need a few lessons on hospitality. Despite all the inconsistencies, I would certainly visit Forest Escapes again and would certainly recommend it to everyone looking for a break for city madness.

Great Place, nice location, rooms are spacious. As there was an event, they suggested to move to upgraded room, which was a nice gesture. Good for long walks and forest trails. Also have option for Jungle trek, night trails etc. (some are paid, some free). Food option was comparatively expensive (due to weekend only buffet was available) Overall, it was a good experience, will try to visit during monsoons, if possible.

This was the first time we visited this place. The ambience if very good in the midst of nature and is a good getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. I was travelling with my wife, my daughter who is just 19 months old and my wife's mother who is a senior citizen. A few observations and which should not be taken as negative feedback: 1. It is very inconvenient for old folks to walk up and down to and from the restaurant from the cottages down below. it makes not sense to keep moving ones vehicle up and down. Please make some arrangement for this. Is took up a lot of my time when I just intended to relax and not keep driving up and down inside the property. 2. Please arrange high chairs for toddlers since there are a lot of families travelling with small children who cannot be seated comfortably in the adult chairs in the restaurant. 3. Food quality should be consistent. I had ordered prawns and it was not cleaned properly. Everyone knows what happens when you serve prawns which are not cleaned properly. It might be just lack of knowledge on the part of the chef or just an assumption that it would not matter. Its actually very bad for the gut to have uncleaned sea food, especially prawns. 4. I know that you have a bigger parking lot down below. However, if you are allowing vehicles up to the resort, please do something about the muddy and dusty approach road. the current one is quite horrible with big stone and rocks lying around. Forest Escapes cant be an excuse for not at least having a decent approach road. This property is operating for a number of years now. 5. Your staff is very polite and courteous. Always ready to help. Please spend some effort in training them. This will make a big difference. I had more to say but I have covered the most important points. I had a great experience but expected better.

Wish we had minus ratings here ...I would have rated it in minus .... Pathetic experience.. We paid 25k for a night stay for a 3bhk villa. Rooms were ok The food sucked The kitchen closes at 10... We had ordered food for 13 people 3 were vegans among them The vegan food didn't arrive Tried to call room service ...No response All 3 had to go off to bed hungry..Literally the vegans had to eat a piece of chapati .. You order anything in food from the menu...The order is taken and then another guy calls you from kitchen and says the things you ordered are unavailable ...Really ?? We had a couple coming in late ...As the 2 arrived we had a call from reception saying you will be charged extra for these two (being informed about all the 13 guests checking in ) All they want is hell lot of money but when it comes to service and coordination it sucks.....Not worth the charges ...a Big no for this place ...Not at all recommended..

I stayed in Sky Villas (Rooms). This is a new building but still need to come up. There were leakage at Rooms and TV is not working. Restaurant staff needs to learn hospitality from their sister concern, River Side. Rooms are nicely designed and it’s a good property overall. One can stay here and eat at Riverside which has many options.

Forest Escape is very nice and beautiful place to spend your holidays with your family. Location and its surroundings are awesome, gives feeling like staying in the middle of the forest with all facilities. It was great time we spent there staying in neat and clean rooms, walking over the walkways within the resort surrounded by lawns along with dense forest, with clean and fresh natural air. It's a good in all the aspects in terms of locations, surroundings, rooms, service, food quality and a very cooperative staff. Would like to visit again.

I had been to this resort for a short vacation. The property is good , located inside the forest area. Due to the steep terrain and limited vehicle movement , cars are required to be parked downstairs at the fenced parking lot. There’s shuttle service from parking lot to the resort . The property is nicely designed and developed . The rooms are good well maintained with nice ambience and views. There are many activities planned by the resort and made available for individuals. The food at the restaurant is amazing . The staff is very helpful . Overall a good place to stay for short vacation. We stayed in the deluxe room villas and they were quite good. Only suggestion to management is to review the height of the commodes. It’s installed higher than usual.

We stayed here for two nights and the entire experience was mesmerizing. As the name suggests we had really escaped into the Forest. The resort is located inside a forest on a hill slope and is nicely set up without disturbing the forest. The resort has well planned activities combining both indoor and outdoor setups. The riverside barbeque is a must try experience. The restaurant is the best place for bird watching. The menu offers a variety of choices from local cuisines, farm fresh vegetables to continental dishes like sizzlers. Super happy and grateful to the entire staff at Forest Escapes for making our stay memorable.

Just Awesome ! A perfect place to spend time with family and friends. This resort is surrounded by forest and very well maintained keeping nature's beauty untouched. Ideal place for bird watching. We loved, - infinity swimming pool - spacious rooms with a fabulous forest view - cleanliness, amenities & room service Food quality could be better. But it was a memorable stay, we wish to visit again in monsoon.

3.5 actually. I visited this place about 2 days ago. I took a deluxe room and stayed for 3 nights. Good rooms but as we came there was a power cut and AC was off due to short circuit This was a HUGE problem as we drove 400 km and wanted rest. Eventually power was back but it's still took a lot of time the other guests criticized the hotel for its bad service during the power cut. But I wouldn't actually blame the hotel as their general manager allegedly left the job so it is in a dicy condition. No dental kits in washroom Swimming pool is there infinity pool but no view Always go for deluxe room as it is best value for money and also has pool view. Food is TOO expensive and not completely worth. I also had stomach problems due to it But some people might not have it..... Over all after the criticism manager got scared for bad rating and behaved TOO good with us. Manager is a good guy and behaves well..... I will suggest this place if you don't mind spending for food.... Outside food might be bad so don't take risk.... Scenic beauty is👌 very good. Also must go for fishing and archery 1000 rs cost but worth it. Go for jungle safari almost rs 4000 but animal seeing is based on luck. Can explore jungle though...... After all good place

Pros- It was the first time we visited the property and it was a good experience. We were a group of 3 families and stayed at the Forest Villa which has a common living area with a small kitchen attached to it. The surroundings are big with lots of good landscaping done. The property is well maintained. The staff is very cordial with a special mention of Mr. More, who is the manager at the property. The food was good and a good ambience in the dining area, with a chance to better the existing arrangements. Overall a lovely experience with a must visit tag to it. Hope to visit again and try other accommodation options as well. Cons- The seating arrangement in the living room at the villa could be improved. Also the kitchenette could have more of the utensils or kitchenware to help make stay more comfortable for families with kids. Because of the terrain, arrangements could be thought of for easy and safe walk around the various ramps/slopes for the elderly citizens.

This place is wonderful for its ambience. The rooms are spacious and clean. Internal room ambience is great too. Adding to the ambience is a great number of trees within the property. The food here is a bummer, expensive as well as not so tasty. Ours being a big group preparing and serving took time too. The main swimming pool was awesome however our private pool could have been maintained better. All in all a fun place to visit.

I traveled from Mumbai to Forest escape Koyna. I think so long travel for that resort is not worth. The resort is not at all maintained properly. There is. Telescope, but the management said, if you can figure out, operate yourself. But the machine was broken. The ACs in the activity room were not working. Bonfire was waste. So though they have a Big property, but it is not at all maintained Second, the service is not good. When we asked for another plate of salad, the waiters, literally gave us looks. Safari details - The only animal we were able to see in the jungle was flying squirrel. I realised that the staff was untrained. They were chewing tambakhu and spitting in the jungle. Even ppl had thrown polythene around. Can give a miss!

A good offbeat place to go, their campus is very serene and cozy. Advice : please keep the location on while going as the approach is tricky. Also check the rooms for lizards before occupying. Food is very nice and tasty and the service is also very good, staff members are nice too. Visit the place during week days and you'll get the best experience.

Me and my husband had a wonderful and relaxing stay .We had booked Magnolia room. It has all facilities. The only thing is the room does not have a double bed. Two single beds are joined. It would be great if the resort could provide a double bed in the room . The resort is good as it has awesome surrounding .The place is well maintained. Best place to spend time in the lap of nature with family and friends .Indoor activities are well provided. Staff is very co-operative and helpful. Food quality is good.

Good rooms, Good service, Good location and Good food. It's the best option in Koyna area. Thoughtfully designed and highlights local biodiversity at every corner. Spacious rooms and the resort has ample options to choose. Its slightly overpriced. One star they lose as they don't serve food in rooms.

Unforgettable experience and truly forest experience. Awesome property, clean n neat rooms, delicious food, excellent service and fabulous people around you to take care. Apart from stay you can also enjoy adventure activities offered by resort. I must say resort owner has put in lot of efforts building and maintaining such a beautiful property.

The state of Maharashtra is reeling under pressure and after effects of floods. The trains lines and highways are still down and they refuse to cancel and refuns my booking. For the past week we've been bouncing between their representatives and booking.coms representative to combat their absolutely ridiculous policies. I wonder how good an experience they actually promise with such despicable behavior. Worst customer experience so far.. Hope you enjoy my hard earned money!

Natural environment is present inside the resort. Bed and everything in room were comfortable. 7 clock show is brilliant idea to cheer up our presence. A good show we had on our first day. Koynanagar magic & shadow was mind blowing with very nice views to bring audience attention. Really enjoyed both the environment and the service. Thanks.

This resort is a bit of heaven at the end of a rocky ride. Perched half way up a hill, and with a heartfelt commitment to respect for nature and local flora and fauna, it gives the visitor an authentic experience of Koyna. If you like trekking in the Western Ghats, and also relaxing in a spa, you would enjoy a few nights stay here. The warm and gentle hospitality is refreshing.

Pretty place, nice weather and good amenities. Only problem was some of the networks weren't working (like Airtel) and there is no wifi. The rooms are nice but evening time, you require a mosquito coil Or "goodnight mosquito plug" The barbeque is a must-do. I thoroughly enjoyed grilling my own food and eating it after. Overall great experience

Amazing property amidst the Jungle. All modern and latest facilities available but with the Natural Touch. Trees and the Ecosystem has been beautifully maintained. Staff is very good, they take care of you. Food is excellent, Chef deserves a pat on his back. Limited menu but whatever is on it, is very tasty. The village tour is informative. Amenities and Kids play area are upto the mark. Most importantly, it gives you the break and step away you desire from the daily routine. Thanks So much!

Staying in Maharashtra but never got a chance to visit the famous Koyna Dam. So this weekend we searched for places and decided to visit koyna dam. When searched for hotels, we found this wonderful resort. Of course we checked reviews and all and to our surprise the property was really good. Well maintained property, welcoming and helpful Staff, decent sized clean rooms, a lot of in-property activities. The moment you enter the property you get that vibe, the good wala vibe and this property was very welcoming and well maintained. Quite and calm, Away from hustle bustle of the big city. Restaurant was decent, ample food variety available. Would definitely love to visit again. Overall a wonderful stay.

Forest Escape Koyna turned out to be an incredible hidden gem that left us wondering why we hadn't discovered it earlier. The property itself is simply breathtaking, offering a well-planned array of activities and serene areas that make for an unforgettable holiday. Our stay in the forest villa was a dream, complete with a private pool and individual rooms, striking the perfect balance between relaxation and privacy. The barbecue experience by the river was an absolute delight and undoubtedly the highlight of our trip. Raj, the staff member, went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction by accommodating our request for a table, making our riverside picnic even more comfortable and unforgettable. If I had to suggest one thing. Breakfast could have more variety. Tip: Book their forest villa and go for the riverside barbecue experience

Great location. Inside the forest. So extremely quiet and peaceful. Lots of amenities in the resort. The live music scenes can be better. Right now the staff is doing what it can. Must go to the nature trail in the night.

It was really an awesome experience. We loved the nature here. We booked Magnolia which is pool side suit. It has spacious living room, nice bedroom, very clean and spacious washroom, a small cafe area, and beautiful terrace where one can stand and look the greenary around. We booked a jungle night ride which was very exciting. The farm visit was also a gala experience. The food here is also tasty and delicious. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The resort is kid friendly, having nice recreational area with many indoor games, librabry, Karaoke. If you are a nature lover, do visit "Forest Escape"

Generally clean and nice ambience. House keeping needs substantial improvement. Room, kitchenette and balcony get awful sewage smell, a big let down. Layout of Mulberry rooms is a let down too. Even though we spent 4 nights, room wasn't changed despite request due to smell and discomfort. Hopefully better than this next time.

An excellent resort tucked away in the hills near the Koyna river in Maharashtra. You can drive down from Chiplun railway station (1.5hrs) to the resort. Full of greenery and well appointed villas and rooms. Has a restaurant which dishes out excellent food at a decent price. Has a fun zone for the kids, a swimming pool and a medium sized banquet hall which doubles in as a community get together where entertainment programs are held in the evenings. Has option of do-it-yourself barbeque, where the restaurant staff will provide you with all the materials required at a location (within resort) of your choice or even an evening barbecue option at the riverside. Bar facilities also available. Connectivity not available for BSNL, only Jio. Has a great view of the Sahyadri range. Altogether a good resort, for getting yourself lost in nature. Enjoy!!!

dont book 3bhk pool villa at all honestly prior to booking this resort please check other options. although its clubbed with club mahindra its no where close to their standard. we were 12 ppl and had booked the resort almost 1.5 months in advance. the villa booked were two villa one was 3bhk and other was 2 bhk, both the villas were far away we were informed of that but we werent told there is no intercom or within resort calling facility and except jio no other network works and they do not provide any wifi in rooms u can connect to wifi only at reception. they were so understaff that lunch dinner after ordering would take minimum of an hour to get the order also as mentioned above dont book 3bhk bungalow it is scary as the room 1 is disconnected with room2 and 3 and st night time it gets too creppy. lights outside the rooms are all switched off post 10pm so venture out at your own risk.

Situated on a hill and surrounded by forest. Nice panoramic views from resort including sunset. Wide variety of birds in and around the resort. One can do fishing, bird watching, river side barbeque etc. The resort has a small library, children play rooms, swimming pool, spa and a decent restaurant and bar. Staff is courteous and friendly. The resort is located near to Koynanagar. Other notable nearby areas for sightseeing are Nehrugarden and Koyna dam. Nehrugarden has a museum and displays a half hour film in Marathi showcasing history of Koynadam and its major specifications. Koyna dam is not open for public and needs special permission to visit. Deducting one star for bad roads which are under construction and no wifi facility in the resort at the time of our visit. Resort manager mentioned that there factors are beyond their control since they are subject matter of government.

Very beautiful property, and well managed by the staff. It's truly a breakaway from the rat race of the city life in the middle of the forest with bunch of activities to do - archery, jungle safari, fishing, cycling. Lot of forts and sights around. A decent place to spend couple of days from city hustle and bustle. Property is quite huge and well maintained considering the location, however driving up to resort taking approach road requires some serious driving skill. Food quality is below overage and extremely expensive. Breakfast buffet is limited. Staffs are untrained and almost incommunicable.
