So good that we had to come back again the next day, as we couldn't stop thinking about the food we had. No doubt the best restaurant in Krabi. This is Indian restaurant located near to Aonang beach, we ordered Biryani and Samos here both were testy. Service is good and it has very polite staff. This place has plenty of verity for both Vegetarian and non Vegetarian food. This is located on main road and one can easily Notice it. Prices of manu are not much high.

It was preety busy there so we thought they had good food but we were very wrong. We ordered many different dishes (see photo) and they all tasted terrible. Most of them had a strange smell - most smelly was Phad Thai so we didn't even try it (I wanted to throw up because of that smell). This was our first time having such terrible food in Thailand.

The staff at Taj Palace are very professional and accommodating. I personally enjoyed the masala and vegetable biryani. My wife especially loved the Pad Thai. This is definitely one of the better restaurants on the Ao Nang strip and are deserving of a repeated visit.

Ambience was good and so was the staff, but we didnt like the food that much. I mean it was okay, we had tried their Dosa and a Pizza and both were just average whereas some Indian restaurants there could do a better job. I am not saying it was very bad but they could do a little better. Rates were reasonable comparing others in the region, Food part could be improved as a lot of tourists may be eating Indian food for the first time so shouldn't be a bad experience for them.

I have had a craving for Butter Chicken the past few days and decided to try Taj Palace as it was close to my hotel. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. I started off with Prawn Pakora which were really nice, followed by Butter Chicken, Rice and Roti. I asked for my Butter Chicken to be spicy and although I could have handled it a bit hotter, it had a nice level of heat. I do have to say that it was probably the nicest Butter Chicken I've had. If only I decided to eat here sooner during my stay I would have been able to try some of their other dishes. If you're in Ao Nang and feel like Indian cuisine, then give Taj Palace a try.

The food was very good and not to expensive. The only thing that was the downside is that the toilet was found way in the back of a corridor past the restaurant. The toilet was fair compared to a few others I've seen in the area. But it's a nice place to share a few dishes. Only tried the vegetarian Thai food here but both me and my SO liked it a lot. I’m an Indian living in Shanghai for the last decade, and I’ve been disappointed with the Indian food all across South East Asian cities(HK included). So much so, that I had given up hopes of feeding a good Indian meal to my girlfriend. But this restaurant finally saved us. We had a lovely experience here, all the South Indian delicacies in the menu like Masala Dosa, Idli, Medu Wada were on point, and the chutneys delicious. Great place to go to when you're sick of Thai food. Can never go wrong with Indian food. Would have preferred the naan to be fluffier and less crispy, but it was still very nice! We had our favourites - butter chicken, cheese and garlic and butter naan, mango lassi, etc. Very satisfying lunch! Liked the fact that the staff weren't pushy in trying to sell us their 'specials'.

There was also a strong representation of other Indian diners which is a good sign of delicious food. The palak paneer and chana masala was creamy and dreamy. Perfect with the garlic naan. Just the exact amount of spice and heat. Service was excellent, with great recommendation and guidance.

The food: My friend found a hair in his food, and they gave him a free small beer in compensation. My chicken fried rice, besides being completely bland, had less than a drumstick’s worth of chicken meat in it. At least they gave me the soy sauce. My other friends ordered curry, which came watery, bland and with absolutely no spice (no one asked us for the level of spice either). The first time I ordered the chicken curry, and the experience was even worst. I’ve had better indian food literally anywhere in the world. Dont recommend

Amazing food... We went there for lunch and dinner for 3 days. The overall taste, quality and service was equal to any top restaurant in India. Being a vegetarian, good veg food is hard to find in Krabi... They serve Gujrati food too.
