Sawadee
kah!
My
wife
and
I
stayed
at
Rayavadee
mid
February
2023
and
had
an
absolutely
amazing
time!
This
resort
is
massive
and
is
mainly
made
up
of
small
2
level
bungalows
(some
with
private
pools)
that
have
a
living/relax
room
on
the
ground
floor
and
bedroom
on
the
2nd
floor
(with
the
largest
bed
I've
ever
slept
in...though
the
mattress
is
fairly
FIRM).
The
rooms
are
definitely
one
of
the
highlights
of
staying
here,
a
very
unique
"hotel
room"
where
you
literally
feel
like
you
are
in
a
tree
house
on
Gilligan's
island.
The
grounds
of
this
hotel
are
massive
and
immaculate,
with
3
beaches,
3
restaurants,
a
large
pool,
and
a
breakfast
area
that
is
2nd
to
none.
You
are
literally
sitting
basically
in
the
middle
of
a
jungle,
being
served
a
wonderful
breakfast
that
has
anything
you
could
want.
The
jungle
vibes
are
real
here,
we
saw
monkeys/colorful
birds
every
morning
above
us
during
breakfast,
or
simply
walking
down
to
the
pool/restaurant
in
the
evening.
(Surprisingly
friendly
monkeys
that
kept
to
themselves!)
Definitely
book
a
evening
at
"The
grotto"
for
their
twilight
dinner,
you
get
to
sit
next
to
the
beach
in
a
private
"cave"
and
watch
the
sun
go
down
as
you
feast
on
delicious
food
(tomahawk
steak
was
perfect!).
We
also
really
enjoyed
our
dinner
at
the
Raitalay
Terrace
restaurant
as
again,
we
were
seated
right
by
the
beach
and
watched
the
sun
go
down
with
very
delicious
Asian
inspired
dishes.
The
service
here
is
absolutely
perfect.
From
the
check-in
process
(
shout
out
to
our
host
Luna!)
to
the
pool-side
waiters,
the
people
here
are
super
friendly
and
attentive.
We
always
had
a
full
drink/
small
snack/
beach
towel/
you
name
it/
etc.
We
always
try
and
order
room
service
on
our
resort
stays,
just
to
see
how
it
goes
and
here
at
Rayavadee
they
nailed
it.
We
ordered
something
off
the
normal
"in-room
menu"
without
any
issues
whatsoever,
and
the
food/drinks
arrived
within
20
minutes
or
so
super
hot
and
delicious!
Like
a
well
oiled
machine,
they
have
an
excellent
system/process
setup
and
it
really
shows
in
the
execution.
One
thing
to
keep
in
mind,
this
resort
is
definitely
on
the
higher
end
when
it
comes
to
price
point
(5+
stars),
and
there
are
several
other
hotels
on
the
island
that
are
not...
so
if
you
leave
the
resort
you
will
experience
a
whole
mixed
bag
of
other
travelers
enjoying
Thailand.
Just
walking
from
the
resort
to
the
Railay
west,
you
will
encounter
many
back-packers,
smoke
shops,
and
bars
catering
to
a
more
raw
demographic.
We
had
no
issues
with
any
of
this
during
our
stay,
just
something
to
realize
since
Railay
is
a
fairly
small
beach/island
and
there
are
other
resorts
besides
Rayavadee
here.
We
didn't
use
any
of
the
resort
activities
as
we
had
booked
other
excursions
(Phi
Phi
/
Hong
island
/
etc.)
through
other
providers
since
the
resort
offering
were
absolutely
on
the
high
end
in
terms
of
price,
however
given
how
this
resort
is
run
I
am
100%
sure
you
get
what
you
pay
for
as
everything
we
experienced
at
the
resort
was
incredible
and
on
point.
I
would
absolutely
recommend
this
resort
to
anyone
visiting
or
staying
overnight
on
Railay,
and
would
definitely
love
to
return!
