Lovely national park. The path is very well paved so it's an easy 2km walk. Beautiful view from the light house, the beach was pretty empty too. A lot of rocks in the water so watch your step, but refreshing to be in wavey water. Beautiful spot yo watch the sunset from the rocky beach too

200 baht fee per person + 20 baht motorbike fee. In my opinion it was not worth the money. Most of the other beaches on the island look identical and I was super sad to still see a lot of trash even though it is a national park :( There is a nature trail as well but besides a nice 2km long walk in the forest we didn't see much of nature. I saw more animals and monkeys on the main road on the way there😅

About 30mins drive from Long Beach is Mu Ko Lanta National Park. Its a small national park but in my view worth a visit. The highlight is walking up to the lighthouse for the view. As usual watch out for the monkeys, keep water and food well hidden, otherwise be prepared to get some welcome/unwelcome attention depending on your preference for the little fury ones.

Beautiful national park at the southern tip of the island. We saw rare dusky langurs climbing a few feet above us in the canopy, a mother and a baby curiously checking us out. They were very few people in the park when we visited during low season. Relax by the peaceful sea. The waters are very tranquil and perfectly clear. Beware the monkeys who may try to take your possessions if you leave them on the beach. We had no issues but others told us to give us a fair warning. Note; if you travel by motorbike as most people do here, the grade as you exit the park is extremely steep. Motorbikes with smaller engines will have a difficult time reaching the top. My wife is a slight person and needed to dismount for me to make it to the top the slope. It's the real deal.

Entrance: 200 THB per person. A beautiful cliff with an old lighthouse and a view of the coast. While walking on the adjacent lovely beach, you may encounter monkeys. The trail through the forest in the Thai climate is a bit more challenging, lasting about 30 minutes. Here, you may encounter monkeys again and discover the local fauna.

Stunning panoramic views from atop the lighthouse cliff and an almost exclusively-private beach 😎 This afternoon was 200 baht well spent and, tbh, I wish I’d come here sooner to make a full day of it. I saw a huge monitor lizard, plus had a lovely little walk around the rocks and up to the lighthouse. On my next visit I’ll do the jungle trek. The beach is small, but there were very few people there so it felt like having your own private beach. One of the things I loved most about this park was the views from the top of the cliff, where the lighthouse is. Truly stunning 😍 Another place I’ll return to, to explore further ❤️ 🥾 🏝️ ⛰️

Super cool place with some actual adventure. You will get charged for parking but worth it. The jungle walk is a bit tough but a single straightforward path and they're are monkeys. Even in the dry season it was super hot and humid. You need some good shoes to do it properly. There were a bunch of kids also doing it so if the can do it, so can you. There's a store where you can buy water, soda and some Thai food. There's a beach but we didn't go.

(Translated by Google) Good atmosphere, beautiful sea, quiet Unfortunately, not until the sunset would be very beautiful. There are selling food and drinking water. Slightly more expensive on the shore Women's toilet signs, nice men Overall, if you are a first time traveler to Koh Lanta, you should check in at the park. There is a national park entrance fee 40 Thai people, foreigners 100 Motorbike 20 baht per car, I can't remember anymore. Nice small national park on the south side of Ko Lanta. Entrance fee is 200 baht per person. There is a 3km hike with a nice view point at the end. If you start at the trailhead from the parking lot, you end the hike at the beach. Takes about 1 hour. Beautiful beach, great for swimming. Also there’s a lighthouse that’s a short hike up from the beach where you get nice views of the area. They also have bathrooms and showers.

Great place for a 1 hour hike in the jungle to see monkeys. There is also a clean and nice sand beach for swimming. Parking available. National Park Fee is 400 THB per person plus some THB for your vehicle.

A nice park with a beautiful beach to swim at. Highlights include a lighthouse with amazing views. A 1 hour nature hike with some ropes to climb up down depending on your direction. I recommend to start the trail by the campgrounds and not the parking lot for a easier route. Not a trail to take without some water. Don’t do it in flip-flops! At the campground by the bridge is where we saw some monkeys with some babies. On the trail there was no sign of any wildlife. Entrance to the park was 200 baht each and about 40 baht per motorbike. There is a restaurant, change rooms and showers on site to use, albeit not overly clean. Our favourite part was the quiet beach area with beautiful sand and crystal clear warm waters. Grab some shade under the edges of the bushes. Nice day trip to the Southern part of the island!

The park is beautiful. You can swim in the water at the beach and there’s a lifeguard chair. I wish I stayed bc the water is very clear. The trail to the lighthouse is washed out, and as others have said is the least beautiful thing about the park but the view of the ocean is wonderful. The nature trail is not a nature trail but closer to a real hike. I found it challenging, with a lot of up and down, and challenging rocky path or washed out sections. It’s not suitable for those with mobility challenges in the slightest. It took an hour for me to complete. I saw two types of monkeys, salamanders, monitor lizard, and others. It was a nice time. I arrived around 9:30am and left at 11 and the park was getting crowded as I left.

Honestly really beautiful. Amazing views, private beach vibes. 2 trails, one through the jungle where you might see the coolest monkeys, and one up the lighthouse which gives you panoramic views. They also had a prayer area with a wudu station which is even more amazing.

The beach was so beautiful! Although you couldn’t get to the lighthouse or do the nature trail because it was damaged; which was a bit disappointing because it’s kind of the highlight of the park. Other than that, it’s still something worth visiting! I suggest bringing your own food as the restaurant isn’t very good; but beware of the monkeys! They will steal your food. Overall, beautiful place!

Mu Ko Lanta National Park is a stunning natural gem located in Koh Lanta. You can explore the forest by tracking their nature trail for around 1 hour. The entrance fee is 200 baht for foreigners and 40 baht for Thai. Also extra 20 baht for scooter parking fee. We can enjoy views of the Andaman Sea from the viewpoints and visit the lighthouse.

Very nice view on lighthouse from the beach. If it’s going about nature trail - nothing special. It’s very good that place like this are exist but You can find a lot of free nature trails like this one. Big minus that You can’t buy water because inside aren’t any open shops. Journey without water is a bad idea!

The beach and local area was very nice though very windy the day we were there. So sand was blasting about and visibility in the sea (for snorkeling) was almost nil. I did the nature trail but, whether it was time of day or year, did not see or hear any wildlife at all. (And I'm pretty observant!). So that was disappointing. The trail itself is challenging up from the parking area and moderate fitness likely required. If you are just looking for a nice beach then stop at Bamboo beach and save 200baht! 😀

The hiking tour has one view, so you spent one hour exhausting walk with I guess 500 meters relevance for nothing. The beautiful beach is 5 minutes walk from the parking place. In the rain forest is nothing to see; no animals, no special flowers, no birds. At the beach there was one monkey. No signs showing difficulty level of climbing of the trail. The trail is absolutely not worth of visiting. Inside restaurant in the park is just a pure joke, awful, dirty, with no spirit. We can recomend this place ať all.

Really nice place. But! You have to pay 200 Baht per person and 20 Baht for the scooter. Maybe I'm too picky but for that price, the trail is not well maintained and this is the only one. It's a really short hike but if you're not an active person, you might have some difficulties. Shoes recommended. We saw monkeys, dragons and lots of birds. The lighthouse is falling apart but it is nice to go up there! The beach is beautiful!

Loved this place! Great moderate hike. Bat caves, river and waterfall was beautiful. So many monkeys bats and cockroaches in the caves! Was really amazing to see, went at the end of January and the waterfall was not very active but still great to see. Especially the HUGE monitor lizards if your lucky enough to find them. Worth the trek

Absolutely worth stopping by. Even with the entry fee which supports public works. Immaculately maintained by the national parks service. You’ll have access to two beaches (one is rocky) and a nature walk (which we didn’t do because we just came from the waterfall). The lighthouse is an easy climb up with very nice vistas. We arrived by motor scooter. The best way to get here.

Definitely worth a visit. Entrance fee is 200 baht per person, plus 20 per scooter, but you can easily spend the whole day. The walk through the jungle takes about 40-60 minutes depending on the heat and fitness. From the lighthouse you have a great view in all directions, and a few nice photo opportunities. Then there's the white sandy Beach with beautiful clear water you can spend the rest of the day.

(Translated by Google) It is much more convenient to travel on the cement road than it was in the past years. Nowadays, toilets are very well-built. There are showers too. Be careful with lizards and wild monkeys. It may frighten tourists as they are all over the toilets. You should look carefully first. There is a entrance fee to the park, Thai people 40 baht, pay on the hill before entering the bottom of the park, there is a wide and sufficient parking lot. I have a picture of my 2005 trip to see that the development has gone a lot. This is a magical place. We drove down to the south of Koh Lanta, and ended up at Mu Ko Lanta NP, the entrance fee for tourists is 100bht per adult, 20bht for scooter. There was a short walk to arguably the best beach in Lanta! The water was calm, and a perfect temperature and we were lucky to have the beach (mostly) to ourselves before a bunch of small groups showed up (about 10:30am). Would highly recommend, and if we were there for longer we would have visited again!

Far more taxing than what i was lead to believe. Rather interesting terrain. First part if walking the route from car park to beach is somewhat rustic and steep. But eventually one comes out to a stone layed path, the steps going up and down are very rustic and rather large. But all in all a interesting walk. Some fantastic views at points. But was humid and buzzing with mosquitos. Take bug spray.

This will be for those who car camp. Entrance: Drive in before 5:30pm. Entrance fee (cheap, and charged by headcount) Camping: Camping fee (2 cars, 2 nights THB800). There are 2 areas for camping, tent and car. Food: There’s a cafe within the compound. I’d say food is quite decent, comparable to restaurants outside so save yourself time by eating in. Wash: There’s running water and clean toilet for shower. Bring your own toiletries. Do: Hiking, swimming, sightseeing the usual national park activities.

Visiting this park was a very nice experience. We did the trail and then spent some time at the beach. The hike is intense because of the heat and you need to take care, but it's not that hard. Most of the way is paved, except for an area at the beginning where it's a bit more intense. Because of this area I recommend starting the hike from the parking lot and not from the beach, because it's definitely easier to go through that part when you go up. We saw one monkey on the trail and several on the beach

The park itself is quite pretty with a path to the lighthouse, a nice beach and a very nice view from the top. Entry fee is 200 baht/person. The national park walking trail is not very interesting though, the „landmarks“ are hardly visible and not spectacular and it is probably important to know that the path is quite steep at some points, so not ideal for unexperienced hikers or anyone who feels insecure. It is just a path through the jungle, marked with approx an hour and it took us at least that time. Other than that we saw some monkeys, dragons of comodores and lots of pretty nature.

The lighthouse itself I wasn't really interesting. But the view from up there is astonishing. I also did the little trekking tour. It took about 90 minutes and the last part was really slippery. Fun and a experience though. I personally do not think the entrance fee of 200 was pretty high, too. I didn't see any animals in the jungle but I saw a few by the houses.

The pathway can be hard in some parts but it's amazing. I start from the parking area and I ended up on the beach. I recommend to have at list water with you. Close to the parking area there are restrooms , a little bar and one restaurant.

What a BEAUTY ! Just driving along the concrete beach road with it's winding road up and down is an experience olready! Comming past the many incredible looking RESORTS is an incredible side to see ! I so sorry so much it's the 1st of July and everything is dead and closed down to covid 19. It makes you cry to see up close what COVID has done here. Anyway I enjoy so much not having so many foreign people around anyway. So if you come now it's so beautiful.

It’s nice but nothing too special and for the journey and ฿200 entrance fee and ฿20 per motorbike, it’s a bit pricey I think. Didn’t do the jungle trekking too hot and tedious for us. It would be nicer if there are more animals in the park.

Been here in 2013 and thus had high expectations. However, in early 2021 the appearance of the NP is not very good and staff seemed to be in a not-care mood. While there is a non-smoking sign for tourists staff members are smoking in the NP. The view point at the lighthouse is still worth going.
