My mother (72yrs) had knee placement surgery done (Sep '20) at Ahalia by Dr. SriGanesh Sankaranarayan. An outstanding professional and a wonderful person. Right from our first consultation with him, my mother was very comfortable and absolutely confident going in for the procedure. Surgery went well and my mother was discharged in 10 days. Doctor continues to be very supportive even now (it's over a month now). Nursing staff was excellent and caring (and with a smile always) which made my mother very comfortable while recovering. Room was very clean - very good housekeeping team (very warm and lovely people); so were all other staff - esp physio, helpers, front office with whom we interacted more. Neat canteen and good food - room service too was good and we never had delay in food delivery in the room. Overall it was a very good experience with Dr. SriGanesh and Ahalia hospital. Would also like to thank Mr. Ganam and Ms. Preethi for their support. PS: It was so heartwarming to see some of the nursing staff coming up to talk with my mother, sharing their happiness with her seeing a fast recovery, when we went for review after a month. Doctors are good, no complaint in that. But everything else is really slow, for instance scanning and x-ray is dead slow. I waited like 4 to 5 hours for a scan and its report. By the time it was done, the doctor went home and I had to come the next day to show the report to the doctor. I've been to some really crowded hospitals with better pace at which everything is done. Here, there aren't many patients but the process takes like a 100 years. I think they make it real slow to make people think they are too busy with lots of patients, but to be honest there is no crowd. If they want more patients to come, they definitely should make the process fast.

Very good treatment yet affordable. Appreciate the caring attitude of the doctors (Dr. Akash Saxena and Dr. Ramalingam), healthcare personnel and the administrative staff. Would also like to appreciate the doctors' clear explanation of medical procedures before treatment. The peaceful atmosphere is a major plus point. Ahalia is currently my trusted destination for getting all health issues of my family treated.

We took the appointment last day and reconfirmed it no the same day. There is no use of it. There were only 8 patients before to us and we waited 2.5 hours see the doctor, keeping a newborn baby at home. Highly NOT Recommended this hospital. Lot more better hospitals are there in Palakkad with facilities and doctors. Waste of time , energy and money .

One of the best hospital at Palakkad for Diabetic as well as general consultation. Neat and Celan. Calm and quiet Rush less. Having good doctors. Distance to the hospital from Palakkad town is one of the disadvantage. Have good Canteen and Restaurant inside the 🏥 Hospital.

Ahalia diabetic centre is very spacious with good facilities. The doctors are well experienced. Recently I was admitted for cellulitis and I am extremely happy and satisfied with the treatment. Thanks to Dr. Prem and Dr. Muruganad.

My DAD went to this hospital by walk and wheel chair and we shifted another hospital by structure and mobile ICU. We spend 11 days and around 1.75lakh. After we informed for shifting, we waited two and half hour for billing. By the gods grace we made a decision for shifting other hospital in the last minute. He recover in 12 hours. Never think about ahalia hospitals... Go for better... Worst in cardiology.

I had a very bad experience. 03/12/2022 came as patient viewer. Suddenly the hip pain became unbearable. I was immediately taken to the diabetes clinic. There was a doctor and a nurse there. When I told them about my life-threatening pain, they didn't understand anything, said it was normal muscle pain, and said something without understanding my pain. Finally after some time a young doctor came and he alone understood things clearly and took further action.

Too costly. If you go there for a small disease u'll atleast get a bill of 5000+ rs. And rtpcr, antigen tests are having extra charges than govt. Permitted
