A good sized level Snooker & pool table, great food with generous servings, and ice cold beer plus an assortment of liquor that will satisfy a wide range of drinkers. And of course large TV screens are playing international sports. Pretty much 100% Westerners.

On the road west out of Ao Nang towards Tubkaek Beach, where the road turns north, you will find this Irish Embassy Pub. Whoever put it here must have thought it would do good business from neighboring hotels. I hope they were right, because when we visited it midday, it was empty, stayed empty and was a embarrassingly empty. I felt so sorry for the two staff there who tried to be friendly. My fish and chip meal was average. The furniture was not comfortable and there was no view, BUT there is a nice beach to explore across the road, 5 minutes away. I'm sure it must be much nicer on a busy evening.

Good place to play pool and watch sports. Pool table is 20 baht a game but it's a good table. Ordered half chicken to eat but my chicken was still cold in the middle. They reheated it but of course then it tasted dry. Disappointed in the food but overall a nice place to play pool and have drinks.

Ordered a pie, ribs special and 12 piece Buffalo wings. The waitress, for some strange reason, asked me if I wanted some of them made with spicy Buffalo sauce and I said "sure". We were brought just 12 wings with no carrots, no celery and no blue cheese sauce (all are listed in the menu), just ketchup and BBQ sauce. When I asked about the blue cheese, and said that ketchup is not a normal replacement for it, she said something about not being able to go to macro today. I decided not to waste time asking about the vegetables. The wings were extremely moist and soft and the ribs also lacked any texture of meat. I have no idea what you need to do to meat to turn it to a texture similar to mashed potatoes, but it was somehow achieved. Draft beer was good but the 80 baht cranberry juice was the kind which is sold in Thailand which barely tastes like cranberry, even though the waitress said it was imported. We did also have a chicken pie with sides, which came with the correct sides and tasted ok. The person who the waitress said was not the owner, but the manager, who informed us he was not the manager, asked how everything was and then took 50 baht, (5%) off the bill for replacing expensive blue cheese sauce with ketchup. Then the bill came, and I saw I was actually charged for two smaller portions of 6 piece chicken instead of the one larger 12 piece one (even though the buffalo wings I originally announced in my order were more expensive than the BBQ ones). I felt so cheap trying to explain this to the person in charge, who came over again to ask what's wrong when he saw I was taking a picture of the check and menu. I think he still isn't sure why my original food being replaced with cheaper food resulting ending up being 40 baht extra is any issue. It's no different than being offered a cheaper side order to the one which is included in the cost of the meal because of lack of availability, and then being charged more somehow. He tried to remind me of the 50 baht he already generously took off the bill and offered to "maybe take off a little more" but it all had the tone of haggling down the price of something at a night-market so I declined. Just a super annoying dining experience for us. Would've canceled the wings and saved a ton of stress if our kids didn't need to eat something and there wasn't time to get other food before sleep.

We stopped in because we had credit from last night's stay with the government travel subsidy scheme. They have a sign posted outside saying they are participating, so we decided to give it a try. Prices were higher than most nearby restaurants, but since we had the credit, we stayed and ordered anyway. After our meal, my wife asked for the bill and told the staff we were going to use the promo, but the staff said they were no longer participating, and she couldn't explain why they were advertising that they were participating. A wonderful Irish themed pub located on a very beautiful beach in Krabi. The owner Ross and his wonderful staff will make you very welcome. I ate there twice and the food was excellent both times. If sport is your thing then let Ross know and if it is on TV I am sure you will be able to watch it in the atmosphere of the pub.

Food was delicious. Nice to get some home comforts whilst being abroad for a while. And it was home comforts done very well. Portion size were a feast for the eye’s. Vegan menu was great to have as I didn’t come across many vegetarian places in the South of Thailand.

There was no music so the atmosphere wasn’t pleasant but they turned it on after we asked which made it slightly better but still not enjoyable. Menu looked good and we were impressed/excited with the many vegetarian options (my boyfriend is veggie) on the menu, only to find out that they’re not all available (which is kind of understandable if there’s little demand) AND the gravy they serve the veggie dishes with is not vegetarian! I had the Irish beef stew and wasn’t impressed, it was ok but nothing special - the beef wasn’t tender enough for my liking but maybe that’s a personal note as I prefer stewed beef to be melting in the mouth.

Lovely little gem in Krabi. Me and a group of seven friends spent Xmas and boxing day here. Food was lovely. The staff are on point. The manager is a top bloke, that goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and the Guinness isn't bad at all!! Very accomodating and friendly. Highly recommended.
