We had the whole fried fish, glass noodles with soft shell crab, morning glory, fried smelts with garlic and the croffle for desert. Definitely give it a try if your staying on the beach.

The best food in Tubkaek Beach is in Mama Kitchen & Moon Bar. I really recomend the mind coconut milk soup and the filleted fish with fresh ginger. The view from the restaurant is a 5 stars experience. Looking forward to come back very soon.

Spotted this place on the map where i was staying, it was a little harder to get to since there's no direct route from the beach. Went during the afternoon when sun was scorching but the little shade was enough to cover us while dining. Food takes a little while but it was really awesome. Strongly recommend the coconut shake and pad thai. :)

Can't argue about the setting, what a stunning environment to be able to enjoy. Two problems here are the staff not caring and the quality of food not being good enough. Our soft shelled crab was soggy as cooked in oil that wasn't hot enough. None of the staff questioned until we were walking out why we left our food. Went here MULTIPLE times while staying at Sunset Beach Resort and Krabi Boutique Resort. A short 5-10min walk down the beach. Very friendly staff, extremely flavourful food. Sure you're paying more than in town (Krabi Town or Ao Nang), but keep in mind this restaurant is also 30mins out of town, catering to the resort people paying more money to be there anyways. Had the pad Thai and green curry several times - both excellent dishes. Their calamari appetizer is quite possibly the best calamari I've ever had in my life. So fresh, not chewy, not too much batter. Sweet chilli dipping sauce made it perfect. Would definitely come here again if staying in the region! Thank you for your great service!
