It's located right next to the beach, so it's very nice and the sea right in front of it is very clean. The swimming pool is so deep that it is difficult for children to play, but adults who swim can enjoy it more comfortably. Breakfast is clean and people are kind. The facility is old, but the location covers everything. I definitely recommend it.

The Golden Beach Resort on Aonang Beach in Krabi, on the west coast of Thailand, is one of the best resorts I've ever stayed in. Though I suppose that feeling was due to the fact that they gave away our economy room so upgraded us to the very best suite in the resort. Breakfast was included, and it was quite delicious. Our other meals we ate out at some of the many great restaurants. The staff of the resort was very friendly and hospitable. They speak English, and the front desk girl was extremely beautiful. That's always a plus for me. The resort is just across the beach road, so just a few seconds to the water. But the best thing about the resort is its pool. The scene is so beautiful, with a stone mountain behind it, lush garden with palm trees and flowers, stone elephants spitting into the pool, plenty of lounge chairs - total luxury. You won't be disappointed.

Even though the beach is right in front but it's far from everything else. The room smells. It took them almost 20 minutes to check us in because they couldn't locate our booking through Agoda. It's 2000 baht starting for the low price room but a little cheaper if book through Agoda. I would rather stay at a hotel that has easy access road to the hotel and somewhere near Walking Street. Also, no LIFT, good luck if you have luggage. We're staying only one night and then off to a better hotel. August 11, 2023

Just wow. What a location. There is big Rocky hill beside the Beach resort. The photos of that comes fabulous while you click from swimming pool. The swimming pool is nicely decorated and the dinner place is just beside the beach road so you will get nice sea breeze. We liked it so much.

This property near to ao nang beach. Clean room infront of the swimming pool. However the pillow need to dry it under the sunlight to get rid of the musty smell.

A beautifully positioned hotel right next to the beach The rooms are well furnished with very large beds. The swimming pool is lovely and never seemed too busy. Breakfast is good with a large variety of cuisines. The one thing that needs some attention is that the burners under the hot dishes are frequently not lit with the result that the food has gone cold. The staff are very friendly and check in/out was simple and efficient Overall, this is a good, value for money hotel and I would recommend it

The food is at best - ok. The housekeeper accidentally took my swim goggles. It took me a while to get them back. When checking out, I almost forgot that I had paid a 3000 baht deposit when I checked in. They did not remind me. They just gave me a bill. Fortunately I found the receipt in my wallet.

The bed is hard as a rock and only place I've encountered where they charge for shampoo, conditioner, and soap. We try to leave earlier but they don't allow it and will still charge you. Buyer be aware!

Booked last minute on 22th of Jan 2023 and stayed the same night at this resort. Booked a room for 3 persons but checked in with four persons. The hotel charged me 100bhat for an extra bed. The place is quite nice, with nice beach/ mountain scenery. The car park is very limited and the way to go to the hotel entrance is quite small and so many people are walking thru it. The road actually looks like a walkway rather than a road. Other than that, the hotel is quite nice.the location and the scenery you get isπŸ‘πŸ‘.

Sprawled right next to Aonang beach, this property has a dreamy feel to it. We loved the outdoor sitting area, with wooden chairs and tables. We found the rooms decent but the bathroom was a bit compact with the shower/bath tub area. We were not too happy with our ground floor room but loved the location, buffet breakfast, pool, and the overall ambience of the resort.

My favourite resort. Super clean, amazing friendly staff. The pool Is super stunning and huge. The views from the pool and most rooms is incredibly too. Super close to the Main Street but away from the busyness. Just perfect . I will hopefully be back next year.

999 baht walk in so it would have been 250 cheaper to book online. The location of the hotel is excellent, right on the beach kind of and right near the main street. The room is nice size and appears to be refurbished, but still has a really cool looking floor and a tile color in the bathroom that just looks awesome. At night the hot water was just warm, but in the morning it was back to hot. The air conditioning was great and kept the room cool. The bed was not bad but it was not good either, it was soft enough to sleep, and the four pillows made finding one the right height easy. Just spent a night here, but I'd stay here again.

They wanted to give us a very bad room at first. Had to discuss for ages to get a better room. They were not very friendly and seem to charge extra wherever they can. Be careful here.

Great location. Can hear roar of waves in pool view room inside. Cliff view swimming pool is awesome. The breakfast quality and sitting outside along the beach was just good enough for the money. The pool keeper was very kind and helpful. Shower water pressure and temperature were the best!! But wifi connection was not quite good and the bed frame was old. All in all, it's not bad.

Fantastic location on a very quiet Soi and only a few feet from the beach. Rooms were clean and spacious and very well appointed. Massive pool area, with many loungers. Plentiful breakfast, although we chose to eat away from the restaurant it was always well attended. Staff were extremely polite and helpful.

Slightly better than average experience there. The location and the room (size, setup) was 5 star but the breakfast selection and cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Came across mosquitoes, flies, ants on breakfast items, lizard in the room during my 3 day stay there. The staff was very cordial and the service was above average as well.

Great location, excellent buffet breakfast. Clean basic rooms with everything you need. Great large swimming pool, although many guests feel the need to claim sun beds at 'silly-o-clock'!!

The rooms are ok but not really have the amenities of 4 star hotel. The safe doesn't work properly and it's time to change I guess. If you are a beach lover then the location of the hotel is best.

Excellent location πŸ‘Œ I would recommend to stay at golden beach resort πŸ‘πŸ€© We had to leave for airport at 5am and the staff was very thoughtful to get our breakfast packed very neatly. We ate that only πŸ’―πŸ‘after reaching airport. WiFi does not work properly guys.

Pretty expensive for a mediocre resort. The pool area is beautiful, the grounds are stunning, location is amazing. The restaurant ruins this resort. The breakfast is bad. The places next door have better breakfasts and it’s a short walk to go get a fresh fruit smoothie. Dinner is busy, food is slow, and it’s just ok at best. Don’t go out of your way to eat here, not worth it. After spending what I’ve spent at this resort and staying for 8 days definitely not worth it. Lots of other places around which are cheaper and offer better services then this resort.

We stayed on second floor balcony room overlooking the pool. The room was spacious and clean but dated. The bed was very hard as most of them are in Thailand. Location was amazing right on the beach front. The pool was clean and quiet with sun loungers available every time we went. The staff were helpful and efficient. The breakfast was good with variety and the option to have an omelette or poached eggs with bacon freshly cooked for you. A great way to start the morning looking out over the bay. We ate at the restaurant one night and it was ok but nothing special.

Had an evening meal with the family as it looked like a nice place and well positioned opposite the beach. The staff were nice enough but from the start seemed to be struggling with people complaining. There was a disappointing lack of availability of dishes and drinks. Poor quality cocktails. Food average. They let other guests' kids run around the restaurant terrace area shrieking. I would not recommend it as there are so many other good places to eat in Ao Nang.

Room : they clean and change everything daily Location : next to you is beach, walking distance Shops : Need to walk about 300-400 cross the road for shops Cafe : inhouse cafe dinner was good! Must try Breakfast : simple food. Staffs : abit hard to communicate, but, some are really good on helping be polite with them. Environment : peaceful Notice : careful with things inside your room, you pay for the damage, fair.

The stay was pleasant & good as it was near to Ao Nang, with a beautiful scenery and swimming pool! The staff were also very helpful & friendly. However, within the resort and room itself can be quite dark. And it is a bit of a hassle to walk around to check for things without some form of brighter light shining around. The toilet also had an unpleasant smell that could not be gotten rid of despite multiple washes. There were birds kept around our villas as well. So it can be quite noisy in the morning! Even though they are so cute.

Location is excellent Rooms - I had sea view jacuzzi villa and although it was good the lighting in the room could have been better. In night 8t feels too gloomy. This is the issue with entire resort. Overall dim lighting. Service - very slow
