The restaurant with a large venue can accommodate a variety of events. Good food, good service

Getting old and need some maintenance. Rather remote from downtown and road is dusty. Pool is green with many big fish, might be the best thing here. Food is average and below for some dishes. Suitable for big group of party and locals, foreigners may face difficulty.

With a brush of luck we were recommended to this secret garden only known to the local. From the reading of its name to finding the location, it was manifest that their main clientele are not tourists. It was a long ride from Ao Nang (19km) but we enjoyed the sunset vista having limestone as the backdrop viewed from behind the tuk tuk. The restaurant itself has a main hall for bigger functions and a few pavilions overlooking a pond, in a precinct thrived with an abundance of lush greenery. Staff was prompt to sit you in and recommend their best catch. Seafood is the theme here and a gamut of Thai favorites await you with the likes of flower crab, river prawn which is the huge prawn, clam, lobster and of course the must eat fish dishes cooked in various Thai styles. Strange enough, the dish that stole our hearts was the fried prawn cakes. Though ubiquitous, they were perfectly made here with fresh prawn meat, rolled into huge chunk and fried till crunchy crisp! The seafood items were all tasty matched with an outback setting, to slow you down for the day. Price is on the lower side compared to the beach areas. If you intend to visit here be sure to hire a tuk tuk that waits for your return trip. Transport is impossible to get from here.

Three words - terrible customers service. This place should be extremely avoided if you are non local. Staff greeted us in english and escorted us to the table. Everything went well, but only before the order. They served dishes we did not order - wrong count of rices, chicken instead of crab etc. We reminded the order once again and that two people out of 4 are still missing their dishes, but multiple waitresses did not bring remaining dishes at all, just kept staring at us from a distance and were afraid to approach. How hard was to understand that 2 persons were missing their dishes, especially that we ordered the same... The lunch and our mood was totally ruined.

We wouldn't have found this place without our guide. It's up a dirt road, and around a couple of tricky corners. It's a restaurant for locals with booths around a pond full of very large koi fish. We had a very nice lunch of local Thai dishes. It's up against the side of a rocky hillside so the setting is quite spectacular. If your visiting Krabi its worth a visit to see where the locals go. The Tab was just over 400bht for 4. You can spend more if you're a drinker, but its still cheap by western standards. If you go there and are wondering what the large concrete building with all the pipes sticking out is. It's a man made cave! The pipes are for swallows to enter and build their nests. These can be harvested for bird's nest soup. Does it work? No idea, but someone is trying.

We followed the map and it brought us to estate. It's funny. However at the end we found this gem. Anyone should go and try the food. It's delicious. And the surrounding is just perfect to chill out. You get to see the big fish 😂

The service was attentive. The place was beautiful. However, as a southern Thai, I still prefer other restaurants for more authentic southern Thai food.

Placed aside but really beautiful environment. Eating on top of beautiful water. This was our lunch restaurant after the tiger cave temple, we got a lot of food and it was really tasty! Also good staff.

Great food and great atmosphere with table in small huds beside a fish pond. Very helpful and friendly staff. Only cash payment and Thai bank transfer accepted. Unfortunately no drink menu (no cocktails) and no dessert available, only packaged ice cream. Toilets (a bit open air and squat toilets) might be unusual for westerners, but I was perfectly cool with it. Having seeming really authentic Thai food, even with specialties like snails, insects (wasps, red ants eggs, caterpillars) and several crab dishes. Very reasonable prices.

Absolutely beautiful place, the restaurant is on a lake and there's fish swimming below you while you eat. Food is delicious, pretty much every single type. Favourite was the coconut vegie soup. There's also a spot where you can take nice photos. Spontaneous wedding photo between me and boo (promptly divorced 20 seconds later) (good while it lasted)
