Very warm welcome by the reception, we were a bit earlier than the incheck time, but after an hour our room was ready. In the meantime we had a nice chat with the lady of the tourism information point who arranged two trips for us. Each time you enter or leave the hotel and walk last the lobby you are warmly greeted. The breakfast is very diverse and if you would like some eggs and bacon, they are freshly prepared. Pool is nice and clean and at the bar near the pool you can order cocktails and during happy hour 5-6 you can get two for the price of one.

We have Just come back from a two week stay at la Playa, very pleased with the whole experience. The staff are super friendly and nothing is to much trouble, I’d like to say a special thank you to Katie on reception, she went above and beyond and always greeted us with a smile and chat when we saw her. The hotel is very clean with excellent beds and very comfy pillows!! Breakfast was always varied with a great egg station that we put to good use. The surrounding bars and restaurants are 2 minutes away. We ate at the little market that’s just across the road, the food is exceptional and gives you a a great experience in trying Thai food. I’d highly recommend a stay at this hotel and would defo be happy to go back.

Beautiful Hotel, spacious bedrooms, perfect breakfast. The Staff are both perfectly polite and professional. Two beautiful pools at the front of the hotel with a pool bar and a quieter 3rd pool at the rear. It's a 1 minute walk to the main street directly from the garden and pool area and 5 mins maximum to the beach. If you head left from the Hotel you will find millions of bars and restaurants and within 10 mins another beach.

Amazing staff, very helpful even with weird questions. I can't emphasize this enough the staff was superb. Reasonable breakfast but nothing too fancy. The room itself had some quirks. Hot water was sometimes not available and water was leaking out of the showerhead and shower stall itself.

Nice renovated hotel, beautiful hotel area - swimming pools, gym with AC. Right in the middle of Aonang, so you can go to the north and south beach. It is Close to 7eleven. Location a little bit behind the main road so it is nice and quiet here, it makes you feel like you are in the middle of the jungle. And what is the most important is that the service at reception desk and at turist information is exceptional! Best service I experianced in long time: - we arrived right at the Hotel without previous booking and got better price than we found on internet. They speed up cleaning the room so we could check in early. We asked to extend check out by 2 hours - no problem. - At tourist information at the hotel you will get the lowest prices for trips and transportation. We checked that. The lady working there is extremly helpful and nice. I recommend this place, great value for money! :)

We went for our honeymoon and loved this hotel. The setting and rooms everything was beautiful and they gave us the corner suite which had private access to the pool. This was perfect for us to explore as a couple. The staff were very accommodating, they give good massages and their buffet breakfast is absolutely amazing!

The management are very generous by upgrading our room from superior to deluxe pool access with jacuzzi room for free! Thanks for your service and hospitality. Definitely will come back again some other time!

More pricier than other resorts in this area, but you don’t get drunken backpackers or bogans staying here as a consequence, property has had a lot of upgrades and it shows, cleaners do a very good job, pool is always spotless, rooms are big and well appointed. Management/ Reception staff are helpful & polite.

Room very pleasant, clean and modern. Peaceful atmosphere but most importantly- very helpful service. The resort does not offer triple rooms, so in order for me and my parents to be together a camp-bed had to be added. The mattress did feel too firm but the service added another plush layer right away and it did make a difference. Overall pleasant experience.

It was really nice hotel some time ago. But I suppose COVID lockdown affected this place quality. - For now all rooms have moth cocoons, and everything in the room is very old and literally crumbles. - WiFi is very flaky and if it is critical - much easier to work them some cafes. - They have gym. Quite small but still good to have. - Pools are good, 3 long ones for adult people and tiny one for kids - Staff is trying to do their best and they are very kind. It that is not enough :(

We loved the garden, pools, service, overall atmosphere! Location was great, we had massages several times. Staff and management of the hotel were absolutely the best, really pleasant and taking care of us. The best was surprise birthday cake for my son at the end of our stay! They really touched our hearts.

Nice clean hotel with amazing pool on walking distance from the beach, shops and reataurants. Small problems regarding our rooms were taking care of emediately. All personal was very kind and helpfull.

Great location, a little bit far from the noise. Calming place. Very clean rooms Staff is more the accomodating A little problem with the noisy air conditioner that took 2 days to get fixed. Contactless payment doesn’t work

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Stayed at Krabi La Playa for 12 nights. All the staff were so friendly and helpful . Nothing was too much trouble. I would like to say a special thank you to Mon, Katie, the Hotel Manager, the Chef and Nanny for all they did in making our holiday so enjoyable. The tour operator was so friendly and would recommend booking trips with her. I have special dietry requirements and they all went out of their way, above and beyond, to ensure I had choice, and the food that I was served, catered for my needs. The food, drinks/ cocktails, and service was amazing. There is a good choice for breakfast and the hotel is kept clean and tidy. The hotels location is ideal tucked away just off the main road ensuring peacful surroundings, but within easy access to a choice of two beaches, bars, restaurants and night markets. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL ENOUGH !! Thank you again to you all at Krabi La Playa!!

This is a good hotel. I stayed in a direct access to pool room with spa, which I enjoyed & is worth paying the extra amount. There are plenty of sun loungers beside the pool. There is also a day bed at your room. The room was spacious, with a couch & comfortable bed. My only negative comment is about the TV, which is a 15 year old TV & therefore doesn't have the capability to cast from your phone. The English tv channels were mostly news, so if you don't want to watch the news you can't cast your own media from your device. For the extra paid for the pool access spa room I would have expected better. Breakfast was ok, but nothing special.

Whilst the location is not bad, we did not enjoy our stay here that much. The easiest way to describe it would be "stingy" and in need of new paint.

First of; without Pon’s super sweet caring of our family it would just be a good hotel, but because of her it’s the best hotel in Thailand! All of the staff is so sweet and kind and makes you feel like family and always puts a smile on your face. They take care of your every need and make you feel so special. Service is excellent, location is excellent, pool is excellent, EVERYTHING is excellent! As the title said; Five stars isn’t enough! I will be returning! ❤️

Fantastic resort! Amazing experience. The resort is immense, very clean, very rich and variegated breakfast. Rooms are superlative. All the staff is very kind, polite and always available. I highly recommend this resort for your stay in Ao Nang.

It is a really nice hotel, we had a great time here. Great staff, they were very professional. The hotel is well located between Ao Nang beach and the nightmarket. There is also the best restaurant in Ao Nang 2 minutes walking from the hotel - KoDam Thai Cuisine.

We spent 7 days at La Playa and absolutely loved it. Room was spotless, modern and comfy. Staff were always friendly and food was good.

Very nice room, speedy room service,ice cold aircon and the pools are great to swim in or just have a casual drink, 7/11 is a short walk down the road aswell
