Newly refurbished and rebranded from DusitD2 to Holiday Inn since 1 Oct 2022. Everything is new and well maintained, stayed at the block up the hill and loving the view of the big rock and sea from the room. Breakfast is decent and staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel is located not too far from shops and short stroll to beach, its not too close to the bustle thus allowing a quiet night's rest. Highly recommended.

The hotel's location is fairly accessible. It is located on the main street, close to the commercial districts of Ao Nang Krabi. The hotel's front desk was quite welcoming and polite. The hotel service was extremely courteous and friendly. The rooms were immaculate and contemporary. The breakfast was great and offered a variety of options. The price was quite competitive, and the quality of everything was excellent. The beach, restaurants, and stores are all within a few minutes' walk. I will stay here again if I return to Ao Nang Krabi.

I booked 2 nights here so I could see whether or not I liked it. I loved it so kept extending my stay and eventually stayed a week. The staff were all cheerful and friendly, the room very comfortable and quiet, the pool terrific, and the location excellent, very close to the beach, small supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. They kindly gave me an upgrade after a couple of nights and it was nice to have a bigger room and even more comfy balcony.

Great location in walking distance from the beach, close to some restaurants, and shops (groceries and souvenir), plus astonishing cliff views, big spotless pool and gym. WiFi excelent, even for zoom meetings. The house restaurant is also delicious. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, all over the hotel, you really feel welcomed. There is really nothing to complain about. I admire that the hotel still manages to keep its high standards and give you a great experience, in times when all cut the corners. In Europe this would be a 5 star hotel considering the service, the rooms and infrastructure.

One of the best hotels and resort of Krabi in Thailand. Amazing check in experience, great hill and sea view rooms. The service is outstanding, rooms are spectacular 👌 Coffee shop for breakfast was good with varied selection of cuisines. Nearby market and beach ⛱ Will visit again.....thanks for memories

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights in August - we had a great time! The hotel is gorgeous, the rooms are very large and comfortable. We had connecting rooms with 3 kids in one room and us in the other. They had a very cute tent with some dolls for the kids to play with. The kids club has several activities and my kids spent quite a lot of time there, especially considering the fact that it was raining most of the time we were in Krabi so we couldn't do much. Kids eat free with paid parents' meal so we ended up eating at the hotel for almost every meal - the cost was good and the food was delicious. My kids LOVED the donut wall - it's so cute!! The location is wonderful with tons of restaurants, massage places, laundry facilities, etc. right there, plus it's only a 20-minute walk (or 100 baht tuktuk) to the Monkey Trail.

Holiday Inn Resort at Ao Nang was a decent stay. It wasn’t a 5* fantastic kind of hotel but I am still giving it a 5* review due to the friendliness of the staff, the front desk and the guys driving the buggy sending the guests up and down the hill when required. The hotel is situated on a hill and the furthest block (No.6) can be really far up and not as accessible; however if you booked a Standard Room, you can’t be expecting much and most likely it will be furthest away from up the hill. However, the stay was fine, great staff, close to amenities such as 7-11 and most importantly is it just a few hundred meters away from the beach. All the happenings, food places, night life are all on the same street as well. Breakfast was decent as well; good varieties and offerings, pretty much what you can expect from a typical hotel international breakfast. The breakfast offering is included as part of the stay (which is a good gesture). Great location, great value and would recommend this place as one of the cheaper stays to get to all the happenings that Ao Nang has to offer.

Hello everyone I would like to recommend the Holiday Inn hotel, we stayed for a whole week. The great staff, the hotel facilities, the rooms and the cleanliness everywhere. We especially want to recommend and thank the service of the children's club. We are parents of a 3-year-old boy on the autistic spectrum, we took him to the children's club where we met Ms. Pamela who was able to create an instant relationship with him which gave us confidence to leave him with her for many hours which gave us a lot of freedom.

As I stayed here for a short period, couldn't discover a lot about the hotel, however what I saw deserves 4 stars. Location: • It's located very close to the beach, surrounded with multiple cafes and massage places, as well as 7/11 and Watsons, distance from the airport is also reasonable. • The territory is well designed, a lot of greenery and quite places to sit outside, with pool area and a big kid's playing area. • But be aware that it's located on the hill, so some of the building (hotel consists of several separate buildings) will be located uphill and it might be a bit of hassle to walk up and down if you have small kids or elderly people. However there's a buggy service free of charge and any time to take you up or down. Rooms: •Rooms were absolutely fine in terms of size and amenities (hair dryer, fridge, iron, sanitary kit, etc) • However cleaning wasn't that good, as when I checked in it was used tissues on the floor together with small used towel in bathroom. • Another issue was a poor sound isolation of the rooms: at some point housekeeping staff was talking super loud inside one of the rooms and it was disturbing my sleep being few rooms away. I spoke to reception, but the issue of loud noise wasn't resolved... Breakfast was absolutely fine, 4 stars for it too. Maybe a bit more of a local treats could be added. Keep in mind that despite a number of tables restaurant get full immediately after opening.

Room: I stayed here for 4D3N and this was my first tvisit Krabi. The room was very comfortable. There were a lot of pillows, 5 total, love it! The bed was also comfy and suitable for resting and staying long holiday. Location: The hotel is located in good location in Ao Nang, there are many restaurants and shops around hotels, very convenient to get foods or other items. Cons: I almost gave them Five-star. Except that the breakfast was less variety, there was be Three or Four menus every day. So, i think it would be great if they could add more variety breakfast menus.

Located conveniently along many shops, restaurants, bars and convenient stores, with Ao Nang Beach just 400m away by foot. For the room itself, the bed was comfy but had some sand on the bunk beds in the family room. The beach towels provided at the lobby and pool is very convenient for a day out at the beach, but they do have stains on them. That being said, I am really nitpicking here. These shortcomings are to be expected as many hotels open up to tourists once again. Breakfast wise, it was definitely above average and they do try to change the dishes a little, as we experienced 3 times their buffet breakfast. I really hope they improve and we shall be back again when we visit Krabi for sure.

Nice location. Nice , cozy & safe rooms with an extra bed already there in all rooms. Hard & soft foam beds both there. Appreciable & thoughtful. Reception could be little more kind & soft spoken. Service could improve to higher levels. Food & cleanliness is nice. Overall very good to stay.

All good, nothing spectacular. Parking is not really difficult, like some have mentioned. Pretty long/ steep walk from room (Building 6) to the lobby/ main street.

Really low quality food for breakfast, terrible coffee. Was made to feel unwelcome with restaurant staff following me around making sure I had my mask on. The king bed is just two singles joined together at different heights. Tiny room with air conditioning that turns itself off. Minibar is empty, despite having a menu. However, the view is great, which is the only reason it gets 2 stars from me. Would not recommend this hotel.

We stayed 3 nights. Hotel location is excellent nearby many restaurants and markets. They have excellent gym, swimming pool and area for kids to play. Unfortunately rooms are small and no much variety in the breakfast. Overall, the hotel is clean and we enjoyed our stay.

I stayed the holiday inn for 4 nights near Ao Nang beach and it was such a pleasant experience. Spacious and clean room with a nice view of the sea. The staff is super friendly and had many recommendations for day trips etc (especially May). Breakfast was great and varied. The location of the hotel is a bit up hill from the beach but with rented bikes it was very doable. Definitely recommend!

We loved our stay there as we expected on this brand hotel. Helpful and pleasant staff and good facilities with a comfortable bed. But they didn't have a concierge so that receptionists - there were only 2 - had to take care of all the problems of customers. The amount of their jobs were out of their hands, and it took a long time for me to check in.

I got lizard in my room and we are now chasing it to get it out from the room from last 30 mins. Receptionist should be good host in any hotel, they find funny when customer ask them for couple of services. Hotel management need to work on their housekeeping and Receptionist for basic work ethics. I would never recommend anyone for stay.

The staff was so kind at our stay here! They welcomed us for our honeymoon with treats and an adorable sign, it was a very nice touch. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable as well. The view from our room was amazing! The pool area was great too. Overall I highly recommend staying here!!

Me and my girlfriend had an amazing stay! The location is brilliant to explore Ao Nang and is not to far from the busy area of where the bars, restaurants and shops are located. The room was amazing and the views were breathtaking! All the staff were super friendly and helpful…special mention to Tum, Mink, Hanna and the lady at the pool (sorry I forgot her name) who looked after us so much and we’re so happy all the time! Thank you for making it a amazing trip!

Nice resort very close to Ao Bang beach in Krabi. Resort is built on a little hillock, utilizing the landscape nicely. We had booked a family room which was very nice and spacious with a king bed and a bunk bed perfect to accommodate a family of four. We had a very nice view of the sea from the balcony. The only disappointing point was breakfast spread. There was very little option for vegetarians (they had some Indian food which wasn't great either). One could easily prepare few Thai and Asian vegetarian food but there was none.

Hotel is of good location with useful amenities around. Lots of food options around hotel area. Staff is superb throughout the hotel. Special mention to In-Yart from Front Desk .. always proactive and outstanding character. He sincerely helped us when we had issues with late pick-up from an external tour agent. Room decor is fresh and tasteful. Rooms are clean. Value-for-money and kid-friendly hotel.. we hope to be back next time.

Me and my husband stayed here for 3 days and the over all experience has been great! The location of the hotel is super and everything is accessible on foot. You can explore Ao Nang on your own with multiple cafes to hang out at and lovely people around. The food here is great, the buffet spread was huge and the staff is really helpful. I would like to say thanks to Mary, Yah and Fai for making us comfortable during our stay. Thanks again and we hope to come back again!😊☀️🏖️

Excellent Location. Close to the beach/restaurants. The pool was clean and warm. Rooms were comfortable. Attached bar/restaurant was a lot of fun with nightly music and happy hour drink specials. We had a waiter named Tum both nights who was one of the most fun and genuine people I've met. Excellent bang for your buck.

We had a wonderful stay here for 4 nights Feb 2023. First time in Krabi and the Holiday Inn was in a great spot in Ao Nang. We requested a quiet room so was up the back in building 6; room was very quiet, couldn’t hear any street noise and the balcony faced foliage so we could have the curtains open without anyone being able to see inside. Staff were super polite and helpful. Breakfast was good, although if you come after 9am they stop replenishing everything so choices can be limited. Room was very clean. Perfect stay and would definitely stay again. 5 stars ⭐️

Firstly, I was appalled to discover that my room had been decorated for a honeymoon, despite the fact that I was traveling with two friends. Another ridiculous thing was that the honeymoon congratulations message was addressed to a random person. Furthermore, the setup for the third bed was not done, and when we requested a bed, the hotel staff forgot to provide pillow. The next morning at 6am, there was a power shutdown with no air conditioning, and shortly after, an unbearable sewage smell emanated from the toilet. Despite calling the reception desk repeatedly, no one came to check for 30 minutes, and we had to physically go down to reception to get their attention. Even after the staff arrived, they were unable to resolve the issue, and it took three hours until the Duty Manager finally agreed to change our room at 9am. Throughout this ordeal, there was no sense of urgency, service recovery, or communication from the staff. Their passive and unhelpful attitude was unacceptable, particularly considering my Platinum Elite status.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Built into a hill, the high rooms had great views. Walk out the door and you're one block from the beach in a vibrant part of the city. Courteous service and awesome breakfast selection. Not to be confused (as some reviewers have) with the similarly named Holiday Resort Ao Nang which is an older property and not part of the Holiday Inn chain.

Our family had a great stay at this hotel. Recently taken over by IHG to become a Holiday Inn Resort. The staff were amazing and always happy to help. Great value for money. I hope IHG treats the staff well.

Great rooms , amazing road , sea , jungle view rooms....service is amazing .... It's like 2-3 mins walk from the beach ....you can stroll through restaurants and shops in the area ... window shopping and any activity can be done on the way to beach.... This palce has all within a kms range . Hotel has earned its mark there.

The resort is about half a kilometer away from beach and does not have any views of the beach. Nice property but their services are extremely poor. You should expect service like Holiday Inn Express in this resort. The rooms are at a height and you'll need to trek a little bit to reach out to your rooms. Overall the rooms were spacious with all facilities but they don't provide more than one coffee pouch per day and give only 2 half litre water bottles per day.

We enjoyed our stay at this dusitD2 property. It isn't a place for (rooms with) views of the sea or beach, but it's not too far off (a five minute brisk walk) from these attractions either. There are multiple convenience stores (7-elevens, for example) and food joints (besides the usual touristy shopping options) right outside the main entrance (I highly recommend this filter when looking for properties in Thailand). The rooms are clean, the housekeeping is good. The breakfast buffet was worthwhile. The only challenge may be with (English language) communication challenges at reception, but ymmv. Overall, I recommend this property for anyone visiting Krabi.

If I understood correctly, the hotel was closed during the corona pandemic. This showed itself in several ways such as the menu in the restaurant, facilities that had not been opened etc. Some of the people at the reception seemed inexperienced. As an example, they contacted us 3 times to confirm the booking of a taxi. The hotel's location is top notch, close to the beach. The staff try to make the stay as good as possible, but they are very understaffed.

We stayed here for 2 nights . The breakfast was average /okayish for a vegetarian person. They didn't even have cups to take away coffee cause we were running to airport to catch our flight. Rooms are amazing and good service. Amenities and pool is nice. 4 stars for that. Minus 1 for the breakfast.

I had a very pathetic experience here in this hotel because first on my check in time I was made to sign a check in form which was in Thai language also in English but real small letters so could not find it, I request the lady at the reception even first she started searching and than when found started laughing in a very rude manner. Also, We were a group of 9 persons travelling to Thailand for a 17 night long vacation so obviously we had a lot of luggage with our shopping added to it, now here the bell boy kept making huff huff noise and kept showing that it is very heavy and as if we are carrying too many luggage, although among 9 persons we were carrying 10 bags in total. Also the staff here don't understand English at all, I don't know how they treat foreign customers so rudely and indecently, pathetic check in experience, I should say worst.

Interesting layout, central location and good rooms. Too bad the entire resort had a power issue so no air con for many hours the day we checked in. It is NOT a beach resort so don't expect a ocean view.

Very upset with the hotel procedure to manage with the guests who won't wear masks in the public area (restaurant and lobby). Why do I and my family need to take a risk? Your staffs won't even warn your guest to wear a mask when go into buffet line. Chicken noodle soup, Kanomjeen namya tastes very salty. Rooms are big and clean.

  • 4/5 R W. 2 years ago on Google
The room is spacious, but housekeeping needs some improvement. Breakfast is ok, but they start from 7am, it’s a bit late if you need to go out for boat trip in early morning. The towels have some stains. K.Kelly and K.Guy are really helpful, friendly, and responsive. K Armuay needs some days off, we stay there four days, she always looks like in a bad mood.

Decent hotel with quick access to Ao Nang beach (5 mins walk). Room was really nice and clean, breakfast spread was good, especially the green curry chicken. Small complaint - the buildings and rooms are structured in a weird manner, which made it slightly difficult to get in or out of the hotel.
