Little restaurant on the main road in Lanta, run by the loveliest people (uncle O and wife) who cooks great food! The food was simple but flavourful, cooked to perfection. I had some stir fried noodles with veg and the best mango sticky rice. What a treat that was! Support small, independent, local business cause they deserve it! Thanks for the lovely meal, I have to come back for the famous pad Thai! ❤️

Not only the best Pad Thai that we tried in the island but also we felt at home since the first time. Uncle O will receive you with open arms, they will cook delicious food and the kid will show the cutest smile ever. Definitely recommended.

My favorite restaurant in Koh Lanta. Food is authentic, fresh and amazing. I absolutely recommend trying Pad Thai, mango sticky rice and donuts in the morning!

When you arrive at Uncle O's you are welcomed with a warm smile and a relaxed atmosphere. Uncle O himself is a wonderful human being who was very happy to serve us everyday and seemed very interested in our lives and experiences. He has a spectacular playlist that was very personalized and enjoyable. The food was unbelievable and incomparable to most places in South Thailand. The chef is very talented and creates dishes that fill your palate with immensely wonderful flavours. We went everyday and recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, reasonably priced place to eat. Don't just go once, because that Uncle O smile is worth coming back to.

We absolutely loved Uncle O’s restaurant. We come back 3 times during our stay and every dish was amazing. It’s been our best Thai food so far. The owner and his family are lovely and the food is very well priced. We highly recommend. Thank you.

Excellent value and TASTE for money, our bellies were full and we were very surprised by the prices. The place also brings a “family” charm has it makes you feel like you’re eating at the owner’s house. Definitely recommend 👍🏼

Unfortunately a complete disappointment. Went purely based on the good reviews and the food was very sad and obviously cheaply made, Pad Thai - just noodles in sweet sauce without any real vegetables, sprouts or actual flavour apart from loads of sugar. Fruit shakes made from BOX JUICE, NO FRUIT involved 😮. Very upsetting visit, will not come again and would definitely not recommend. Not sure where did all the good reviews eat but I would very much doubt it was here🤷🏻‍♀️🙈.

We ate here several times during our week in the area. Each meal was very good, the service is amazing and friendly, and the prices are very fair for straightforward Thai food. Between the 3 of us, we probably tried 70% of the menu and all were good. Anything with shrimp is extra good because they use large shrimp and butterfly them. Most the customers were of the same thought as we were, because we saw many making this their regular place. Uncle O and his team do an amazing job.

I really enjoyed my meal at Uncle O restaurant! Shrimp with holy basil on rice with fried egg was excellent. Good value too. The owner promised me more spicy next time. I will definitely be back! Great food and a nice family atmosphere. Coconut shake was good too. Not too sweet, just right. Recommended restaurant 👍!

Best pad Thai I’ve had in Thailand so far. The owner is super friendly. It’s also probably the first time I got my food under 20 min in Thailand and it’s super cheap! Go for it

Completely worth it! Portions are quite generous and the Mussaman chicken was delicious. The quality/price is magnificent! Also, the service was polite and kind at all times. Some "negative" aspects: the chicken was a bit chewy, the menu was not very varied, the atmosphere was not completely cozy and I found the bamboo tables uncomfortable.

It is a lovely family restaurant. We love the taste of the food here and the family is very kind as well. Everyday we eat our breakfast here, everyday with fresh and cold fruits.

I don't quite know where to start with Uncle O. If you want to feel welcome, at home and a part of the family then come here. Uncle O is so kind, and cares about each customer so much. The food here is classic Thai cuisine and on my many visits I have tried a range of food. My personal favourite is the spicy basil with shrimp and a fried egg. I also think the pricing of the food is reasonable given the quality.

We ate twice at Uncle O, once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times service was good and food was very yummy. I can recommend the chicken satay, chicken pad Thai, and the seagan curry. My girlfriend can recommend the green curry with tofu. Not on the menu, but don't be afraid to ask, maybe you are lucky especially if you are vegan.

All were adapted to be vegetarian, recommend all dishes we have tried, such great value and lovely family who run it. Thank you :) Update - BEST food on long beach at the best prices - no where else even comes close, we’ve been everyday and can also highly recommend cashew nut stir fry. Thank you uncle O and family for everything during our stay on long beach.

Delicious , affordable food and the kindest owner! We came here almost every day during our week on Koh Lanta. The banana pancakes were my kids' favourite in all of Thailand. Be sure to check out the doughnuts in the morning too.

What a discovery! Delicious food, lovable owner and great prices. We ended up coming here almost every day, be it breakfast or dinner. The pad Thai, fried rice, sweet&sour chicken, the red curry... All of it was 1st class delicious. They used to have a restaurant on the other side of the street but during pandemic they closed and reopened recently. 100% recommended to come and enjoy great food!

A great option for especially breakfast - super reasonable price they make authentic fried dough that comes with a sweet sauce- must to try - and a delicious thai coffee ☕️

The food is very good and the owner is very friendly. During the rush hour the orders would take a while to arrive (it's one in the kitchen and the owner takes care of the service)

Good little restaurant on Phra Ae beach that serves Thai food. Run by a friendly host, this place is a good choice for breakfast too. Every morning the host fries donuts and serves them along with condensed milk at 10 baht each. The fried rice and noodles too live up to the expectations of the island. Prices are fair. Potion sizes ok.
