If
you
are
looking
for
an
actual
4-star
resort
steer
clear
of
this
hotel.
We
just
got
here
and
it
is
way
understaff,
the
staff
barely
acknowledged
us
when
we
got
here,
did
not
provide
us
with
transportation
from
Ao
nang
pier
and
literally
let
us
get
ripped
off/scammed.
Also,
the
rooms
definitely
need
an
update
since
everything
smells
old
and
itās
extremely
hot.
Way
overpriced
also.
So
far
it
has
been
the
worst
part
of
our
trip.
*edit:
Although
it
wasnāt
the
best
hotel
of
our
trip
and
I
still
stand
by
the
fact
that
itās
not
near
being
a
4-star
hotel,
the
location
in
Railay
is
superb.
The
room
was
actually
nice
once
we
opened
the
doors
and
windows
and
let
the
air
conditioner
run
for
a
while.
However
there
were
areas
of
the
room,
like
the
closet,
that
needed
maintenance
and
cleaning,
there
was
no
luggage
caddy,
more
water
needs
to
be
included
in
each
room,
etc.
we
should
not
need
to
call
front
desk
for
these
things.
Also,
if
you
have
guests
coming,
have
the
room
tready
(i.e.
open
it
and
let
the
air
flow
so
it
doesnāt
smell
like
itās
vern
closed
for
years,
turn
on
the
air
conditioner
before
arrival
so
itās
not
a
sauna
when
your
guests
walk
in
the
room,
etc.)
The
hotel
was
definitely
understaffed,
so
the
service
was
poor,
but
itās
clean
and
well
maintained.
There
was
no
golf
cart
in
sight
and
although
we
scheduled
a
drop
off
in
advanced
at
the
pier,
the
luggage
was
carried
by
a
staff
member
in
a
pull
cart
(we
honestly
donāt
mind
walking
to
the
pier,
but
donāt
say
thereās
a
golf
cart
service
if
itās
not
true).
Anyhow,
I
believe
the
hotel
needs
to
get
it
together
when
it
comes
to
guest
arrival
since
we
were
never
contacted
by
the
hotel
prior
to
arrival
or
given
arrival
instructions
or
offered
to
be
picked
up
anywhere,
unlike
all
the
other
hotels
we
stayed
at.
We
actually
took
a
boat
at
the
correct
pier,
ao
nam
mao
pier.
It
is
poorly
lit,
there
was
no
transportation
from
the
hotel
here,
and
you
get
dropped
off
far
from
the
hotel
at
Railay,
so
I
donāt
even
know
why
they
recommend
that
you
take
the
boat
at
this
pier.
This
issue
with
arrival
that
set
a
negative
tone
to
our
stay
can
be
solved
if
the
hotel
communicated
with
guests
beforehand,
schedules
pickup
with
a
third
party
long
tail
boat
for
the
guests
at
either
ao
nang
or
ao
nam
mao
piers,
and
has
someone
waiting
for
the
luggage
once
you
arrive
at
Railay.
That
will
save
guests
from
an
unsavory
and
quite
scary
experience
at
the
pier,
particularly
if
they
arrive
at
night
and
protect
them
from
scammers
or
people
trying
to
take
advantage
of
them.
