Stay away from this! These people intentionally offer rooms online which they do not have available and then just transfer you to a completely different resort (Green View Resort). When we arrived, the reception lady immediately demanded the taxi driver to turn around and bring us to another place, without even saying hello or trying to explain why. It looked like this is a completely normal thing for them to do without the need of any excuse or explanation. Therefore I assume this was not an exception and is done on a regular basis here. Despite the new room being unlike the previous one, they did not offer a discount. (we originally booked the tree house, which is their most expensive room type). We already noticed something strange a few days prior to arrival, when we called the resort asking if we could deliver a parcel there. While the guy on the phone started telling us that we won't stay there, he was getting interrupted half through the sentence by his manager, then suddenly told us that everything is alright. That means they already knew that this room was not available several days in advance. But instead of cancelling us, they decided to say nothing and just bring us to another place of their own so they can keep the money. Therefore, this was not an accident. They are selling something knowing they don't have it. This is Fraud.

So nice idea of the hotel. Good and quiet place in a jungle. But so bad rooms! In a room are bad almost all of the things. Dirty bad sheets, ceiling with mold, wardrobe eaten by termits, dirty walls and floor. This is the worst place I have ever been(

What an amazing place to stay! I’ve stayed here for 5 days and this place bang on. The staff is awesome and the animal life is incredible. I get what people write about the rooms, but hey, you can always pay for a fancy room, but you ain’t getting this atmosphere. I had the deluxe one and it included a AC to my surprise. Thanks everyone 👌

I got a bit concerned after reading the reviews here but turned out to grow on this place after staying for 3 nights. You can see the staff here trying to make the room as clean and cozy as possible in SUCH A JUNGLE here. The location is away from the busy streets but fortunately Grab is very easy for us to get around and stay for real peace at nights. The resort provides free shuttle rides if you can accommodate their schedule. You can hear the cicadas singing during the whole stay. In the morning the roosters wake you up for breakfast. There's not much option for breakfast but each dish is cooked with care. The fried rice here was so good but unfortunately I only had one plate on the 2nd day. The staff is super nice and friendly. They responded to your request very quickly. I really enjoyed my stay here. Thank you for the hospitality.

It was a great place to stay in the jungle. The pool was amazing. Unfortunately the rooms are a bit old and we had rats in the ceiling which made sleeping very hard. They were trying to eat their way through the ceiling or build another tunnel. Other than that the stay was amazing. You can also see a lot of monkeys in and around the resort. Breakfast was 150 baht, which was a very good deal. Cant really find anything cheaper or better from the city. And you also get an hourly shuttle going to the beach and back.

The location is beautiful, but the drawback is there's no food within the resort apart from breakfast buffet (English breakfast). Yes you can order from grab, but have to pay high delivery charges and wait for 50 mins. This place is also far away from the beach by walk, but they do have free shuttle service every 2 hrs to the beach. The swimming pool is good with a bar. They're renovating the place. We did find cockroaches in the room, which was a bummer 😕.

It’s a charming small villa nestled in a jungle-like setting with breathtaking cliff views. The cozy atmosphere, combined with the inviting pool and bar, made it an ideal retreat. The highlight was the availability of scooters for rent, allowing easy exploration of the surrounding beauty. A perfect blend of tranquility and adventure!

Awesome escape at this resort. Really out in the bush, monkeys living up in the treetops and an astonishing view of Ao Nang Cliff. The pool area is an amazing spot, and the barman has top-notch service. Amazingly helpful staff with a free shuttle that operates every couple of hours to the main beach and back. The resort itself is a bit of a distance from everything, but with the shuttle and scooter hire available, it’s easy as. Laundry service available too which is needed. Restaurant open for breakfast and lunch, but we weren’t too fond of the food. There is an amazing restaurant, a 10-15min flat walk that we recommend. Tee Thai in the Jungle - delicious! Thanks for the stay!

Awesome hidden garden with cottages. Very nice pool with bar. The pool was quite cold - this is perfect over day, but in the evening it's cold to stay there. It's because the sun shines there only a few hours. Definitely you need a motorbike, because it's long way to the city. They provide a shuttle bus every 2 hours but last one is at 18:00. Generally we were really satisfied, very nice location near the center in hidden jungle garden.

I read a lot of reviews about this place being old and not well-maintained, but I have to disagree with this. It looked fine when I came here in January honestly and you have to know that COVID ofcourse took a big toll on hotels so please don't be so rough on them. The staff is incredibly friendly and always helps you. An example is that when I arrived in my room, I had a scorpion and ants in my room so I went to ask them if they could help me remove them. They were not hesitating and told me if I wanted another room and they gave me a much bigger room after that. When you book this hotel, please know that you are in the middle of the jungle and don't complain about the animals as this is just the charming part of it! You are in the middle of the nature!

We just left this wonderful resort and I am going to miss it very much. We booked one night and kept extending for another four. The location is out of this world. The resort is situated in the shadow of towering cliff, on the other side of which Railay Beach is located. There are monkeys, wild animal noises, birds and an incredible lush jungle garden which is well maintained. In the mornings I would collect the freshly fallen mangosteens for my breakfast. I thought breakfast was lovely. The friendly cook would make us a delicious omelette morning and the coffee was real and good. The staff are angels and do everything to make you feel happy and welcome. Our rooms were made up every day with fresh water and towels. The rooms are simple, outdated and I’d give a 7/10 for cleanliness. I would also have loved a toilet brush!! Haha! I can happily recommend this very affordable place if you are down for something very different and feeling close to nature. By the way the pool was just wonderful, with awe inspiring background of jungle and cliffs and monkeys. A perfect place to come back too after a hard days activities!

We were on vacation for three nights and nothing went well. They made a huge mistake with our reservation but they weren't helpful at all. They gave us one room with two double beds and two ranches (in the same room for three couples) in bad condition and ONLY ONE BATHROOM!! Of course our reservation was for three different rooms, one for each couple... The place was really dirty with stains on the towels and the sheets.. In the bathroom there were a lot of hair. Totally not worth the money.

Positive: I stayed here for 3 days and had a mixed experience. Rooms are quiet and close to nature. Good breakfast facilities available in hotel Staff was very helpful in any issues that you had with rooms e.g. shower not working was immediately replaced. Swimming pool was clean. Shuttle service is available on hourly basis from hotel to Ao nang beach Negative: This hotel is 15min walking distance inside the main road to AO nang beach Shuttle service stops at 6:15pm which is when the actual shuttle service is required as there are only few lights on road to resort I had to rent bike as road looks dangerous There were many mosquitoes I room Room has no intercom service so you have to walk till reception for any issues

Lovely place tucked away in a lovely jungle setting. Great place to meet people. Lots of wildlife including monkeys climbing the trees around the pool. We ended up staying longer as we liked the place so much.

Good view resort and service Near to main road and market places. But its good to hire bikes for travel. Rooms are small though.

Would be 5/5 but there’s quite a lot of mosquitos at night, I think a mosquito net would be a good idea. But apart from that it was amazing. We stayed in the Tree House room and it was great. Amazing being in the jungle like that.

Had a great stay here, yes it's a bit rough around the edges but I'll put that down to the effects of the last two years! Staff were so friendly and very accommodating and the breakfast was amazing. There's a free shuttle bus to the beach and you can rent scooters on site but walking will take around half an hour so not a million miles away 👍🏼 Add to that the amount of wildlife you'll see and you're in for a treat! Note - you're in the jungle so expect insects and lizards 🦎 I'm sure that with more guests this place will get better and better!

The property has a stunning view of limestone cliffs and lots of beautiful trees and plants everywhere, making you feel like you're living within nature - we even saw langurs swinging through the trees! it's located towards the edge of Ao Nang but is still close enough for a leisurely stroll over to the beach with lots of food places within 10mins walk. P'Ying and the service crew were extremely kind and friendly, always greeting us with smiles and very helpful with sharing information about Krabi. We only planned to stay for 2 days but ended up staying for 5 because we loved it there so much!

Resort is really beautiful place to stay there, but restaurant is open only for breakfast. It means that you have to go to the centrum (1,5km) or you can order meal from grapp app.

Amazing place to stay and see Ao Nang since it's pretty accesible and you can go anywhere from the hotel. Great staff!!!! Definitely recommend 100%

Room was very small. Bathroom was dirty and you couldn’t modify the temperature of water. Staff was friendly, they wanted to change the room for us but the next one was exactly the same.

I‘m traveling for more than half a year and this was probably my favourite stay so far!! Extremely magical! We stayed 10 night hahaha 😅 Stay here!! You wake up in the jungle!!! Super beautiful plants trees and flowers and chicken hahaha. If you’re not that much of a nature person don’t worry it’s not hard core jungle - you got a walking path and no plants etc will disturb you while walking but you can look at natures beauty - big trees at the cliff right in front of you!! I love it! Also you got a pool in the jungle and really friendly team! Thank you so much!! See you next time in Ao Nang!

I recently stayed at Aonang Cliff View, got a delightful tropical forest vibe, and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The location was simply perfect, surrounded by lush greenery and the sounds of nature, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere. I absolutely loved the tranquility it offered, making it an ideal getaway for relaxation and rejuvenation. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a serene tropical escape!

Good place to stay and reasonable price! Sometimes monkeys would visit your bungalow ;)

  • 5/5 Patrick L. 1 year ago on Google
Incredibly helpful and friendly staff, the offer of drinks on arrival was a very nice touch. The room was clean, with a nice warm and powerful shower. Great views from the rooftop infinity pool and bar. Perfect location, opposite lots of shops/bars, with a convenient 7-Eleven and ATMs just outside the lobby.

Great wild location, with monkeys and other wildlife living in the tree tops. Very good price and good quality of the rooms, a splendid pool and bar. Very recommended!

Nice bungalows in jungle with relaxing swimming pool. Everyone is smiling and half to help. However, I would improve cleanliness of rooms, strange smell is also something wow annoying.

We really love the vibe here. It's a hidden gems!!!! Love the feeling of living in the forest while we can go out to the beach within 10 min. The staffs were so friendly. The room was ok.

Magical environment, full of greenery, flowers, and a huge rock towering in the back of the resort. Bungalows are either basic or better quality. The price is very accommodating. Don't expect luxury, but it doesn't even belong to the jungle. Otherwise there is all you need. Pool right under the rock, a great breakfast, a shuttle service to the sea. The resort is about 3 km from the lowest beach, a 4-minute motorbike. The distal location from the center is not minus because it provides peace, quiet sleeping and thanks to dense greenery here is a more pleasant climate than in the center. We will definitely come back here.

At first we were little disappointed as the rooms are run down and you will feel like in the room from 80s that had not much maintenance over the years. But then we realised that we spent most of the time outside and outdoors of the resort is absolutely beautiful. Great pool. Next time I would not pay for breakfast as we did not like it much.

If you're looking for a hotel that offers a unique and refreshing experience, look no further than Ao Nang Cliff View Resort. This hotel boasts a nature-inspired vibe that will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. One of the highlights of this hotel is the stunning view of the mountain rock formation. Whether you're lounging in your room or taking a dip in the pool, you'll be treated to breathtaking scenery that will take your breath away. Speaking of the pool, it's worth noting that it's impeccably clean and well-maintained. You can take a refreshing swim or simply soak up the sun while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. For those who like to stay active, the hotel also has a gym that's equipped with few dumb bells and machines you need for a great workout. You can stay on top of your fitness routine while enjoying the natural beauty of the area. But what really sets Ao Nang Cliff View Resort apart is the friendly and attentive staff. From the moment you arrive, you'll be greeted with warm smiles and helpful service that will make you feel right at home. Overall, Ao Nang Cliff View Resort is a must-visit for anyone who wants to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse themselves in nature. With its stunning views, clean facilities, and friendly staff, it's the perfect place to unwind and recharge.

We love this place. Yes the rooms aren't the best looked after, but being able to sit on the rooms balcony in the middle of nature cannot be beaten! Staff are always happy to help sort out trips etc.

We had an amazing stay at Ao Nang Cliff view Resort! The staff were so friendly and helpful and the facilities were top notch! The room was clean and comfortable with a stunning view from our balcony. The pool area was great with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas for shade. The restaurant had delicious food, and the beach was a short walk away. They even had a shuttle that took us to the main area so we didn’t have to walk as much as well took the responsibility of booking us our ferry and driver for Koh Phi Phi! We’d definitely recommend Ao Nang Cliff Side Resort to others looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Krabi!

Really nice hotel. Nestled in amongst the jungle and dramatic rock formations. Good breakfast available too. Lovely pool to lounge around in whilst being surrounded by nature. Perfect after a long day exploring Krabi

Ying was the best host we could have asked for! Super helpful, efficient and always with a smile on her face! Even when I needed assistance for stuff unrelated to the hotel, such as my 5G internet sim contract she swiftly die that for me. Overall we had a great time at Cliff view, as you are truly immersed in the jungle. Waking up and seeing monkeys, peacocks, tucans and giant lizards was truly spectacular!

Cliffs can be easily seen from the resort. The outlook is fine. Apart from crowd, into the nature. BUT! The WiFi is very poor, there was no tissue box in the room, the reception was not near, there's no telephone to communicate them, asked for an ashtray which they didn't send, the quality of curtains are compromised! A nice cozy place but Services should be better.

Although the staff was very friendly, we did not have the experience like a lot of other people have that wrote reviews. The property is beautiful but the bungalows need some major updating. When we got to our bungalow it was completely clean as we had seen a lot of dead bugs and dust. The ater pressure was awful in the shower and the hot water heater didn't work all the time. Our toilet also had a massive crack and leaked around the bathroom. Housekeeping would also come in even when we didn't ask and left one of our windows open. This window was also partially broken and let a lot of bugs in. Also, we weren't impressed with the breakfast. I think this resort has pote tiL if they were to update their rooms and facilities more.

Rooms and washrooms needs to be made upto the mark of being a 3 start property. Kitchen should be available untill atleast night , not upto 3pm during the day. The people those who donot know how to order from food panda or grab might stay hungry for the whole day as it's a good walk from resort to market.

Worth the price. Super friendly with a free transfer into town. Jungle vibes and pool was really nice and quite. Lots of wild life too see. Would recommend.

This place is awesome. Very good value. Area is very natural and can enjoy monkey, birds and many kinds of animals around. Room clean and bed very confortable. Staff very friendly and helpful on everything. We can only recommend this place and we will be back for sure. Thank you !!!!

The only way to describe this stay is you’re basically camping. Damp sheets, dusty, dirty, BUGS EVERYWHERE, toilet doesn’t flush. The staff hardly speak English. Definitely an experience but I felt very dirty!

Our 3rd time in 6 years staying here. It has a charm all its own. The greatest thing about Ao Nang Cliff View is the amazing staff/employees who work so hard to look after us guests. The location, the view, the animal and plant life and the plain cosiness are all an added bonus. Thank you so much all of you at Ao Nang Cliff View Resort
