This could be a wonderful hotel if the bar up the road would gain some respect. The rooms, beds, staff and facilities are wonderful but DO NOT STAY here if you want to sleep. Every night, the bar starts playing music so loud that it can be heard from kilometers away. There is no way anyone at the bar can actually be enjoying the level they have the music at. This goes on until 3:30am every night. Our room is as far from the bar as it gets. With the doors and curtains closed, fan as high as it goes and a sound machine going, the music is still shaking our room. From my understanding from other local businesses, the bar owner is doing this as a flex to show they can do whatever they want. It’s really sad because this could be a very nice place to stay. When we first got here, we planned to extend our stay but with the noise we will be happily leaving.

We paid our holiday for 4 stars hotel, so we expect something better. 1. The room wasn’t clean as expected especially bathroom. 2. The floor was so slippy to walk (what kind of cleaning detergent they use) 3. The service wasn’t that great. I would say just for some staffs. They seems to treat differently between Thai and foreigner. 4. We got a room that looks quite old and AC is so noisy. Therefore, we ask for changing the room but the staff denied to do so. She told us that she will call a technician to check, but nothing fix. It was still so loud and we couldn’t sleep. We asked and inform about this noisy AC problem for more than 3 times (even we turn it off, it is still so loud). We had to stay there for 2 nights. We had a bad sleep and so tired. Thus, we asked another staff and she just offered us new room, which is a bit better. At least when we turn off the AC, it doesn’t sound like we are sleeping in the air plane. A person who is sensitive for noise, please be aware of staying in this hotel, AC is NOISY!!!!!! You just need to switch it off. 5. Breakfast isn’t that good. One morning I found plastic in the noodle. 6. The only good thing is it is well located, close to the beach and shopping area.

The rooms at this hotel are spacious and well-maintained, equipped with all the essential amenities for a comfortable stay. The facilities throughout the hotel meet expectations and contribute to an overall satisfying experience. However, there is room for improvement when it comes to staff training. Some staff members seemed to lack knowledge in basic areas of service, which could be enhanced with additional training. Despite this minor issue, the hotel provides good value, and I would recommend it to others."

Small room and looks nothing like the photos they advertised. Dirty and cheap material for the room in general. Only have parking space for maybe 6 cars. I had to park on the street. Huge disappointment. Do yourself a favour and pay a bit more at a professionally managed place. Their only lift was soaking wet from guests using the pool. Oh, their “WiFi” also not working. Compared to places the same range this is possibly the worst I got for the price I paid. And it’s just packed everywhere. Pool, restaurant etc. Zero privacy.

One of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in all over the world. Our room was absolutely filthy, from bedroom to bathroom and balcony. The bathroom fixtures were rusty and broken, and the counter top was constantly drenched in tepid water. The toilet bowl and seat were not cleaned at all throughout our two week stay. I won’t even describe the condition it was in. And on some days, we were not given toilet paper and had to buy our own from the nearby convenience store. The clothes rack in the balcony is coated in brown rust and the floor littered with dirt, dust and grime. You couldn’t step on it without wearing shoes or sandals. Even though we asked a number of times for our bedsheets to be changed during our two week stay, both in person and by displaying the please change our bedsheets tag, the housekeeping staff ignored our requests and pleas. I ended up developing acne from pressing my face against the dirty pillow case, day in, day out. The rooms are also really cramped. We had to sit on the bed to let the other pass the aisle to get to the bathroom. To add insult to injury, the breakfast buffet is beneath the standard of even a mom and pop bed and breakfast inn. The tea pot is often empty or the tea is cold. Food that is finished is never replenished and you find yourself scraping the bottom of a container to get a few grains of baked beans. The chicken porridge is constantly stone cold too and you can barely take two spoons of it. Once the bread ran out and when I asked the staff if she could refill it, she just shrugged her shoulders and said they had no more. And the toaster for the bread caught fire and a guest had to rush to shut down the machine before it was too late. This list could run on, I haven’t even started on the incessant noise from the turbine engine of an aircon in our room and along the corridor. Simply appalling.

The hotel from outside seems pretty well. However, in the inside the walls need to paint and fix it. The restroom was not cleaned all days. The breakfast was acceptable. Bed comfortable. The morning that we left, we needed a taxi and the person in charge at that time 5am, didn't help us to find a taxi. He didn't take care of the customer, it was a bad experience. We went to the hotel that is in front of the hotel and from the minute one they helped a foreign and provided us a taxi in 15 minutes. This is an example of how they treat the costumer. We expected more of the hotel for the price that we payed. The bar at the road put the music too loud and have difficulty to sleep, is so disrespectful. They need to improve to become better in Ao nang beach. Next time we will go to other one that treats better.

The room was pretty poor. The bathroom had ants crawling through it. The shower had no hot water, and the rainfall showerhead was completely clogged so it was unusable. The bathtub was laughably small. The staff was friendly but it took ~20 minutes to check in, and another 20 minutes to check out. Really needs to be optimized. When I stay at an international hotel chain, I show my ID and they give me the key. I don't understand why it takes so long here. There were two positives of the stay: Awesome pool, and awesome bar in the parking lot (worth visiting even if you're not a guest of the hotel)

Would highly recommend staying at this hotel. Staff: super friendly, welcoming & so happy to help and assist you with anything you need. Facilities: good gym with a small choice or CV equipment and a small free weights area but perfect for a good gym workout. Clean swimming pool with an abundance of sun loungers! There’s a mini bar at the pool that a lovely member of staff runs throughout the day. You can order food & drinks from the pool. Room: the room was spotless & very tidy. Our room, without asking, was cleaned and made up every single day with fresh towels and bed sheets every day. The floors were swept and cleaned daily as well. Location: perfect location! It’s right in the middle of the Main Street and everything is a short walk away including the beach. There are plenty of good places to eat nearby and lots of great places for coffee as well. They have a little bar outside of the hotel that’s owned by the hotel where you can have drinks, it’s very cute! Overall a really great experience and would stay here again if we were to visit Krabi again. Thank you BlueSotel!☺️

Great place to stay! Location is not too far from beach, with lots of shops around. Our room was facing the pool, but it was fairly quiet, away from the noise from the street. Breakfast was a decent selection, more Western and less local. Room is clean and equipped with hot water, although the bath tub water is slow to fill up the tub. Reminder to avoid year end monsoon season

Very comfortable room, location was ideal to restaurants, the beach and massage parlours. I was however bothered by the Thai bar about 100m away from the hotel that played loud music until 2am. I stayed on the 7th floor and yet had a hard time falling asleep. It's nothing the hotel can do about this but if you are a light sleeper, be warned. Secure parking for motorbikes

The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk to the beach and with plenty of shops/cafés and restaurants nearby. We did find it a bit noisy during the evenings due to such close proximity to the street, but nothing that ear plugs won’t fix. The large bed in the room was comfy. The balcony had a decent set of chairs as well which is always a nice touch! The bathroom could do with a deep clean and it looked/felt a bit tired. We also had quite a significant problem with flies (what we think were drain flies) in the bathroom. My partner spoke to reception who were helpful and friendly. The cleaning staff came to the room and I think they were unsure what to do. We asked if they could put something down the drain to deter the flies and they used some insect spray. However, the flies kept coming back. We ended up having to buy some cleaning products to put down the drains which stopped them for 2-3 days but they came back on the last day of our stay. Housekeeping were very apologetic about this and I cannot fault their help, but the flies would definitely put me off staying in this hotel again. It’s really not good enough for what is meant to be a four star hotel.

We loved the staff, super helpful and friendly. AE, the Captain was extremely attentive and always nice to us. Super captain! The only down side was that we thought the room bathroom required a big more maintenance. Small details that would make a difference, such as the shower cap was broken, but still comfortable. Room was spacious and comfortable. We loved breakfast and the calming music playing every morning :)

The rooms were clean and well-sized. The staff in the hotel were very helpful and service from the counter staff to restaurant wait staff were top notch. The breakfast buffet spread was good. The hotel has a nice pool. The real plus of this hotel is its fantastic location right on the Main Street and within walking distance of food and supplies.

Comfortable, clean and spacious room. Perfect! The little fitness room isn't much but it was still very useful. Location is amazing as you're right in the middle of everything and don't hear any noise once you're in your room! 10 min walk to the beach.

Fantastic hotel in a perfect location. Rooms are large, with a massive, soft king bed with plenty of pillows. Big bathroom with a rainwater shower & bath. I was in a pool access room which you pay more for but it’s worth every cent. You get a nice sized deck with two sun lounges which is perfect to laze around on before taking a swim in the pool which is literally on your door step. A great pool area with a swim up bar. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Was a good experience right from the seat with my hotel transfer, reception was quick & easy & the cleaning staff were all fantastic. Highly recommend this hotel & it will be my first choice next time I’m in Krabi

The hotel is great for the price you pay. Amazing location, just 10 min walk to the beach; clean rooms; front desk people were always happy to help with any issue we had; noise isolation is good (we had a room with a pool view on the 3rd floor); AC in the room worked great. Would definitely come back 👍

Very lovely clean, new and tech savvy. The staff seemed to have a bit of a hard time communicating at times though. 2min walk to one of the most beautiful beaches. The amenities are lovely and the little personal touches make you feel very comfortable. Beautiful hotel and overall lovely experience.

Make sure you don't get this hotel confused with the BlueSotel SMART which is in a different location. Room was good but a little tired and worn in parts. Breakfast buffet was good. Most staff had TRAINEE badges on - be nice to them, they're trying their best and are keen to help, but they're leaning. Pity that the massage shop was closed. Pool area is nice and the water very clean. The room service menu is ridiculously over-priced... 180 Baht for a can of Coke and 150 Baht for a bucket of ice? No way. That's pure greed by the management and I didn't order anything on principle. Overall, a decent stay but not outstanding.

Impeccable hotel with a fair price-performance ratio. good rooms, friendly staff, well-kept pool and central location. A clear recommendation from me. Special thanks to AE capain for always perfect service! A small criticism, even at the beginning of opening time the food at the breakfast buffet is already cold.... overall clearly 5 stars from me

My room was well appointed with everything I needed for a 6 day stay, good breakfast with a good across the range selection, the bed was very comfortable for me especiallly as I have cancer in the spine. The only small downside for me personally is that the fridge hasn't got a temperature control so my drinks not as cold as I like. Staff very helpful and friendly I would stay here again. Easy walking distance to the beach and most attractions.

Blending modern luxury with serene beach vibes. The rooms offer unparalleled comfort, and the fantastic pool area is perfect for relaxation or a refreshing swim. The food is great, they have Halal food also. What truly sets Blue Sotel apart is its staff, especially AE and Sam, whose friendliness and hospitality are outstanding. They ensure every guest feels welcome and cared for, enhancing the overall experience. Blue Sotel is highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable stay

Really comfortable. Good for travelers, remote workers and digital nomads - Wifi is stable and super fast. Facilities are great and the pool is very big and comfortable. They had couple of issues with my rooms: Refrigerator that doesn't work, and no hot water on another room. Both were fixed very quickly. The only problem with the pool view room is that the pool was really dirty for couple of days.

The place is great. Good amenities, they have a pool bar, street bar, and a good restaurant. The rooms are also good. The service however put me off to begin with. The check was very late even after reaching the hotel at 4. They took atleast an hour to give me my room. I saw all other customers check in with face the same issue. Another instance was the room service taking almost half a day to attend to us. Otherwise the later half my experience was pleasant

The rooms are so dirty and moldy, with spiders on the corners ( check the attached photos). The bed sheets are not clean, it’s a nightmare. Couldn’t sleep for two nights, some pumps or machines or whatever working the whole night and a noisy, dirty A/C. You really need to worry about your health staying is this hotel.

In May I stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. We booked 2 separate rooms with a common door between the rooms. We each had one room in our possession when the hotel charged us for a single stay but double payment was made for breakfast. What was payable was one payment per person. Second, the clerk at the reception was very unkind and that we asked when the departure time is the return which is at 10 am at the latest and if there is more left she will charge us an extra day's stay for both rooms. A couple of tourists were standing in front of us who asked all the questions and she answered them that the room had to be vacated by 11 am. When we asked why she told us that the room had to be vacated at 10 o'clock, she laughed and disappeared from the reception. Our hospitality experience was damaged by the fact that she, as a receptionist, lied and also managed to charge us supplements for the breakfasts. When we commented to the receptionists, no attempt was made here to return our money and apologize. Pay attention to those inaccuracies and an account that does not really respect such a hotel.

Simple and super clean hotel. Worth every penny. Super humble receptionist. They take all kind of payment. Cards, cash , advance booking. Rooms are clean and big. Their bed, it’s heaven. So comfy. Uninterrupted sleep for 8 hours. Comes with big bath tube. Must stay hotel. Very near to massage, 7/11, food street, ATM. It’s really in centre. Ample place for parking.

I was going to book BlueSotel Smart but by mistake booked this one. This hotel DOES NOT have good views on the mountain or pool on the rooftop and overall is not as nice than other BlueSotel. My room is OK, I had early check-in (thanks for it), but the room is a bit humid, bath and tiles have mold, water tap needs fixing. Oh, and my bed was a little bit damp haha. I wish I would be more careful and booked another hotel for that price 🥲 Oh, and the booking is not refundable… Update: the bed dried up. It was very soft and I’ve slept very well. Cleaning is good, I guess, the checked me 2-3 times in a one day :)

I checked in on 14 Apr and the they said they would send my luggage up but just left it there for 45 minutes. I picked it up myself. Room had no WiFi, shower was lukewarm and low pressure, kettle was dirty, and there was leftover hair from the previous guest in the room. The only good thing about the hotel is the location which is convenient.

Very nice staff. Very nice service mind. Very nice hotel with a very good location, you can walk around the hotel to find many kinds of dinner. The parking lot is quite low but the staff will help you to find the parking for you. In front of the hotel has a bar, you can enjoy your drink before bedtime.

It's dirty and service is not good. They act like they are doing you a favour by merely doing their jobs, kinda. Had to look at that eyesore of laundry and almost bumping into it until I asked them to move it. They also offered guest free chicken satay and drinks but I wasn't offered anything at check in so probably racist too. I requested a robe, slippers and a toothbrush since there were none in the room and this made the front desk personnel visibly flustered. Anyway, it's kinda my fault. I've stayed at both bluesotels and usually a night is ok but more than that, no. Just don't do it. In fact just don't even come here. For 1100 baht and no toothbrush, robe or slippers it is overpriced for the entire Kingdom of Thailand. I also loved my stay at Ava Sea but it is more expensive these days. But it's right next door and they are friendly and offered many amenities, at least they did last time. Worth looking into though.

Bathroom was disappointing, shower head holder broken, low pressure. Breakfast was a typical bland buffet which was often so busy that there were no seats available. I'd expect a better experience for the price.

The barista has a great personality. Excellent location wise as it is strategically erected giving you access to anything that you might need. Rooms are cleaned and smells fresh everyday.

March 2022: 1050THB with good Breakfast for two. Good breakfast with freshly brewed coffee. Mountain View from the room is spectacular. Newly refurbished rooms, good design. Close to everything. The only issues - small parking space and long checkout.
