We got there around 11am, as part of the tour, so maybe this impacted our experience. First, there was no chance for snorkeling. We spent less than 5 minutes here while on the boat. To say it was fully crowded it's an understatement. Secondly, you could barely breathe with all the pollution from every boat and speedboat. I didn't get what was supposed to be so great about this lagoon.

Too many boats. 🚤🚤🚤 I don’t understand why, but they kind of turning into a port of all the speed boats. You can smell the gas in the air, not sea breeze. Everyone just drops their clients or transfers from boat-to-boat here. And they also drop you for swimming, yes, swim among all the tourist boats. 🫠🫠 The color of the sea is super-nice, but I think it’s sad to see how we, as humans, treat the nature like this. I don’t recommend you to come at all and would suggest them to just shut down for the nature to recover. 🥲

Crazy breathtaking place! The color of water is crystal clear. It feel like you are hugging by mountains, ocean and sky. Don’t let anyone take the front seat on a boat, save it for yourself. Take your time exploring coral 🪸 and fish. I was there a alone, you don’t necessarily need friends. Just enjoy nature of this place, relax you body, talking yo some fish if you can. Paddling is fun as well but jumping from the boat is thriller 😎. You can also pay extra to get on a smaller boat, they will take you around the lagoon and taking stunning pictures.

Not sure this is the correct location, I thought this lagoon was the inlet on the east coast of Phi Phi Leh island. Anyway, the long tailed boats take you in from your bigger tour boat and give you a little circle of the lagoon. It is cool to be in the shadows of towering limestone cliffs, but the boats are a bit cramped and more just people desperately trying to take a perfect Instagram photo. There are so many boats it's pretty congested.

Definitely a must see. It’s the Thailand you see on pictures. Absolutely breathtaking views. You can only get there on a boat, but it’s a short trip from anywhere in Phi Phi and long tail boats are not too expensive to arrange a trip there. There is a lot of boats there at all times but it’s not that big of a problem. You can still snorkel and take amazing photos there. Highly recommend to see it!

Day tour of the Phi Phi islands.. with a scheduled stop here in the deeper end of the lagoon.. free swimming.. no snorkeling as it was too deep.. but the water was pleasant and clear.. making it a refreshing break from the humidity. Note to all .. you have to haul your own weight up the ladder again to get back on board your boat... Otherwise.. spectacular backdrop for diving stunts, selfies and all manner of water related tomfoolery.

This is an absolute must if you are coming to Thailand! The water is absolutely beautiful. Both for swimming and snorkelling. This was part of a 7 island tour we took from Krabi. Easily, my favourite part of the tour and it’s something we will remember forever. There are quite a few boats around as this will likely be a part of many tours but it didn’t bother us!

A lovely (secluded by schedule, due to arriving in the off season and super early in the morning—we went in late “July Rainy Season”) spot for a quick swim. There is a small alcove in the far left corner you can swim into. It’s deep enough to jump off the boat and shallow enough to dive down to the bottom. And as you can see from the video, it’s beautiful even when it rains.

It's great for swimming (not so much for snorkeling as there's not much coral or fish) but the views while you're swimming are absolutely spectacular. The water is as turquoise as it can get, well complemented by the limestones covered in lush greenery.

Very beautiful place. Crystal clear blue water surrounded by mountains. A must visit place when you are in phi phi Island. It is also a good place for snorkeling.overall amazing experience. But there are too many boats and crowded. The view is outstanding. We had a great time there, the boat will stop for 30 min for those who want to swim.

I had the pleasure of visiting Pileh Lagoon in my last trip by a long tail boat, and I must say, it is truly a mesmerizing place. Situated in Phi Phi Lee island, Pileh Lagoon is a popular tourist attraction, and it's not hard to see why. The lagoon is encircled by enormous rocks that add a majestic touch to the already breathtaking scenery. As we approached the lagoon, I couldn't help but be captivated by the crystal clear blue water. The view was simply stunning, like something out of a postcard. Upon arrival, we noticed that tourists were fully immersed in the various activities available. Some were joyfully swimming in the refreshing waters, while others were snorkeling and discovering the vibrant marine life beneath the surface. A few adventurous souls were even kayaking. The picturesque surroundings offered countless opportunities for photography enthusiasts like us. We eagerly took advantage of the scene, capturing beautiful shots on the deck of our boat. The combination of the radiant blue waters and the imposing rocks served as a breathtaking backdrop for our pictures, creating unforgettable memories. Pileh Lagoon is undeniably a must-visit destination for anyone exploring Phi Phi Lee island. Its sheer natural beauty and the array of activities available make it an ideal spot for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. Whether you're swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, or simply admiring the awe-inspiring scenery, this place will leave you in awe.

Pi Leh Lagoon is a breathtaking natural wonder located in Maya Bay, Thailand. The crystal-clear turquoise waters, surrounded by towering limestone cliffs, create a stunning backdrop that is truly unforgettable. The lagoon is accessible only by boat, which adds to the sense of adventure and excitement of visiting this hidden gem. Visitors to Pi Leh Lagoon can swim, snorkel, or simply relax and take in the beauty of the surroundings. The waters are teeming with colorful fish and other marine life, and the underwater scenery is just as impressive as the view from above. While Pi Leh Lagoon is undoubtedly a must-visit destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers, it is important to note that the area has been impacted by overtourism in the past. As a result, authorities have implemented measures to limit the number of visitors to the area to help protect the fragile ecosystem and allow it to recover. Overall, if you have the opportunity to visit Pi Leh Lagoon and do so in a responsible and sustainable manner, it is definitely worth it. The beauty of this natural wonder is truly awe-inspiring and will leave you with memories that last a lifetime.

If you are in search of a trie slice of paradise, look no further than phi leh bay island l. From the moment i set foot on phi leh bay island, i was captivated by its breathtaking beauty. The beaches powdery white sand and crystal clear water are a testament to nature unparalleled srtistry. These tours offer opportunities for kayaking, snorkeling and hiking. Travelers should note that while the island offer a sence of seclusion, its advisable to plan a day trip or guided tour than an overnight stay. Phi Leh Bay island is true tropical paradise that expected all my expectations. Phi leh bay island is an absolute must visit destination.

Pi Leh Bay, also known as Pi Leh Lagoon, is a stunning natural wonder located in the southern part of Thailand. This secluded bay is accessible by boat from nearby Phi Phi Island, and is a popular destination for tourists looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The bay is surrounded by towering limestone cliffs, which give it a unique and impressive appearance. The water is crystal clear, and the sand is white and powdery. Swimming is allowed in certain areas, but visitors are advised to be careful as the currents can be strong. During my visit to Pi Leh Bay, I was struck by its serene and tranquil atmosphere. The lack of crowds and noise made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The scenery was breathtaking, and I spent hours just taking in the views and exploring the area. One of the highlights of my visit to Pi Leh Bay was the snorkeling. The water was teaming with colorful fish, and I was able to get up close and personal with them. The underwater landscape was just as impressive as the above water one, with colorful corals and rock formations. Overall, I highly recommend a visit to Pi Leh Bay for anyone traveling to Thailand. It is a must-see destination for nature lovers, and the perfect place to experience the beauty and tranquility of this stunning country.

PERFECT FOR PICTURES!! If you don't mind the tourist group and you really just want photos then go. But when you are on the tourist groups beware. We couldn't do scuba diving and all of our activities were cut short because one couple decided to stay on the non eventful first island forever and we were just baking in the hot sun in the front of the boat. But besides that very beautiful and amazing for photos and relaxation once ur on the island!

Definitely must-see. I recommend you to come early morning, at least by 8-9, because after this there are too many boats. It's a nice place for swimming and drone shots. And if you are planning to see Maya Bay as well it's better if you go there at 6-6:30 am, the beach will be empty. We also shot the video that showed where else you can go, and if you in general interested to see the main attractions in Phi Phi but still doubting or choosing where to go first, then type the title on YouTube: "You better learn THIS before going to Phi Phi Island Tour" We made a detailed guide with maps and locations for snorkeling, describing where are the main attractions, which boat is better to choose and which places don't worth your time.

On your way from Phuket to the Phi Phi Leh, this is where you start seeing the mesmerizing turquoise green waters that the Phi Phi islands are known for! Surrounded by limestone hill formations on either side of turquoise green waters enhance the beauty of this place. It is an amazing place to swim and snorkel. It is among the most visited islands and there are always plenty of tour boats carrying visitors eager to experience the beauty of Phi Phi. It has been classified as a National Park by the Thailand government and is very well maintained. Police patrol boats are always around to check the papers of the tour boats and foe the safety of the visitors. It can be easily accessed by speedboats from Phuket and Krabi.

One of the most beautiful places in the world is this lagoon. It's like this is a piece of paradise. Sandy beaches are like white snow. Tree-covered mountains protrude from the sea. It is a spectacular sight. Here you can swim or snorkeling. The water here is crystal clear and clean.

We booked a long boat at the pier, to take us to viking cave and pi leh bay. He stopped in several spots along the way, where we took pictures and stopped for swimming and snorkelling. 3 hours was more than enough if you dont go to maya bay, because there is no beach to stop at. It costed us 1800 baht. Probably could bargained a little.

  • 5/5 T M. 1 year ago on Google
Absolutely stunning place. As recommended by others you should start early because later on the day you will get to see many boats in the area. If you love snorkelling this is the place you will enjoy most. Perfect place to take lots of pictures for phi phi island memories.

Very nice sea shore. The water is blue and crystal clear. It's a major tourist attraction in the Phuket area. A lot of boats and local dhows bring tourists to visit this location. Boats stop here for tourists to swim and jump in the water from the boats. It's also a very nice place to take pictures of the mountainous islands and sea shore.

Its a lagoon with blue and crystal clear water. The shallow waters allows you to snorkel, swim and have good time by the ocean. Absolutely breathtaking views. You can only get there on a boat, but it’s a short trip from anywhere in Phi Phi and long tail boats are not too expensive to arrange a trip there.

  • 5/5 Mohammad H. 1 year ago on Google
Gorgeous lagoon in Phi Phi island. You can take a swim in the blue waters! Even if you can't swim just wear a life vest and you can use a rope to guide yourself along the lagoon. This is a must visit! Only downside is it can get pretty busy with lots of tourist boats. But still it is thoroughly enjoyable.

  • 5/5 Nayan M. 1 year ago on Google
It’s an amazing view point where the speed boats and ferries usually park on the water and you just go overboard the boat into this lagoon. There are also options for kayaks and long tail boats which you can opt for from your speed boats and they can take you to other spots near to this lagoon. You don’t actually step on any land but always stay on either on your boats or in the sea. It’s a great experience and one should totally visit this place. Totally recommended and a must visit place if you are in Thailand.

This place is unbelievably beautiful 🤩 You have to see this place to believe if such thing exist on this planet. I was mind blown with clarity and underwater marine life. This is going to stay with me for my whole life and would love to visit this place again. Would encourage anyone visiting to take longtail boat tour and do snorkeling

Awesome place. I advise you to try to book the early morning trip to maya bay in order to get there with the least amount of boats possible to elevate your experience. I did that and when we reach the lagoon, there was only on long tail boat there. It was incredible! When we left 30m later there were already 5 boats and more coming.. No drone allowed unless you have a permit (I’ve tried to get one but really hard to get info online and no guide could point you to right direction)

Phi phi tour is amazing , snorkeling is great in clear water, with lots of colourful fishes viewing experience, the beach is very clean , crystal clear water, white sand . A great place to relax . Don't forget to put a lot of sunscreen on Your face and body. Get wet and enjoy , do not carry lot of clothes or bags with you. Speed boat option is good , a more private tour can be through the long tail boat, but slow.
