Bit of a scam 200 Baht per person for maximum 5 minutes, *** Thai people is 40 Baht *** the fact they charge foreigners the amount they do is absolutely disgusting 🙃 you spent the whole time walking on an unsteady raised walk way so your not even walking in the cave it’s self. It was cool inside the price is very high for what your seeing so I would personally give it a miss. You do see lots of bats on the ceiling of the cave so that was cool. It’s a shame the price is so high otherwise I would of had to give it a 5 star but for what you pay and what you see it’s definitely not worth it.

The biggest impression was made by the hefty price of 400THB per person. There is a footbridge that runs through the entire cave, which makes a loop at the end and you walk back the same way. Don't expect too much and take a look at my pictures ☺️

To escape the rain we decided to explore the caves. Thankfully we only had to pay 100 baht per person. The caves are pretty massive but the area to explore is a bit short. So don't be expecting a massive tour. As mentioned in many other reviews, the walk way is built up pretty nicely but feels a bit scary and is missing some parts in one corner. So it adds to the excitement of exploring an old cave.

Beautiful cave that we only came across by chance We think the 200 baht entrance fee per person is a bit high considering the time (5-10 minutes) you spend in the cave. It's a small circular route, you can hear and see bats and can look at the cave.

The cave is beautiful but 200baht pp is absolulte rip off. 5minutes of walking around at best. Wish I read the comments sooner. Waste of money

The cave itself is beautiful but the walking bridge is in very poor condition. I do not understand what they use the money for from tourists. Some of the planks were barely there, you need to be very careful. If you have little children, hold their hand tightly.

Located around a 6-7 minute walk from the Longboats, it costs 200 Baht to enter. It's a pretty cave that will take around 20 minutes to complete. People with mobility issues or don't like uneven surfaces should give it a miss

The Diamond Cave is a large grotto that is among the most famous in Railay Bay. It features the best stalagmite and stalactite rock formations and makes for a worthwhile stop on your list of things to do at Railay Beach. There are a lot of bats inside the cave. They took 200 thb for the foreign tourist.

Didn't go inside this time as I went just 3 months prior. It's not a very big cave but it's worth to go in at least once (THB100 per adult). The formation of the rocks are quite amazing.

A small cave but definitely worth checking out! It’s lit well and you can see clusters of bats and dripping stalactite. The walkway was in poor shape and I felt like I could fall through if I wasn’t being careful, so beware with children!

This is one of the options for things to do at Railey Beach in Karabi, Thailand. They do advertise 200 THB per person (locals pay less) but today they only charged us 100 THB. I saw some people not going because they didn't want to pay. Don't make that mistake! You'll get to see some amazing stalagmites and stalactites as well as bats hanging from the ceiling and flying around. They won't bother you though.

Great cave to visit if you are around in Railey, there are bats living in there 🦇 Entrance fee is 200 baht, we told the guy that we only had 100 baht for both of us, he said Ok 👍

Beautiful limestone cave but super expensive for the value. Entry is 200 baht which does not justify the place. If you have been to a lot of caves in other countries you won't be impressed and can simply skip it

The condition of the interior is a little scary, but there is some beauty, even if going to focus on the path that is not very suitable, should improve in this matter a lot, if it falls down, it is not worth coming in, even though the path is not very far Inside there are bats that live but rarely see, hear only the sound. There is an entrance fee, Thai people 40 baht per person, foreigners 100 baht per person. .

The cave was great, but if you’re scared of bats I wouldn’t recommend going there. The path was really old and kind of broken at some places. Great for a quick adventure close to the beach!

The 100 Baht admission fee is a bit steep considering you can see the whole cave in 10 minutes, not the 30 minutes one way the board says!

It's gem of a place, such a beautiful stalagmites/stalactites structures. The entire hill/rock is being erosed by the salty water of the sea from underneath. The same huge erosed rock is standing on the beautiful beach it's one of the best in the world.

This cave is amazing, to get to it you must talk a water taxi to railay 100 Baht each way, and the walk up the trails. To enter it is 200 Baht per person, but it is worth it! The cave is dark in most spot but lit up where it needs to be. Eerie vibes with all the bat noises. It is one to see for sure if you are in krabi!

One of a kind experience of these limestone caves. Enjoyed a lot. There is a shady 100 THB entry fee though. They don’t issue an actual ticket and just take the cash. Looks like locals scamming the tourists.

The cave is cool, but it's just 5min walk inside and thats it. It's really expensive despite the fact that for Thai people its 40 baht and for tourist its 200 baht.. like why? For us a waste of money.

  • 3/5 Sharon T. 3 months ago on Google New
If you are looking for something light and easy to do in Railay beach…you can try this out. The cave has man made tracks within that makes walking easier. However, it may be challenging for elderly where mobility is limited and certainly not wheelchair accessible. There is also lighting within the cave that certainly adds to the aesthetics. The cost is rather steep for such a short circuit within the cave. Tourist pays 5 x more than locals. Tickets are 200 Thai baht per adult and 100 Thai baht per child.

This is a small, yet complex cave system that is about 20 minutes of interesting and easy (well, relatively easy) movement across some rather wobbly boardwalks. My young daughter was quite spooked out by it all. A bat colony on the roof, some sparkling pools and intricate fluted structures, stalactites and stalactites. No torch needed, and no tour guide either. Easy to find, and remember that the fees are an important component of supporting Thailand's environmental conservation efforts, so 200B isn't really that much in the scheme of things.

Small, safe, easy accessible, very beautiful. Non - claustrophobic. Supposed to be 200 bath pr adult and 100 bath pr child, but they seem to give discounts to happy and respectful people... Closes at 17.30. I give it 5 stars due to its charm & a small something to do while i the area. It is not a cave you will want to travel specifically to, but a nice visit during your stay in Railey. Minimum time required is 15 min.

A great way to spend 30 mins if it is raining outside, and you don't mind paying 100 baht/person. The limestone structures inside are awe inspiring. You will also find some bats hanging from the high ceilings. We had included the trip to the cave on the day that my weather app (climacell) showed it was going to rain on and off. So we headed for the cave fro the beach when the clouds rolled in.

Stay at the front desk just laying on table 😊 be waiting for you hehe. Enjoy your adventures and stay safe.
