I recently stayed at Phu Phi Maan Resort for 5 nights, and it was an incredible experience. The resort boasts an amazing view that left me in awe every day. I had the pleasure of staying in the connecting rooms, 2302 and 2303, at Phu Phi Maan Resort. These rooms offered not only a great view but also the convenience of a connecting door, making it perfect for families or groups traveling together. Both rooms were equipped with big bathtub. What made it even better was the direct pool access from these rooms, allowing us to take a refreshing dip in the pool whenever we pleased. My room was nice and clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing space throughout my stay. The combination of these well-appointed rooms, the connecting feature, and the easy access to the pool made our stay at Phu Phi Maan Resort even more enjoyable and convenient. It was a wonderful experience that I'll cherish for a long time. The food at the hotel was not only delicious but also reasonably priced, making it a great option for those on a budget. What truly stood out, though, was the staff. They were incredibly polite, friendly, and always had a smile on their faces. Special thanks to Sak for efficiently handling my booking through WhatsApp. He was responsive and patient, addressing all my inquiries. Hassan, the all-rounder man at the resort, deserves a special mention. From shuttle service to buggy rides and room service, he was always there to assist with a friendly and helpful attitude. His hard work and dedication truly enhanced my experience. Thanks to this wonderful stay, I'm already looking forward to coming back next year. Phu Phi Maan Resort exceeded my expectations in every way, and I can't wait to return for another fantastic vacation.

Rooms are fine, but there was a leak. Overall clean, so very pleased. - Near a mosque, so be aware for prayers in the early morning (not advertised) - No alcohol in the hotel (not advertised) - Shuttlebus did not pick us up at the time that they said they would be there - Rooms are a bit noisy, thin walls - Jacuzzis outside are very nice. Enjoyed it, but we were afraid it was too loud for the neighbors. - Pool wasnā€™t very clean Edit: Last night lots of noise from some animal above our head in the ceiling. Until the morning the noises switched to squeaking sounds like some mouse was trapped.

We had a great time at Phu Pi Maan and we couldn't have chosen a better hotel in our opinion. The location was perfect for us because it was not too busy but it was still near many different restaurants and shops, plus the shuttle bus service was amazing and brought us to and from Ao Nang Beach almost every day. The hotel itself was beautiful and well maintained so it felt very comfortable. The service was some of the best that we've ever had and it is honestly another reason to come back. I recommend this hotel for anyone that wants somewhere quiet and relaxing but still gives you access to some of the different activities that Ao Nang and Krabi has to offer!

First time staying here. The swim up room is amazing! The views in the morning are beautiful. The only down side is itā€™s at the top of a hill, and the tuk tuk canā€™t make it to the the top. So when itā€™s sweltering hot and raining you have to walk up. They have enough vehicles to have someone stationed at the bottomā€¦

I wouldnā€™t recommend this hotel unless you want to wake up in the middle of the night (twice) because of the call to prayer from the mosque thatā€™s just a few steps away. Most of the things in the room are also old and damaged. The ā€fitness centerā€ doesnā€™t deserve its name. Furthermore, thereā€™s no warm water if too many guests shower at the same time. The staff is nice, though, and the shuttle to/from the beach is good.

Fab hotel with amazing rooms and 3 lovely pools. However, it's a bit of a hike from where the better restaurants are located and you need to use the hotel shuttle. Very comfy beds and modern, clean shower/bath. Breakfast is generous but boring. English skills are low for staff, which can make things tricky.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 days and 3 nights. This was the best hotel I've stayed in. The hotel was very well maintained and had a calming ambiance. They serve you with drinks when checking in and are incredibly considerate. I booked for 2 adults but also brought along my 1 year old. The next day they gave us extra towels and bottles of water cause we had a plus one. They also have a couple umbrellas in each room to use. The room we stayed in was spacious, had a bathtub and an amazing view. Most rooms have a close access to the pool. The hotel is also within walking distance to the mosque and in front of the mosque there are a couple of stalls open at night that sell food. A few things that I would say is laking is that there is no elevator in the first main building (which is somewhat common in the area), However, the other building where most of the rooms are does have an elevator and the breakfast spread is average. Overall it is a hotel that I will highly recommend for anyone wishing to stay in Krabi

We were here in July 2018 for our anniversary. Upon arrival we were welcomed with some refreshments while waiting for check in and a buggy to pick us up and send us to our villa. We stayed at the Premium Villa 1-Bedroom and it was very spacious, tidy, clean and secluded, and we totally loved the privacy it offered especially when we spent our evenings at the balcony. The hotel restaurant was too far off our villa that it became a must for us to wait for a buggy to take us there, and unfortunately the breakfast spread was just an okay for us. Nevertheless, the mountain and village view from outside the restaurant is absolutely stunning. Overall we had a nice stay, thank you Ao Nang Phu Pi Maan Resort & Spa.

Very good hotel, exceptional environment if you do not mind, like us about the mosque proximity and prayer calls. Hotel away enough from the noise of the main street but close enough to have easy acces to many restaurants and stores. Nice and clean swimming pools. We booked a room and a villa, both were very nice, clean, large and well equipped. Bed's matress very confortable. Good Breakfast. Very good hotel services and spa. Thank you.

Amazing place, great breakfast. Best hotel rooms I have ever had. Only thing I would say needs improving is possibly some activities or evening entertainment etc. Nothing occuring at the establishment but this didn't bother us.

Great experience, wonderful service, peaceful location away from the beach noise, but at walking distance. Moreover the resort offer a shuttle service free of charge which drive you directly to the beach. On the day of my birthday, the hotel crew surprised me with a birthday song and a cake (which was also delicious) - its a kind of special attention you wouldn't expect but elevate your stay to the next level. The only real downsides are of this hotel are: uphill room location which push you for a little bit of leg excercise going in and out, and the lack of equipment in the fitness facility: here an upgrade would be really welcome on both the quality AND the type of equipment. I would suggest few kettlebells, a pull up bar, parallel bars and a boxing bag (also return on investment would be fantastic considering guests requirements in terms of fitness)

This place is adequate. Not suitable for disabled persons or elderly. As the rooms at the building where there is reception ; only have stairs that is very high up. The main building has lift however no buggy service after 2230 hours. The distance from lobby to this main building is pretty far and it is a long climb. You need a buggy service. It's like, disable people can't go to a bar late night as there will be no one to send you back to your hotel. Sauna needs repair as it is not hot at all.

First time to stay in this hotel. I would say that the room was clean and the bed was pretty comfy not the pillows though. The price we paid not too expensive and not too cheap so it was okay for me. For the breakfast I think they need to improve the buffet quit a lot , they should have more variety of food, also please prepare food until the breakfast hour is over, the last day before i check out, we went to have a breakfast there but there is nothing left only egg station. It was 9.30am! Not even 10 am yet, plus a day before a check out day, i saw some staffs had breakfast with us and greeted us like this is pretty common for them, from my experiences I have never seen staff to have the breakfast with the client before lol If you ask me if i ever come back here again, the answer is nope! Thanks šŸ˜…

Great hotel with quite nice big villas with nice pool area. Maybe a bit outdated interior but still charming, made in an asian/Japanese inspired style. A shuttle bus from the hotel takes you to Ao nang beach and the main area of the city. Every second hour from 8 am to 4 pm. And every hour between 4 pm and 10 pm. There are quite many restaurants nearby and a beautiful mosque close to the hotel. Which gives many halal options close by. The hotel itself also serves halal food and great breakfast. Overall one of the best and charming hotels I have stayed in Thailand.

Nice resort even it is slightly old. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The location is a bit far from the beach but it is good for u if u wanna stay in quiet place (Btw, they provide shuttle car every hours). There is no sound from pub/bar. Recommended!

Excellent customer service and hospitality across all areas including the restaurant and the spa. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. Room was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, itā€™s the best hotel bed Iā€™ve slept on. You get a beautiful view of the mountain and of Ao nang from the balcony aswell as the restaurant. There is a call to prayer but it is not for long it passes by quick. There are mosquitos so be cautious to spray repellent when sleeping

Good resort with nature all around, very helpful staff there to assist any needs that you have, thereā€™s a little hike to get to the new part of hotel, but they have a little transfer cart to get you there if you ask. Spacious and clean rooms, would recommend

BEST HOTEL EVER! I stayed in many hotels, what I can say is that Phu Pi Maan hotel and its staff are outstanding! Such a kind staff, courteous and helpful! The rooms are very clean, breakfast is extremely delicious! Very relaxing stay in a good location! They provide a free shuttle to the beach! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE STAYING IN KRABI, AO NANG

The room was really spacious, and there was a day bed and balcony as well. Too bad our balcony did not have the mountain view. 1km++ to the beach, but they provide free shuttle service every 2 hours during the day, every hour at night. The hotel is located kinda uphill from Ao Nang street, where youā€™ll get a lil taste of hiking.

After being in Thailand for three weeks this is by far the worst place I've stayed. We stayed in a one bedroom villa. The highlights of our stay was: Ants running on the walls inside the villa, waterleak in the kitchen, only Thaifood in room dining options even though menu has alot more to offer. We tried to take the hourly shuttle to the beach 2 times but we're rejected because of "traffic". You should also try to arrive to breakfast early because at 10 there is not any food or drinks available and the staff don't care. Overall, terrible. EDIT: i forgot to mention the cockroaches in the room

I stayed here as a solo female traveller and felt safe and welcomed. Rooms were clean and the staff were super helpful. The views from the rooftop were such a great addition to the many pools the hotel has and I loved being up there. I gave 4 stars because I was surprised there were non-slip mats on any of the uphill surfaces and I slipped twice due to the rain. It's a health and safety issue that they should really look at with all the uphill climbing there is to get to our rooms/restaurant etc

Honestly this feels more like 3 stars hotel than 4. Food is barely decent. Some issues with the room such as Safe not working. Not enough glasses to drink etc.. Pools not clean.

A very nice hotel! There are 3 different, beautiful pools, the rooms are very large and spacious (very nice balcony) and the grounds are very green planted. We enjoyed staying here very much.

I really enjoyed my time at this great hotel. The staff is friendly and the hotel is family friendly. Its a little hike to arrive in the hotel but its worth it.

My fiancƩ and I had a lovely stay. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and answered all our questions about transport, where to eat and things to do. The environment was very peaceful, the views were amazing. For me the Azan (call to prayer) was not too loud and the room was clean and spacious.

We were a group of seven from Singapore on our second stay here. Still excellent service and food. Staff are very friendly and helpful with local recommendations for cuisine and activities.

This hotel is totally lovely. The owner is very friendly and well guide around here. All the facilities is clean, new, and spacious. I stayed in pool access room and it is totally amazing. The swimming pool is large and clean. The view in the morning is breathtaking with mountain view. I love it. Even this hotel is not located next to the sea, but I can buy a trip to island from here, then there is a van to conveniently pick me up at the hotel. I absolutely recommend this place.

We had an amazing time in this resort, the room was huge, clean and the wifi was strong because we WFH in this resort, so the wifi test was passed, not a hot season in Krabi so the resort didn't provide a buffet breakfast, but they have another option for us, a la carte menu, foods were amazing, a big portion with nice view in the morning, resort staffs were very friendly and helpful, will definitely when coming back Krabi to stay in this resort again, highly recommend.

Beautiful resort, friendly staff and tasty food. It would be 5 stars but I give 3 due to the mosque 100 meters away and it's 100+ decibel speaker and 5 calls to prayer along with 3-4 other hourly calls I'm unfamiliar with.
