Fantastic lunch with Nat and his family. A truly wonderful meal - fried fish (freshly caught) with pepper and garlic. Such a great location and lovely people. We took the public ferry across from Tha Thara Park and walked - about 15 minutes. Nat arranged for a boat to pick us up from the floating restaurant and take us back to town for a similar price to the ferry. If you want to travel across directly you can ring via WhatsApp to ask for help with arranging a boat.

this is a really charming place with a little garden and some pet fish you can feed while waiting for your food. the seafood is freshly caught, very delicious. you should definitely come earlier, around 5 - 530pm to catch the sunset, because afterwards it gets pitch black. make sure to bring mosquito repellent and extra cash for the boat ride. the owners are really friendly and patient as well, thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here!

If you go to Krabi and take a boat trip this restaurant is a must go. They serve excellent sea food, very good place to sit, clean and very nice host. What a lovely experience to visit Kao Klang seafood restaurant. It is definitely one of the highlights of our trip! Our hotel kindly organised the booking beforehand. It started off with a boat ride from Chao Fah Park Pier, seeing the complex mangrove ecosystem along the way. Upon arrival, Nat was lovely and showed us the crabs, mussels, oysters and fishes (Hello to Suzy, Lulu and Lala!). The cooking was simply delicious. We particularly enjoyed the Tom Yum soup with grouper, Liang (green vegetables) with egg and prawn fried rice (Thai style). This is definitely an unique experience, unlike floating restaurants in other tourist areas. We loved it!

Is really worth the trip to this kelong for seafood. Took a 5-minute boat ride from Chao Fah Pier. The boatman at the pier always tries to promote another restaurant but we insist on coming here. The food were amazing. So so fresh. The garoupa was cooked in 2 different ways, the head for the Tom yum soup and the body was drizzled with soya sauce as recommended by the friendly boss. He even taught us how to take great pics of the sunset. We spent around 2.5hrs there. I will definitely be back again if I am back to Krabi.

We had the most fabulous time here. It is located on the river of a charming Thai muslim island that we toured on a tuk tuk to experience the village life. The restaurant owners were extremely warm and hospitable allowing my so to feed the fish and help catch them. The fish we chose was cooked beautifully and it was really special to eat on the tranquil floating pontoon as long boats occasionally jetted path. I highly recommend this fabulous experience and hope that tourists start to return to this special island and restaurant.
