A picture spot on river front in Krabi. The sculpture has become a reference point. The area around it has been developed as picnic spot frequented by locals as well as tourists. It is nice place to spend some time in evening. Went for my early morning walk during my stay in Krabi.

Stopped by here on the way back from Wat Tam Suea. Really well done and a real hotspot that you shouldn't miss when you're in Krabi Town.

Nice sculpture against a nice background, but nothing more. The small Thai market with lots of delicious things is more interesting in itself.

This iconic sculpture is located across from the Black Crab Night Market on the Riverwalk. There's a square beside it where events are held on weekends and holidays. The town really comes alive around this sculpture. Seems to hold a significant meaning to the town. Day or night it's worth stopping by for a quick photo.

The sculptures are nice and all, but what's really amazing is the view behind it. There's a beautiful view of the hills where a cave is located. The cave can be reached by one of the boats nearby the sculptures. Definitely worth taking that boat, because it seems to be the only way to reach it.

Pretty good view... The crab itself is waiting there for you to take pics with him, not to fry and eat him. Though you are welcome to try, haha. There is a forest across the river and the water is clean. Check the pic out. I took the liberty to capture some for the reference. It is nothing like those island hopping views but for a city side view, it is worth it. Excellent place to relax while sipping inexpensive smoothies with your partner. Would highly recommend it. Give it a try and enjoy!

This sculpture is beside the Krabi River. A scenic area and a short walk from here is where one can hire a long tail boat for a ride along the Krabi River

Crab statue in Krab-i city. A large crab statue depicting the inhabitants of Pak Nam. Located on the banks of the river, this statue has become an easily recognizable landmark in the city. Suitable for marking meeting locations for new people. Especially because it's close with Krabi night market.

Nice view of the river. Cool breezes. Good for kids but for elder people it’s the view and peaceful environment not the statue.

It is a cement sculpture, probably spun with some kind of metal, maybe brass or copper, I'm not sure, but if you go during noon the weather will be very hot. It is recommended to go in the evening so that it's not hot and the scenery is beautiful. There's a lot, but there's only one point where you can take photos and play, which is the check-in point.

It's a landmark in Krabi. You must check in when you're in Krabi. In the evening it should be more beautiful.

Beautiful place, with a street food market bang opposite it with a lot of options. If you want to come here as a tourist don't, only because there are a lot of more interesting places to see in krabi.

Well, it is a sculpture of a mad crab, that is about it. It is one of these made up tourist places that you have to visit. Otherwise nobody would know that you have been in Krabi. The leaning rocks in the background are amazing though.

Crabs sculptured in metal! How someone could give it less than 5 stars is beyond me... Great landmark, both night markets are close by. If you go south there are more sculptures and you'll get to one of the mentioned night markets.
