Great experience and would definitely recommend for anyone in Krabi / Ao Nang area. ✔️ The price was 600 THB per person including the guide. ✔️Each Kayak can take up to 2 people. ✔️ Ideally try to go when the tide is high or on the rise as low tide means more paddling to reach the starting point after the full circle through the mangroves. ✔️ The route is about 7.5km through mangroves and then through the open sea for the last 2km ✔️Take suncream, hat and long sleeve t-shirt if sensitive to sun ✔️ We were provided with bottles of water at the start and 1 waterproof bag per kayak to add our personal belongings

If you want to save money, rent a bike and go on your own to this place. The rent rate is 500Bath for 3 hours for one boat and for 2 persons without guide(which you do not need). We rent the boat from a nice old man. He explained the routes and showed us a map. A safety vest and a waterproof bag are inclusive. Also a coffee /tea after kayaking is incluse. The place is easy to find on maps, because there are not many main other roads. If you book the tour through a tourist burea you will pay more than twice for your trip.

The kayaking among the mangrove was really nice, the scenery was beautiful and really quiet. However, we felt the guide was a bit useless despite him being very friendly; we just took the straightforward path that you can easily find by yourself if you look at the board map they display at the entrance, or if you simply use google maps. In conclusion, that was a good experience but a bit pricy : 300 for the kayak + 300 for the guide each, so 1200B in total for 2 people. I suggest you half this price by going on your own.

Great tour, 2 hours of kayaking at a very easy pace through the mangroves. It could only be done with a guide coz the water pathways into the mangrove forests were confusing. We saw monkeys in the wild jumping into the guides kayak.

This was so much fun. Jump in a kayak with a group and travel out to explore for 2 hours. Heading out in the Andaman sea and then heading to the mangroves and limestone caves and grottos.

The place is beautiful! A must kayaking experience. I had read in many reviews that they dnt take the longer route saying it is low tide time and instead take you through the shorter route. The same happened with us too. They said the same thing and didn't take us through the longer route. Maybe if this happens all the time, the price can be reduced as the shorter kayak route is used. Apart from that everything was perfect. A good day spent.

(Translated by Google) The experience is very interesting and worth the trip to Ao Nang- Krabi. We arrived in November and the Tour Guide reported that we could not finish the mangrove forest due to the shallow water so the journey was not complete but the scenery was great. On the way you can meet monkeys, some fish with legs, even small crocodiles. The river is not very deep, so some shallow beaches you can bathe. The water here is brackish water because it is near the river mouth. You should eat first because kayaking is also quite energy intensive.

We came here by ourselves around midday .. Not a big group. ANNAN took us out on the most beautiful Kayak trip. He told us a lot about the nature in this area, we sea stars flipping over ✨ monkeys grooming their babies and most of all he gave us time to enjoy the beauty of this place and the silence.

I love this place. I own and use kayaks in California. And always wanted to kayaking through trees, mountains and caves. This was a perfect 2 hour tour. Tour guides were experts at knowing the terrain and routes. They have life vests and water for your adventure. So much fun going to do again. No huge waves peaceful and scenic. Can paddle yourself or have guide use the muscle 😊

Had a really great time but a word of advice for anyone looking to go by themselves: check the tides! As we headed out we saw dozens of people coming back in, and realised we were heading into low tide, at which point the majority of the lagoon and canyon are difficult to access.

Great 2 hours kyaking! Tide was low when we went so went up and turned around whereas if you go in high tide you do the loop. Bring sea shoes if you have them!! Book before, we called the guy and said we were 20 mins away but would book the day before or call in the morn as was luck there was a tour going. Paid 600 each. Well worth it! On way home we went to Dome Cafe not too far was AMAZING, views were the best! Our fave day so far.

Just a throwback from me since i missing krabi so much. The easiest way to kayak here by purchasing klook, they will pick you up from hotel to kayak place price range (Rm 90-100++) include lunch.Nice service and breathtaking view while kayaking😀.

Very good experience! Highly recommend if you have done kayaking before to do a self guided option. It will only cost 600 for 2 people to rent a kayak for the whole day! That’s what we did. Just bring bottle of water, sunscreen, hats, insect repellent and your own lunch. There are several beaches and lagoons that you can stop. Watch out for monkeys (near mangrove forest) and never feed them as they will get aggressive at you with food. We took time visiting spots that you probably won’t get to go with a tour group. It was a lovely little private beach to rest for lunch without those monkeys. Make sure you check the tide before you start as you want to be there when it’s high and don’t wanna leave when it’s too low either....... It was a hard work coming back against the tides and there is a massive sand bar close to shore that you have to detour. Good for those who don’t mind working out 💪

(Translated by Google) We arrived ourselves without a tour. Be sure to anticipate the tide, ideally to arrive 1-2 hours to the highest level. Do not take a guide, it is difficult to get lost there (if you swim counterclockwise and take a photo of the map), but you will not play races with a group. There are many kayak stations, the advantages of this one are new beautiful kayaks, clean and well-groomed showers and toilets. At the end of October the price is 500 baht per kayak.

We found this kayaking experience through our friend Mack in Krabi Town and it was 10/10. Our guide was amazing, he picked us up from our hostel in a pick up truck which was fun to drive around in and he taught us so much, he was so friendly and kind, the views were amazing and we got to see a lot of wildlife... Including a crocodile? I think? It was a crocodile? And we saw monkeys 🐒. I can't recommend this enough!

Full five stars to this place. If you are in krabi and want to do Kayak as an adventure activity for a day, then this is the place. Pros: *Like a very reasonable price. It cost me 600 Baht for 4 hours of kayaking including a guide. * The host cum guide was very welcoming and offered us a luggage storage room and water. * The guide is very much experienced and shows us around every aspect of circuit. * Cute cats on the location Cons: --- The location is far off from ao nang beach. Approx 30km. My verdict: General packages will cost you 500-600 baht per person. Here you will get like half of the cost.

Quite an interesting experience! You kayak through the mangrove forest and have a little swim in the river. Make sure to wear a shirt to prevent sunburn and prepare mentally to row for two hours (or hire a guide for 300 Baht). The guides were great and make sure to buy a coconut ice cream with sticky rice afterwards!

Beautiful and serene, our kayaking experience was wonderful. It got bit tough at the twists and turns in the mangroves forest but it was fun. We found some thief monkeys stealing drinking water from the kayak’s 🙈 overall a memorable experience at ao thalane krabi

I'm enjoyed kayaking here. Ao Thalane is mangrove area. If you take tour here, you will discover the beautiful of mangrove area. You can saw a lot of things. Better to come early in the morning because the weather is good. Im visited in the afternoon. Thank god the weather is still ok eventhough little bit rainy. After we finished activity, heavy rainy comes. Hahaha. But it is still best experience so far

The owners were very chatty and sweet. They seemed to really care about making us feel welcome. I was speaking in Thai to them though so I can’t comment on their English ability. The spot was really nice although I’d suggest going later in the day (around 3pm) otherwise the tide is too low in spots.

600B per kayak without a guide. No time limits. Make sure to go there when it’s high tide, especially if you wanna go into the lagoons. The lagoons and the mangrove forests are amazing. However, we got a little bit lost inside and almost got stuck cause the tides were going away really quickly. Very scary. The day was a little windy. Kayaking against the wind can be tiring. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a fun and demanding sport. We kayaked for 3 hours and didn’t even get to see all of it. A lot of time got lost finding ways in the mangroves and paddling against the wind. It’s definitely doable without a guide, but I think going with a guide will be much more enjoyable.

Came by motorbike and rented a Kayak for two for 500 Baht Came here at 3pm while the tide was coming in. And went without a guide, I had to turn around half way in as the tide this time of the month and day was too low. It was still a great experience. The only bad thing was while coming back in, it rained and the shoes I was told to leave at the dock were soaked. I'd recommend the staff bring customers shoes in when it rains. Staff recommended a nearby local eatery. It was across from the Soccer field, nearby. The place had no reason to be as good as it was. It looks like a normal local eatery however the dishes served belong in a decent restaurant.

(Translated by Google) Very fun, good guy, not tired, excited at the time of pie, afraid of pie, but we got the first time. Paddle to the sea, it dances with the worshipers. But it's safe Pie into the gorge, saw a small white crab that lives next to the rock The picture is rarely taken only with a mobile phone. ^^ It is exciting. I cannot tell. The ship also encountered the waves. But not at all. It was fun. The sun is too strong, recommend wearing a hat. Be sure to save yourself the points where and how to move, otherwise you can get lost. We rode a kayak for the first time, without experience, we learned almost immediately, the main thing is that someone alone guides which oar to row - it's easier. (Original) Невероятное место!
