First time in Krabi. Wouldn’t recommend if your plans are to go to the beach, going walking to the night market or even do day trips. Super hard to get a taxi that doesn’t overcharged you just to take you to the market, or if you want to go ao nang even worse. The location is inside of the government area which means public transport doesn’t go there frequently. Definitely much better to stay at ao nang 1000%.

Really good. I stayed here for a few nights with my wife whilst extending our visa at Krabi immigrations. We enjoyed the pool and pool area. The restaurant was very quiet but turned out good value food. The hotel is perhaps a bit dated but the service of the staff was fantastic. The room was a great size and everything worked. A big positive for us that we weren't perhaps expecting was the shuttle service. They offer a free service to the main spots in the vicinity including night Market runs in the evening and lifts within the town throughout the day. Fantastic, this and the pool made it worth the extra few pound per night for us.

Small room, very worth the price just to sleep in and enjoy the view in morning. Staffs are very friendly and helpful, make you feel at home.

Very comfortable rooms, lovely crisp sheets and comfortable beds. Very friendly, helpful staff, nice pool to take a dip which is definitely needed in the heat. A little bit of a walk to town but no too far, about 10 minutes. A little bit run down in the reception areas but great for the price and location

We almost missed our internal flight to Bangkok because of the hotel. We had booked a cab to the airport the day before our flight. We wanted to confirm this reservation on the day of our flight. They hadn't booked our cab after all. The hostess then booked a cab, but it never showed up (thirty-minute call, reminders...). Fortunately, a hotel employee took the trouble to take us to the airport.

They took care of calling the people we needed to see in the morning for a ride. Very nice and helpful people. The room is good for the price and bonus for the pool

Room was nice and balcony. AC worked very well. Location was not so good and breakfast wasnt good for us, not so many options. Staying there were very cheap, it was good for a couple days.

In terms of location and the service I had experienced probably one of the best in Thailand. Good ambient lighting in the rooms, a little outdated but superbly arranged with a good balcony view. The location is closer to the center of all the happening spots and easy to walk around. Enough stores, shops and parks are around the hotel and reasonably priced as well.

Clean and comfortable, perfect for overnight stay before airport. They run a motorbike rental.. the motorbike was slightly dodgy

This place is wonderful. Absolutely love this place, hotel staff are very accommodating, polite, very honest and good people. We spend bout 8 nights and we’ll look forward to coming back when we visit Krabi next time.

Amazing place for Amazing price lady at the reception was amazing and so so helpful. We came back twice without the booking to take our chances even that we had to wait for an hour it was worth it! Will always come back to Golden Hill Krabi

Service was friendly and very helpful! It was really refreshing to be able to cool off in the pool, smaller and simple. Rooms were clean and comfy. Had everything you would need for a night or 2. Patios were specious and we enjoyed relaxing out there and watching the sunset. 15 minute walk from walking street and river where there's a great street food market at night. Great coffee close by.

Breakfast could be better, it was very simple. Bathroom was quite old, room was OK. On the positive side, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Don’t expect a 5 star hotel. You get what you pay for. Location isn’t fantastic. Breakfast is lacking. Ants everywhere. Cleaning crew leaves a lot to be desired. Air co works. Fridge works. Shower is hot however the shower head is in an odd position. The staff and service were wonderful though and I can’t commend them enough on their friendliness. Pool was cold. Ok if you’re only wanting somewhere to sleep the night and don’t mind sharing a bed with ants.

Good hotel for budged, staff very caring, clean simple hotel.

The rooms were relatively nice. Ambience was really weird, reception was not friendly at all. The lady at reception kept giving us very high prices like 200 baht ($4aud) for a 1 minute drive to town The location is not very good, so you need to rely on them to call a taxi for you unless you rent a scooter. So when they try to charge a high amount in an unfriendly way, it feels like they are taking advantage of their poor location. I would suggest booking another hotel at a similar price with friendlier reception and better location

Pool area is nice, outside and working till 10pm. Location is a bit far away from city center and all objects (15min walk). Hotel room was huge and cozy, included balcony with nice view. Bathroom area was clean. Hotel restaurant was inexpensive and delicious food/beverages options (comparing to all city areas). Staff was helpful and friendly. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was with various options, from 6:30AM. Early check-in was without any problem and no fee. Downside: AC in evening smell was bad, but after hour or two it’s ok. Safe box not working properly. I would stay here again, because of pool area and great restaurant.

Nice place to stay in Krabi Town and you feel close to nature as well as being only a 5-10 min walk to the main part of town. Rooms are clean and the high rooms have views to the Andaman Sea. Breakfast is a let down to be honest, buffet style but cold and the eggs are not done properly. There are better places in town for breakfast anyway. Love the pool area and the pool water is maintained well enough. Recommended for a no thrills, value for money Hotel with Pool.

I recommend this hotel. 5-star service is available at this low price.

A bit too old room and furniture, nice staff, close to various attractions and Thara park for children.

Nice hotel nice pool rooms are good and it's near the pier if you need a over night stay for the ferry to go to Puhket or phi phi islands
