Beautiful hotel, with great amenities provided. There's pool side massages or luxer massages in the spa. There are two pools, one with a view over the ocean, one more secluded inside the hotel. You can dine seaside in the restaurant, or enjoy the bar from a relax seat with view over the ocean, with music to set the mood. At 21:30 every evening there's a fire show.

Great location in Aonang beach, lots going on, for example an excellent fire show. The food was decent,my room was a good size. The pools were nice but could have used more shade. The front staff were very helpful during our stay. There was a good mix of people/visitors so we had a few chats with our neighbours at the pool lounge. The staff are kind and helpful like most people I have met in Thailand. BTW if you like live music visit Boogie Bar, the local rock bar.

Nice resort with clean rooms and good amenities. The staff are very friendly and house keeping promptly responded to our trouble with AC. The location is awesome and right on the beach with restaurants travels and massage centers in walking distance. The beach bar is one of the best and the fire show is breathtaking. Overall we enjoyed our six days of stay.

It's an OK resort that has clearly lost its luster over the pandemic. On the outside - it's beautiful! Located right at the beach, the resort also features a garden, two pools, a huge reception area. It looks inviting. Equally inviting are the staff: they are friendly, helpful and caring. Unfortunately, the impression quickly changes once you get to your room. The facilities are clearly aging, the rooms have a musty smell, the bathrooms and showers are begging for renovation... The signs of resort's former glory are everywhere, but "former" is the key word here. Aonang Villa Resort has seen better days and it may still see them in future, but for the price they are asking they need to up their game.

What a nice Resort! We really much liked it and we plan to return again during this trip. The location of the hotel is so well. Directly at the beach and everything you need is close at hand. But nevertheless it is a qualm place where you can relax and find a lot of spots you like. Several pools to relax, direct beach access, good bars and nice guests. The rooms are spacious, well maintained and clean. We never missed something at breakfast. Everyone is engaged to make your stay as nice as possible. The management is doing such a good job to get all up and running again after Covid. We saw many hotels before that lack to do so but this hotel management is doing such angood job. For a school project of my son we had to inform us about how they deal with the environment. We were really impressed how helpful the General Manager and the Front Office Manager have been for this and how much they care about the environment behind the scene. Overall a really good experience that we can recommend.

Only location is the plus point otherwise nothing worth mentioning. Maintenance is not good . Cleanliness is not up to the mark. Most of the amenities in the hotel are closed or not functioning. This is May be due the after pandemic effect. Very few rooms are occupied in the hotel . Area wise quite big . In our stay there was power cut also for few hours ! Hotel services are not good. Very few support stuff. Breakfast was alright though . Unfortunately overall not recommended.

Excellent huge resort with very friendly, polite and professional staff, located in front of a beach and opposite to shopping places provided at a reasonable rate makes Aonang Resort Villa the best resort I have ever been to. Our room had every single amenities we wanted like spare umbrellas in case of rain and spare handbags for shopping which I have not seen in any other resorts thus far. The staff there were very polite and professional and took care of all our requirements with a smile and positive attitude. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a stay in Krabi and I can honestly say this was the best resort I have been to for the price charged.

This is without doubt the best hotel and service I have ever encountered. I cannot find anything negative to say about this place and believe me I am one to complain. Trust me do not go past this hotel you will not be disappointed... more than 5 star 🌟

The rooms are clean, property is quite huge, staff is friendly, room clean up is done well, great swimming pool. Buffet is also diverse with a variety of European or Asian food. It’s also got a direct access from hotel property to the beach. Only downside would be lack of room service after a certain point of time - this makes it hard to get water or food at night.

The resort is fine if you’re just stopping in Krabi on the way to somewhere else which is what we did. Overall it feels a little rundown and could do with some TLC. We booked a “sea view” room but could barely see the sea from our room. The room decor is quite garish, pale purples with silver trimmings….The breakfast is quite basic and it didn’t feel very clean. The resort just needs a bit of care overall and some attention to details.

Very helpful staff, clean and spacious room. Had a great time here. My favorite thing here is breakfast with the beach view. And the island tour packages prices are also cheaper than outside if you book at the hotel reception. And the tour company they arranged for us is perfect and very organized. The swimming is quite big and stunning view with the mountain behind.

Great for value ! We endee up moving here after cancelling our other hotel after 1 night. This place is great for value, quiet and offers a lot in regards to an in hotel restaurant and bar , fire show and spa etc. The grounds are lovely with little gardens , pathways and rivers. It feels way more resort like and something you can relax in and escape from the busy beach front. Location is perfect and it's has two pools , one close to the beach and one behind so two different ambience. The rooms are a good size , perhaps a little dated but comfortable and clean. There is a good little play room inside and outside for children and lots of grass areas. We are loving our stay here and are glad we changed hotels to come here instead.

The receptionist was very rude, there was nobody to welcome you or help with luggage in and out of the car. The toilets in reception and by the pool were disgustingly dirty and when I asked to use a different toilet because those ones were dirty, the receptionist just said there aren't any other toilets, and sat back down (didn't apologize or arrange for someone to have it cleaned). The pool bar (pictured on the website) is non existent and is used as a storage place. The bed is rock hard, the "shower" was terrible, very small and mouldy. We booked 3 nights and left after 2. Avoid this place. Right next door you can find a much better place for a much better price.

It's one of the best resorts in Krabi in terms of service, comfort, cleanliness and location. Staff is very kind and helpful. Very beautiful resort located on the beach side.

The hotel surprised us in every single aspect, and we simply loved it from the first to our last minute in it. Every single employee made our 1-week stay memorable. From the receptionists to the housekeeping, from the door man to the people at the pool bar, from the breakfast people (the chef is a lovely person) to the massage women beside the pool....we cannot say thank you enough to express our gratitude for all your work. We will be back for sure !

Great place to stay, it’s a simple resort but clean and everyone is friendly! We learned about the fire show across the street which is a must-see. It occurs each evening around 6:30pm. The food is great here and the views are some of the best in Aonang (located right on the boardwalk). Worth a visit!

Overall I think it is good. Yet we met a group of local tourists they almost occupied the whole restaurant at the last day of my stay. I cannot really enjoy my breakfast so I went out for Macdonald. And they have a loud music at night. Otherwise it will be a nice stay.

I was there with my family and really enjoyed our stay there. One of the best resorts in Aonang with amazing location, Sea view rooms, Parking area. Their Service is also great. The only thing I disliked is boring breakfast

Loved the hotel a few small issues with the location which is no fault of the hotel. Staff were fantastic and polite and everyone was very nice. I would suggest not having the fire show every night which includes the same music and entertainment once you've seen it once that's all you need. Also pool bar music needs to change the music on a rotor or something the staff must be going crazy listening to the same songs every night. But that is not a complaint just constructive criticism I loved my stay there and would go back again and again.

The hotel's location is the best. Most of the staff is helpful and kind. Always smiling 😊. The room cleaning was also on time every day. You can choose variety of food and drinks for the breakfast. The staff said the chicken might not be halal so we did not consume it. Especially I liked the Pineapple 🍍 and Basil mixture detox drink. That was so tasty and awesome! I only have this concerns with the camera. The TV in the hotel room has a camera on top. I'm not sure why? Want to film guests? I hope the management get rid of those tv cameras asap. No one wants to be monitored.

This resort is situated off the main road which is nice compared to other local resorts. Very convenient access to the beach and long tail boats. Rooms are nice and comfortable, but the air conditioning is sketchy...sometimes it just stops cooling for no reason and requires a power-off reset to restore operation. Water quality is good, and both swimming pools are well maintained. Staff is super polite and buffet is good and varies from day to day. Beds are very comfortable and pillows were very good as well. Hot water is excellent, but getting that perfect warm temperature in the shower can take some work. Provided shampoos all smell like baby powder... Blehhhh. Staff provides bottled drinking water and rooms have small refrigerators. Bedside power plugs are worn-out and won't hold on to anything plugged into them, so they're basically useless.

The location was great, although right in the middle of the shopping, restaurant, bar area, the resort had a long secure drive way that removed us from all the noise from the street. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel staff were very helpful and it's nice to be so close to the beach.

Overall terrible experience we had to check out first night of multi-niggt stay it was so bad. Paid for one of their higher end rooms "sea view". We couldn't use the shower the water would go hot then cold then steaming hot every 5 seconds. The bed was literally a piece of wood with a sheet over it. Absolutely the hardest bed I ever lay on. Seaview was not really! You are facing in the direction of the ocean but you can not see it because of trees and the angle of rooms. Breakfast buffet was poor. Not terrible but below average. We paid three times as much for this room then similar rooms at other resorts. The money spent didn't buy us any luxury. Not sure if the fee is for location as it is in a good location but I suggest you spend your time and less money elsewhere. The manager was nice and tried to find a solution but he can't fix the hotel plumbing!

Stayed there on numerous occasions. I think the dreaded Covid got in the way of timeous room upgrades, as some rooms remain a bit tired, but we were upgraded to a newly refurbished room and it was comfortable and clean. Management were quite responsive to some non-conformances reported. The breakfast area, however, is in need of a good upgrade and better management, especially during the breakfast period, where certain foods ran out and could not be replaced timeously. However, the hotel is well and strategically placed, in particular the beach bar area. Unfortunately, the pool bar was closed for our entire 11 night stay. I would however stay there again.

The hotel is all about location... Service till this point is satisfactory.... But I have some observations. We have taken 2 rooms - a superior double sea view and another grand superior double room with sea view which was obviously more costly. However I would recommend people not to be under the impression that this grand sea view has a better view. It does not.. in fact it's view of sea is pathetic ... Only on paper. The only grand thing is a lil bit bigger size room. Not even a bathtub is there in this grand room. So I wud recommend all not to waste money. Also in toiletries only big bottle of shower gel and shampoo. No conditioner or body lotion. Hence you shud be prepared. Food is alright. The bar is in a nice place with yummy cocktails. U can c sunset from here if it's not raining or cloudy.

All great apart from when we arrived after 27hrs travel they wanted to put an 11 yr old in the same double bed as 2 adults and when challenged advised a z bed would be an extra cost. . Not a great first impression, every thing else after that was perfect , great hotel, lovely pool , lovely staff , great rooms.

Nice big beautiful resort, direct access to the beach... At the moment, bc of COVID, not many guests, so great opportunity to visit relaxed Krabi before mass tourism starts...

Third time here and love it still. The location is great- close to the beach as well as street shopping/restaurants. Rooms are big and clean, staff here are really friendly. The burger at the beach bar is AMAZING.

From what I understand, Aonang Villa Resort has been closed during the Corona epidemic and this probably affects my review. Not all facilities have reopened. E.g. The menu at the restaurant is very thin compared to what you usually find in a Thailand restaurant. the staff seems to have been hired recently, they seem to be nervous about making mistakes. Ordered taxi/van to get to airport, we have been contacted 3 times to confirm.

We stayed at anong villa for 3 days. We would just like to give 10 star rating for the hotel. First the location of the hotel was dreamy and felt like heaven The excellent service by the staff is something to be rewarded. We were so happy and elated with the service the staffs provided with happy and soulful dedication. Whenever we travel the stay at anong villa will be in hearts forever. The hotel is built by providing the best amenities giving importance even to the minute details required during the stay. Immediate staff response was really great. The room, pool ambience, garden everything is mind blowing. Overall the experience at anong villa is the best we ever had. We will come back to krabi just to stay again.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic, right on the beach, bar overlooking the beach, 2 swimming pools and very close to restaurants etc. VERY nice rooms for about 60 usd on Expedia. Also 15 minute longtail boat ride to Railay Beach.

This is an amazingly perfect property from every sense. Firstly the location of the property couldn't be any better . It's just next to the main market of Aonang and has an oceanfront cafe. You can party as much as you want in Krabi pubs and it's just 2 mins walk to the room. The view from the property is stunning. It's so picturesque from everyy corner . Aonang Villa has two gorgeous large pools , one with ocean view and the another with gorgeous and gigantic rock view . Unlike others the property is very proper 5 star category. The rooms are preety neat and clean and the service is also decent .

Beautiful property, amazing views, professional staff and kind treatment. We had a great experience. However, the fitness room was terrible, smells like mold, mildew, and fungus. No attendant, no towels, no cleaning. I know they will do better after Covid-19 recovery.

Really nice hotel, spacious room and great views available. I chose pool view, which offered amazing views of the pool & cliffs. Positives: - Fantastic location, walking distance from many restaurants and bars. Easy to get local transportation from right outside the hotel - Great pool with amazing cliff views - Access to beach - Fitness centre available - Decent buffet breakfast available. Offers tables with a nice beach view to start your day off - Staff on reception extremely friendly Negatives: - Limited fitness centre equipment (really aged). It would be really beneficial to look at upgrading or increasing in size - No English TV channels were available (80% of the channels listed on the TV were not available) - WiFi connectivity wasn't the best from the room.

The place looks like it need a lot of maintenance. Didn't feel much welcomed. No servies what so ever except at the breakfast. For the record, the breakfast was also very poor. You could argue that it was less guest, but it should be possible to close dowm part of the hotel and serve the rest properly. Pool and table tennis was hidden down in a molded basement. Same with the gym, it had an awful odor. The hotel is from 1989, it really need some love. The rating is far above what it should be. Stear clearly away.

Summer 2019: Had a lovely experience. The location is right on the beach road and the restaurant overlooks the sea. The swimming pools were good.. Enjoyed our stay.
