Couple of things to note when you are booking this resort. 1. The location is not that close to Ao nang beach. The road to go to the beach is dark and takes about 25 mins at least to go to the main ao nang beach. However, its safe in Krabi so walking in the dark isn't really unsafe. 2. The thing about the resort is that the front desk staff, the first point of contact with the resort is not a very friendly experience. The front desk staff is rude and they kind of mock you. I don't why but their vibes are not that great and it felt like they were doing us a favor. We certainly don't expect to be treated differently. On the other hand, the breakfast team and the housekeeping team were just great. They were so welcoming and so friendly. 3. We ordered food from the resort. The steak cost almost 500 baht but it was cold and frozen. Also the grilled chicken breast was hard and did not taste good. We didn't order any more food from the resort. The drink portion was good though and the price of the drinks are affordable. 4. Another thing which was kind of irritating was the adaptability of the staff. They would not budge for anything. We have stayed in some great hotels and in this trip too we stayed in a 4 star hotel in bangkok. But their behavior towards the guests and the Krabi resort's behavior towards the guest is exactly the opposite. Cant believe these 2 hotels are in the same country. They would not cooperate with you for anything no matter how small it is. This was our overall experience with Deevana Krabi resort. And one thing that I know for sure is we are not going to stay in this resort again. And certainly would advise others the same as well.

Nice modern rooms, comfortable bed. Clean. Our room was in the back and was a bit of a hike, make sure to get a room in the main part of the hotel unless you need the exercise.

Bet that due to covid it was like a ghost resort, nothing was open and the mood was littlebit eery. Our room was way back and they said it was the best room, but window view was blocked by the wall. The staff were really nice occasionally, but also some times it felt like they didn't care. Plus points for very clean room! But overall it felt littlebit cold place.

Excellent place to stay when you are in krabi. Especially for families. Limited Indian food options. Also the breakfast menu is limited compared to that of other deevana hotels. Unfortunately you don't get water easily. Apart from the daily quota of two. You will need to buy water from restaurant 😔

Great place to relax. We got an amazing room with a pool. Breakfasts are excellent. Staff unobtrusive and very nice. :) The hotel is about 10 min out of town but a pleasant walk along the road.

Overall, a great deal. We paid around USD 95 for 2 nights. The room was clean and spacious. We found the location of the hotel quite good. Its quiet but not very far from the action. Take a stroll for10-15 minutes and you will find yourself at the pier and the walking street. Breakfast has a decent spread. They have 4-5 vegan and vegetarian options (though we loved their fried chicken and basil).

We've stayed for 3 nights at first, but then decided to take one night extra, due to comfort received here. Staff and management are great and really helpful. They're dealing with your concerns immediately. We enjoyed the outside bath, which is great after long day of traveling. Beach basket does the trick. You don't have to be worried about extra blankets. Rooms had everything which we needed. Breakfast were tasty, you can take whatever you like. It's really beautiful at night, the view is amazing.

The Resort seems to be operating jointly with Deevana Plaza at the moment (due to COVID?) so I'll only review the room and pool as I don't know what is actually the Resort in regular times. The property itself is long and narrow, with rooms on one side of a path (fence/ravine/forest on the other). We saw a basic room on the second floor by the lower pool, and though it was nicely decorated, it was under the eaves so there was little useable space, and it was very dark. We upgrade to a deluxe room, which meant a much longer walk up the path/hill and up steps (ramps are there but they're very steep). The second pool up by the deluxe rooms is quieter and has an infinity edge; also a bar and restaurant but they seemed closed (COVID?). It's a pretty easy walk to the main parts of Ao Nang, past restaurants, etc. Our deluxe room was beautifully decorated, with polished concrete floors, an open bathroom sink area with wooden counters, pretty decor touches, and a generous bathroom. Lots of amenities such as flashlight, body lotion/shower gel/shampoo in refillable containers, kettle, iron/board, robes, beach bag, etc. The room also had a large round tub in the entry/foyer area which had bubble bath and a shower head, in case you wanted an outdoor soak. Our room, 602 was up stairs and didn't look into any other rooms, so it was quite private. Breakfast was at the Plaza and was an awesome buffet with a ton of choice, including omelet station, hearty breads, cappuccinos, and lots of vegetarian options.

The room is good but there are many flaws in design. They provide iron box and table which I found necessary in every resort. There is beach towel with carry bags. The staffs were nice. But, We can't control the AC from bed and have to walk to bathroom door to control AC. The view from balcony is balconies of other 15 to 20 rooms. We won't have any privacy if balcony curtain is open and everyone from other rooms can see what's going on in our room. In bathroom, wet area doesn't have a door. They won't provide toothbrush and paste (but it's ok and can be managed).

Great hotel if you wish to be secluded and at the same time close to the beach for trips and sun: Perks: - One of the bigger buffet I have seen with a lot of vegetarians options (don't know what other reviewers are complaining about) - Although the rooms don't have any windows they are in great condition since they have been refurbished two years ago and I didn't spend a lot of time in them apart from after dawn. Therefore I did not consider it an issue. - The staff was friendly and it was nice and quiet. Now let's come to the minor inconveniences: - Rainshower in the room should urgently be descaled since its dripping out the side and not out of the shower head - Pool was under maintenance however I did not mind since we could use the one from the other sister hotel... and I did not come for the pool. However, there should be a reduction in fee since the location of the pool could be considered a unique selling point (UPDATE: Pool is working again) Conclusion: I recommend this hotel to all beach lovers who want an up-to-date, clean, and secluded sanctuary with low to no noise apart from nature :)

Tbh iv visited many different countries and this is one of those hotels where it makes you second guess your decision of staying... First of all its quite far from the beach and its got a huge entrance but most of their "cottage" like rooms were far more in the depth of the jungle with vry risky /rough stair ways nd i wouldnt recommend any one with leg problems to visit. The cottage rooms has no windows nd the guests might feel suffocated, the rooms are weirdly congested... The bathroom doors hv little to no privacy and is positioned in a rather awkward way. Nd it may seem a little over priced to some guests And a another problems is the bugs..specially mosquitoes... Since it has a alot of trees around it. bugs and insects can be a bit of a problem.but overall for all the Nature lovers..its great it is surrounded by greens and the service is great id give it a 5/10.

The most comfortable beds and sheets we experienced in South East Asia at the same quality hotels. Good variety at the breakfast buffet. The rooms were clean but the rest of the property could have used regular cleaning

Breakfast for vegetarians, was not to the mark and there should be fly repellent as the room was near the water drain. The rest was good enough

Very nice resort. Very calm and quit place. Walkable distance to beach and night market. There is a indian restaurant in the resort and plenty of Indian restaurants nearby. Good staffs. There is two or more pools available. Breakfast was good. Spa available. We had a wonderful experience there.

I think the place has good potential however, many things are broken, worn down or could do with some extra attention. They serve a breakfast buffet that doesn’t really cater for vegetarians. The food selection is poor and they are understaffed during the peak season. My guess is that they used to be really good (as you can see good “bones” of the place) however sadly, they seem to be going backwards and lacking proper management.

Stayed there under group trip arrangement. The buffet is good, a lot of varieties, ballroom dinner is delicious as well. Room is clean. I stayed in Block 5, is a bit far from lobby and the walk way a bit dark towards the end. Located in the middle where to the left is the night market, clubs and massages and to the right is the Landmark market. It's strategic to reach 2 sides from the hotel in walking distance.

It’s a beautiful place for a couple to stay. It’s v calm and the over All feel of th resort is beautiful. Although the width of the swimming is small and the length is huge it makes the experience more beautiful. Would love to visit again . The breakfast menu has a lot of options. For vegan there less options in Krabi as well as phuket . Have seen people giving negative review regarding that , which not the resort fault .

There were ants in room upon arrival, Bed sheets were clean but had holes, milk in coffee machines was bad and smelly though they did change it next day. guest are provided only 2 small bottles of water and then you need to fill them up from reception. Location is far from beach.

Lets start with positive: Friendly and service minded Breakfast was served at Plaza - wider range Very few people in pool Got upgraded to room with a window Now for the downsides: Location is a completely dead-end. Yes its calm but dead - Icon hotel close to hotel was closed, ramada next to it - Wow cant believe wynham would put their name to that. And shops right next to it and another smaller hotel closed. Easy-ish to get tuk-tuk to city. Room: we got upgraded to floor room i/o 1st floor room. Room is very small (we are 3 people), very Dark, Air-condition was blowing like crazy, no place for clothing or stuff, bathroom floor floded after shower Pool: 1/5 of 1 of the pools were closed due to broken floor. The beds were dirty. And we found a grab ( not crap🙏) in the pool. We paid 12k bath for 7 nights incl breakfast. Not Great value for Money - and that was for the standard room on 1st floor.

We were put up in the Upper rooms which were conical shape and our head against this top since the height of the wall is only 4 at the ends of the rooms. Otherwise fair.

We have stayed with the plaza and the resort now since 2019. WONDERFUL experience pre-pandemic and post pandemic. Gorgeous rooms, I do prefer the resort because it's like a jungle villa set up versus a hotel. Outstanding staff and great pools to relax in. I loved the tub outside the rooms of the resort. So relaxing. The breakfast was limited compared to pre-pandemic but still great. I would love to stay here anytime we are in Ao Nang!

Stayed here for 4 nights. Buffet Breakfast was delicious , they alternate every 2nd day with a different menu. The hotel was close enough to Ao Nang which we walked to every ight. Took us about 5 minutes, albeit the starting of the road a bit dark. Due to few businesses closing down. The king bed was huge !!!!! Service all lovely. Would highly recommend it for couples.

We booked through travel company so they fixed standard room which is very cosy, not enough space ( like Hut) But I asked for deluxe room but they did not provide me even though I was agreed to pay extra. Room was too small, not even doors for bathroom and toilet just one single door to cover both. Location is near to the beach. Room service is ok but expensive.

No answers to room service , rooms are small with zero view. Pool was not clean and not properly managed. They had two hotels with single front desk which seems to be the reason for poor service. We reached hotel back at 4pm from our day tour and then the room cleaning was being done and we had to wait another 10 minutes at that time.

Most beautiful resort we ever stayed in. Friendly staff and amazing rooms. (We had the luxurious one with bathtub outside). They spray a certain mist at night to prevent muscitos.

Not as good as we hoped. The location spoilt the experience, as it’s definitely a lot more out of the way than it seems to look online or a map. It’s a good 20 minute sweaty walk to Ao Nang beach which isn’t always what you want every trip into Ao Nang. Our room was so far out back, it felt like a journey itself getting to the room from reception. The room was clean, which is a bonus, but it was a struggling to find the balance with the air con either being super powerful, or off as this was it’s two best options. The room itself isn’t anything to be desired over for what we had excepted compared to what we received. It’s a strange time to be here with the linger of Covid, which can be felt all around the hotel in it’s eerie feel and the derelict streets surrounding it. I certainly wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for something that’s central and a bit full of life.

Breakfast is good, neat and clean hotel. Pool is good and staff is friendly as well. Towels are provided for pool and beach separately but that is with other good hotels in Thailand as well. Road cross away from patong beach.

It's a beautiful resort very close Ao Nang Beach & Market hardly 1.2 km. Standard room is bit smaller but clean & beautiful with a small balcony at very reasonable price. You can easily afford deluxe room with bath tub. Resort as a good beautiful swimming pool with pool bar and has a beautiful view at night.Good breakfast options are available.Hotel lobby is very large and relaxing.Staff is supporting.

Very nice. Comfortable rooms, Friendly staff. Very clean. Nice pools. Some of the restaurants and shops nearby are still closed due to the covid closures but tourists are coming back and within a few months I'd think things would be back to normal. We rented a motorbike for the time we were there so its only a few minutes to Ao nang beach and all the bars and restaurants there.

Amazing hotel! We got a room right in front of the restaurant and swimming pool (further up). Some stairs to get to the room but definitely worth it. Comfy bed and amazing bathroom. Pool is nice, even has seating area inside so you can enjoy a cocktail :) staff is friendly, helpful, give you tea on arrival and will take your suitcases up to the room for you. Definitely a great stay for not a lot of money. Close to night market, souvenir shops, beach bars and beach!

The best hotel in Krabi. Everything was excellent especially customer service; and nature around the hotel…

Just checked out of this wonderful resort in Ao Nang! The staff couldn't be more helpful and courteous. The resort is well maintained with 2 nice swimming pools and lovely jungle surroundings. The soi leading here from the main road is quite dark and abandoned at the moment with all the tourist shops closed and only a few other resorts open. The nearest 7-11 is about 10 minutes walk away. This is our second stay at Deevana and we've been very satisfied both times! Highly recommended!
