Recommend going to the elephant sanctuary down the road where riding is not offered, but the welfare of the animals is at the heart of what is offered, rather than the circus act at Nosey Parker's. The sanctuary down the road gives a truly interactive experience up close and personal with two beautiful rescued Thai elephants. Feed, bathe and prepare food for them, very worthwhile.

Here my suggestions and reviews: 1. You can book from agent or straight away contact the place. I choose to direct contact in their website. They will pick you at your hotel Why not go with agents? Because you will be put with other people that you don't know. And it will your time when they need to pick up all other customers. 2. Starting price will be 800bath adult 500bath for 2-3 programs. 3. Bring extra pant if you want to swim in the river. It really nice river. Clear and cold water. I really recommend it. 4. They give some ball made from elephant poop to us. 5. 100 bath starting price if you want your picture to be print and frame. But of course you can take as many picture as you like Usually I don't want to ride elephant. Or don't want to support this kind of activity. But my kid want it. Should be my last time.

Do not spend your money here. Elephants are not made to be ridden. Do not support animal cruelty! If you want to see elephants then I recommend going to an Elephant Shelter!

Mixed views of this place. I loved being able to spend time with the elephants, however for the majestic creatures they are, they are treated quite violently. To the camp, the elephants are seen little more than a possession and are frequently abused with sickle like devices, restrictive head pieces and shouted at when not behaving. In saying all that though, not all of the guides mistreat them, which our guide was a lot more gentle, and we had an enjoyable time. But still struggle with the morality side of things.

Why would any tourist want to pay to ride the elephants? Come on! No. They’re not made for riding. Also, you can see the response of the owner’s of this sanctuary is very unfriendly! Scroll down the owner said “poor tourist” to another reviewer. We should not support this kind of people. There are other sanctuaries that care for elephants and are kind people but you will not find it here.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. Sitting on the back of these incredible animals is as much a privilege as a joy. After spending an hour our so in awe, we then were allowed to feed them. Shame that we were on a bit of a schedule, as we could have easily spent a couple of more hours in their presence. Another tick off the bucket list.

Do not go here, they don’t care for the elephants or look after them very well. Go to a real sanctuary not a place like this… animals aren’t here for people to make money from - very unfair, you should be ashamed, elephants are not rides.

Please don't go here... I went for a walk around the complex and saw an elephant get beaten with a stick that had a metal hook on the end of it, it was bleeding pretty bad. They have to break the elephants to let you ride on them, so please don't be a part of this and go to a sanctuary instead!

One star is still too much to rate this place. This place has to close! It’s so unethical. Elephants are sensitive living beings, and cannot support big humans on their back all day long. Please don’t give any money at this park, or you will contribute to abuse these poor animals. Of course, the park wants to keep clear conscience saying that they are taking care and protect these beautiful creatures, but please, elephants don’t need humans to keep alive, let them free and in their home country.

This is horrible and cruel. Do not ride elephants when you visit Thailand! I am now sponsoring a recovering elephant in Thailand who was subject to this torture and it is heart breaking. Visit a elephant sanctuary instead.

I was not going to go here, because of riding and reviews. I spoke to a local and he told us there were 2 elephants there and they needed help with food. So, I ended up going there to donate. The elephants are NOT riden anymore. They are currently chained (which sucks) but they are in the middle of building a fence to eliminate that! It's almost done, the bolts looked new (I believed them). They let us feed them, pet them, and informed us of their plans. The 2 elephants were so sweet and skinny, I hopefully they're telling me the truth on the right path for these 2.

Don't do that. Do you want to fix the hole day in the sun by a chain on your feed? I would be not happy about that. Go there a see by yourself the body language of the elephants. No pictures needed ❌

Disgusting. After going to Chiang Mai, where they treat the elephants properly, this is clearly an abusive place. You can even tell by the owner's replies, absolutely out of touch.

Don’t ever visit this place for elephant trekking. Owner is very arrogant and not ready to give any sort of information to customers. We started asking him few questions about the place which he resisted to give and very arrogantly replied not to talk and leave if you are not interested. We left the place immediately after his response although we were in a mood to go for elephant trekking.

Nosey Parker's Camp is one of the best elephant camp in Krabi, located in a green forestry area with small canal and mountain. They have transfer service from your hotel to the camp and back.

An overall great experience! One gets to ride and feed an elephant. My respect towards these magnificent and intelligent animals grew to a new level as a result of being on the back of one of them for just that one hour.

We dropped in here unplanned, we wanted an elephant experience for our kids while in Thailand and these guys provided a good experience. I've ridden elephants in northern Thailand before, and I felt like that was a better experience because we rode bare back and the staff was more friendly and communicative. I feel like the chairs on the elephant's back isn't the most humane way to ride so I definitely preferred the bare back experience. The only time they really talked to us was to get us to buy souvenirs. However, for the price paid this was still very worth it.
