Nice beach front restaurant but as we were there, it was soooo hot. Their Masaman curry was really good. The recommended fried fish with spicy Larb (lemon-chili-roasted rice ) sauce was ok, the fish was not crispy and the sauce was too mild.

Nice beachfront place to watch the sunset. We had a pad thai with shrimp and papaya salad. Both were good. I liked the chewie noodle, but the shrimps were a bit of a let down. They were not the tiger prawns, but the other find that don't have a snap to them. Portion size was on the bigger side. I think it's a nice place to have a few beers to watch the sunset and have a small bite. Staff was really friendly though.

This became our go-to restaurant during our one month stay in Ko Lanta. The food is excellent - highly recommend the fried or steamed snapper or the prawns - and prepared with care. The service is very outgoing and attentive, even remembering my dietary restrictions. The space is perfect for spending time chilling with friends or as a couple. Wifi is good. Drinks are good. And to top it all up, prices are pretty cheap. 100% best spot in Ko Lanta!

Great family restaurant! Absolutely the sweetest staff, our kids loved them. The Thai food is delicious and our daughter from now on only wants to eat the Jasmine rice and veggies from here.

Chicken a bit dried and sauce was no taste. If you looking for something to eat with great view, yes it is right place. If you are looking for some good food it might be considered.

A chill place to hang out for a sunset. The burger had a very nice "American diner" flavor and the chicken sandwich burger wasn't bad either. It was worth a stop in for a little break from the heat of the sun. Love the covered areas with the raised beds to recline on.

Whether you are on Long Beach in low or high season you can rely on the Funky Fish for great value, tasty food and a lovely chilled atmosphere. The staff are welcoming and great fun. Great food choices include Captains Plate of fried fish and seafood (250 baht) and fabulous som tam (green papaya salad, 80 baht). Masaman curry is to die for. And if you fancy a western option the burgers (120 baht) are great in both taste and size. Well worth watching the sun go down here. And if you are caught out in a rainstorm they'll lend you umbrellas to get you home.

We wanted a delicious pad Thai, cold beer and great view, and that is exactly what we got!

Can beat the location with seating facing the ocean. Cooking is tasty too. Friendly staff with smiles!

Really awful food especially considering the price we paid. The fish was obviously frozen which made it watery inside, the chips were definitely reheated and they were so hard you could’ve broken a tooth. They also had a faint taste of burnt which was really unpleasant. My friend ordered a carbonara and could only eat one bite as the inside was like warm and the outside was stone cold and gelatinous. I really don’t recommend this place to eat. The staff were really helpful and kind, just such a shame about the food :(

Went to Funky Fish a few times and everything we ordered was really nice. Great spot to sit and look out to the beach. Barber next door is decent too.

Sunsetview, different types of food available (thai, western, pizza, breakfast) all good. Many drinks and best Icecoffee! Very friendly staff. Very good restaurant/bar to chillout at the beach.

We loved our relaxed late lunch looking at the sea. One of the best pad thais, veg in oyster sauce and mango smoothie. Generous servings and lovely, friendly staff.

Lovely food and good menu selection, reasonably priced in comparison to other beach side bars. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Will definitely return.

Probably the best local restaurant in Long Beach area... food is so fresh and tasty! Sat there 3 times already. The staff has their eyes on you all the time with a smile, very chill, on the beach, also the massage place next to it was amazing! Will come back for sure!

Delicious food really good value too, I would recommend the spicy fried seafood noodles. You're right on the beach so has a gorgeous view. The staff are unbelievably nice and helpful too.

Right on the beach front. Wide selection of food - plenty of western and local food available. We had brunch and had a Spicy Noodles with beef (8.5/10) and a pancake with honey (8/10). They also have nice coffee! Overall, it was very affordable, a nice setting, generous portions and friendly staff. Worth a visit!
