Beautiful beach near to the town with a lot of amenities

It was cloudy at July. long beach. now its a low season so empty restaurants and bars. Bar on the main street despite low amount of ppl play music very very loud. Thats why it is better to avoid hotels near by the road. It will be too noisy. Beach is not dirty. But not much to do. Its like Pattaya but you can swim and go for a snorkeling tours. Sand is brown and hard-grained. Better to stay on Phi Phi island. White sand. Blue water but you need to explore all two beaches to find a good swimming spot. Same price for hotels, even cheaper in restaurants. Fireshow is phi phi is much better too. Schedule of a airport transfer is in a photo. Last bus at 18:00. Wont see sunset.

Great beach with stunning cliff views. Good swimming at the beach and plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. Long tail boats will take you to the other beaches nearby.

Because and peaceful.. it's shopping paradise of Krabi.. specially those who love street shopping. Lot of restaurants near Ao Nang Beach. You can enjoy the sunset. Must visit place in Krabi. If you don't have plans of staying in Krabi and plan to visit Phuket, would suggest to hire a car and drive down to Krabi's Ao Nang Beach. There an amazing restaurant to try Mexican food, Crazy Gringos at Ao Nang Beach.

Nice beach for evening walks, but to dirty for swimming

Long narrow beach with soft and brown sand. A great spot to lay and relax to the waves. They also have a beautiful sunset and nice for evening walks. I did not try to swim cause look like little bit dirty, but beach view is amazing. A lot of restaurants near the beach and when the sun goes down, many place to eat open until late night. You can also find a lot of souvenir shop and it more look like night market around this beach.

One of the beautiful beach in krabi AO nang. Amazing sunsets here with fabulous memories. Sand is a bit hard-grained. There are also many good swimming spots here on the ocean as it is shallow and with low tides. It is clear to swim in Ao nang and it is not really crowded much There is beach on one side with markets on the other side. We captured best sunset views here at the beach.

Nice beach to walk, not sure about swimming because longboats. At end of beach, there is monkey trail and plenty of monkeys.

This beach is picturesque with green white mountains on side and few small islands in between along with longtail boats on shore. We went during sunset time and it was beautiful. The crowd here is very friendly and easy access to everyone

Its quite long beach and the main point for watching the sunset, walk, sit and relax, etc. It’s also where all taxi boats run from, so I don’t find the beach and the water clean enough. But the rock formations and the view to the other islands is beautiful.

It isn’t that clean as it seems in the pictures so we couldn’t swim, I am not sure if it was because of the timing. Good for a long walk at the beach. We saw a death crocodile…

A perfect place to catch beautiful sunsets. The beach has a lot more around. You can also find a promenade near the beach where you can stroll around. There are several shops and eateries on the street near the promenade. There is a fire show in the evening at the beach which is very interesting and entertaining. I suggest to not miss seeing this show. The area is always bustling with people around and is lively.

This place is amazing! Great views, shops, massages, restaurants, coffee shops, souvenir shops, hotels all over along the road! The beach is very long, so it is never crowded, the sand is fine and the water is clear. To be in better condition, maibe go away from the pier(very noisy).

Like the location and the beachroad for restaurants and entertainment. The landmark market is good. The Beach is okay not amazing. Great place to pass through for a day or two . Also this is where you get the long tails to Railay!

The northern part is good for walking with the sunset while the southern part( close Monkey Trail) is nice for bathing. Very little shadow ao be careful with getting sunburn. The water is not very clean and some sewage ends at this beach, but for a quick bath or just relaxing is ok.

I didn’t swim here. It didn’t seem worth it when a 15 minute boat rides takes you to Railay and Phi Phi in 30. You can buy the tickets at the tour shop across for However this beach is great for coming with some street food and catching the sunset. If you’re looking for a proper sunset dining experience, try Reeves beach club. There is also a great fire show there or you have Aonang Villa that hosts a fire show thats smaller and more laid back.

Nice, little bit more of a tourist location. for those who want a quiet secluded beach, as you can probably tell, Ao Nang is not the way to go. For a day trip though, great please to travel.
