So I looked for an cheap hotel with air conditioning and booked am hotel room at the hotel seaworld. So I got there and checked in but they didn't have any ink for the printer to scan my passport so I had to walk in every one hour to ask for the check in because they told me so. But it only worked out after the 3rd time. That can happen so I was happy to enter my room to cool down from the trip. When I entered the room i recognised that the air conditioner is not working. That was my only requirement so I went down to ask for that. Ms Pong, the owner, just told me that the air conditioner has to be charged extra even if I booked it with air conditioning. Even after showing her my booking confirmation with the air conditioner she didn't agree and let it off. Also when I arrived she was complaining about my wound which I unfortunately got and told me to to watch out for it so I don't make the sheets dirty. But still agreed and never mind. Even more after telling and confirm her all the facts I had she wasn't comprehensible at all to turn on the air conditioner. At the end I just took another hotel for the same price but with a clean room and an air conditioner close to it. All in all i never had such an bad experience like that in the sea hotel. Even if Mrs Pong is nice at the first moment you should be tricked by her.

We booked air conditioning room and the lady said that we had to pay 100b more to get the AC. Also, she didn't have place in seaworld so we had to sleep at the guesthouse on the left. Bed was very hard.

Pong, the owner is a lovely person, helpful and very kind in all aspects. We got to stay there for quite a while even tho we just needed a place for a night before moving on but found it to be a very relaxing atmosphere. Stunning view from the balcony!! Nothing disturbing, super room service and warm hospitality. Very clean room, even every few days she would just come naturally and clean everything to make you feel everytime again to feel like home. It's soo close to Ao Nang Beach, you can walk there in just a few minutes and find all other shops or activities nearby. If you need some local tipps or advice, ask Pong, she is always happy to help wherever she can. Well-spoken english and has good understanding, always good for a smalltalk or even longer communication. Totally recommended!

Nice hotel, the room was fine and the owner is really kind and helpful!

We did enjoy our stay at the Sea World Guesthouse because of its location (less than 100m from the beach, 1 million restaurants very close) but above all for the incredibly helpfulness of its owner! She was absolutely kind with us (and my daughter aged 3), and answered our least questions. She advised, managed and booked visits for us with negotiated prices. We would have paid twice otherwise! At the beginning I booked for 2 nights but we stayed 6 nights more as it was so great. Rooms were spacious, cleaned; we appreciated security box, fridge, fans and aircon. Many thanks from my spouse and I and our little "Ling" ;-)

Cheap place, great if you are on a budget. I paid roughly $12 Australian for the small downstairs room with 2 single beds. Private bathroom and shower, no window but multiple fans. If you are backpacking with a friend 6 bux. The lady who owns it is great for a chat, knows a lot about the local area.

Worst experience ever. I would strongly advise against booking. The owner is a con artist. We booked our stay through a legitimate website only to arrive on the day of our booking and for Ms Pong to state that she does not work with said website any longer. We paid 450 baht per night through the website however she told us that the rooms were 750 baht per night and that she had tried to contact the intermediary to decline the booking but couldn’t get through to them. I don’t believe this was true and we saw our reservation on her computer (after asking to see) with all of our details. She knew she was not going to accept our stay and didn’t try to contact us when “she couldn’t contact the intermediary”. She offered us one night at the increased rate of 750 baht. She didn’t seem to be bothered at all that she couldn’t fulfill the booking and it was though she anticipated us showing up as she was ready with her multiple excuses. We ultimately just had to leave and find alternative accommodation (it was Christmas Day). Untrustworthy owner, avoid!

The best value for your money in the area!!!! Right by the beach like 2 min! Cleanliness 100%! They changing everything evey day. Great shower and great view from the balcony. Be aware in this area there I alot of trashy places that worth nothing. The staff is very kind and warm. It is not a party hotel! It's a cool chill place for good people and family's. I wish to give 0 star. I booked a room for 4 nights and got delegated to the hotel next door because there were no rooms for us. Also, when you book this place, bear in mind that you pay prapobly for room without AC. Wich is confusing because the site (agoda) is saying the room has AC ( room name is a big fan) So first night she says I will stay 2 night in hotel next door. Which was much lower standard than her. ( I pay the same money then booking in that guesthouse) Then, after 2 days, she was not even willing to face me to talk about that situation Overall, I'm just disappointed, nothing less, nothing more. I hope I can change your mind to not book at that place. Hope you all the best

Old but very clean. The cheapest accomodation in the area, perfect if you are looking a good and quiet place for sleep in a budget :)
