Great hostel that organises many activities and beach transfers, which was perfect especially for a solo-traveller. I did the seven islands tour and it was really nice. Staff are very organised, helpful and friendly. The rooms were big but each bed had curtains to help provide privacy. The hostel also has a pool table, lounge, darts and beer pong. The staff make an effort to include everyone and create a very sociable environment!

Hostel was very nice, it was really social with lots of activities but still quiet at night and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. However, it unfortunately is only 3 stars from me as I barely slept a wink due to the A/C in my room not working properly. I raised the issue with staff, however they were unable to fix it or provide a fan. I've seen many other reviews flag issues with the A/C in their room so consider yourself warned!

Stayed here for 2 nights earlier this year and was highly disappointed in my stay - a complete let down. They completed botched my airport shuttle pick-up, I paid them to book and they gave me a ticket, but didn't show up. Waited an hour and a half, couldn't reach any staff member by 7.30 as none of the emergency phone numbers picked up. Flight was at 9. Had to run to get help at a hotel next door who was so helpful, called the shuttle company - apparently they had no booking under my name. I had to rush to a few businesses down the street as no taxis were available, and someone managed to flag down a guy who drove me, but in the end I lost the 150 baht to K-Bunk AND had to pay 3x more anyway to get to the airport. Nearly missed my flight and subsequent connections, and caused SOO much stress. When I reached out to K-Bunk they said that apparently the shuttle was waiting for me and I wasn't there, which is an absolute lie - told them to check the CCTV and got no response. There are a number of other complaints (one of local staff was unaccommodating and had such an attitude when I asked if I could check in 25 mins early as the room was actually ready,... and I was so jet-lagged that I thought I'd pass out) but no point in making this any longer than it already is... Also they say the beach is a 15-minute walk away - it's not. And I walk at a decent pace. As you can't give negative stars, I'm giving the star purely for the only good at K-Bunk which was how amazing the British guy (Chris) at the front desk and one of the volunteers (Alex) were - they were so helpful and went above and beyond, the definition of excellent customer service. Honestly the only good thing about this place.

I enjoyed staying here a lot. The Hostel is clean and has nice courtains and a storage area on every bed. There is also a nice little social area directly in front of the hostel were you can always meet some nice people. Special thanks to Chris who improved our experience by organising board games and trips to the best bars of Ao Nang in the evening.

The breakfast is amazing, perfect for after one of the pub crawls, can't recommend this place enough, the thai staff are all friendly and so are the cats :) Ac and curtains in the rooms was a bonus

Superb social hostel ! Did not get to stay here unfortunately but hung out at Kbunk every evening meeting lots of people and getting free taxi shuttle down to the bars. The reps were brilliant at getting everyone up for the night out and on the boat tour James especially was great at making sure everyone was having a good time. Thank you to Chris and James, absolute legends Would recommend this place to anyone seeking to meet new people and have a fun time

Great hostel, even if you want to go just for a drink and hang out. However the rooms, food, drinks and games really make it the place to stay

This was a great place to stay. Although it is a little far from the beach, there is a free shuttle provided down here, and to their sister hostel which has a pool you can use for free. The common area has a pool table, is relaxed during the day and sociable in the evening. The staff were all really friendly and fun. And the cats are gorgeous

Amazing hostel! Hostel arranges different tours, free pub crawl 3 times a week!! Food is really nice. Very social, rooms are nice with curtains and good aircon! Drinks are cheap compared to other hostels I’ve stayed in in Thailand. Staff are super friendly aswell!

What a vibe! Love the hostel! Pool table, darts, beer pong & area to just chill & socialise. Met so much incredible people! Staffs are awesome, always so helpful! Super easy with tours & transfers as they organise it as well! Spacious room, bed is great, curtains for privacy, AC! FREE Bar crawls 3 times a week! WOOO! 💯 would recommend!

Zara, Joe and Shani are the best. They gave me a good time at K-Bunk! But also the Accommodation is really nice and chilled, always clean as well!

I Booked this hostel mainly because of al the positive reviews I read. Of course I have to say that I don't really understand how this hostel can have 4.5 star rating on google as it is in my opinion one of the worst hostels I stayed in during my 4 week travel through Thailand. Compared to others the rooms are very basic with bad working A/C, not too friendly staff and also not really cheap. Also the location is not good as the beach and center of ao nang is quite a long walk. At least they provide drinking water and help you with excursions. The atmosphere with the other guests was also nice. So don't get me wrong, its not a bad hostel bud I would never rate it 4.5 star as there are way better ones for even better prices. Update: if you read the reply of the company you know exactly what I mean... again: it is not a bad, but also not a good hostel IN MY OPINION. Google review is made to give your opinion. That is a personal thing. Thank you though.

Great social hostel! Probably one of the best ones I have stayed at during my trip so far. The hostel is very lively and social, great to make friends and go on tours with. The staff was really helpful and kind, and they always tried their best to help me out. They can also help book tours for you at discounted rates and help you collaborate with others in the hostel so you can make some great friends. The hostel also has two cats who come and say hi every now and then but they usually only stay in the front open area so if you are allergic or afraid of them they won't disturb you.

I stayed in a 4-bed dorm in the First K-Bunk Property and the experience was amazing from the check-in to the check-out. They conduct a lot of social activities and the team that manages them is exceptional(a special shoutout to Matt). Every staff there is just so kind and helpful and they never disappointed. Honestly one of the best hostel I have stayed in Thailand and would highly recommend it. FYI there are 2 properties which are located around 1km apart so make sure you follow the location from your booking and not google maps.

This has to be my best experience with this hostel. If you are looking for party hostel in Krabi, without thinking much, just go for this hostel. They have free Pub Crawls every day with free shots at each bar you go. The beach is just 20 minutes walk away. Ya Ya, the receptionist has been incredibly helpful. She went beyond to sort my issue out related bus booking.

I had a fantastic stay at K Bunk Hostel in Krabi. Host Yayaa was incredibly welcoming and friendly, which made my experience even better. The hostel itself was clean, comfortable, and had a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend K Bunk Hostel to anyone looking for a pleasant and affordable place to stay in Krabi.

The beds are good and they had curtains. The facilities weren't really clean and there is only one shower and toilet for 16 people. The beach and the walking street are 10 minutes on foot and on the way are many restaurants and food booths. So although it is quite a walk I found it entertaining.

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of the hostel. The rooms were spacious, and the beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. My stay here was incredibly pleasant. I ended up extending twice as I found it hard to leave due to how social it is. With help from the reps and helpful staff we were able to create a lovely k bunk family. They offer many night time activities, especially the free pub crawl. Room are extremely clean and beds are comfortable. Anyone stopping off in ao nang, I highly recommend you stay here. You can thank you later haha

I had a very pleasant stay here. The staff is very welcoming and makes sure that nobody gets bored! It is a good hostel to meet other travellers and to party, but if you want to sleep, you can sleep - the dorms are quiet and clean. A note for fellow touring cyclists: They have a locked basement for safe storage of your bicycle!

Had a great time in K-Bunk! Very social and easy to make friends. Everything is clean and the dorms are really nice. The prices in the bar is affordable, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Would definitely go back!

This place is up there with some of the best back packer hostels. The owner of this place really cares for his guests and his staff and you can tell from when you walk in the door. Staff are helpful, informative and friendly. Hostel is clean. Rooms have privacy with curtains around your bed. Bathroom on all 4 levels. Living Room has X box, play station with games and Netflix and free water machine! Very important in Thailand. The food on offer is also very good and they have free BBQ every Sunday. One of the best places to find variety of local and Western food. Tours are a little pricey, but worth the money. You can either go to the jungle, or visit islands. Pub crawl is also good with the slumber party too. You can catch a bus to the beach which runs throughout the day directly from the hostel to the beach and back again.

We had a great time at this hostel. Definitely the quieter version of its big brother 'Slumber Party'. The staff were nice and the rooms were clean. The bathroom amenities were a little lacklustre but clean. The beds have privacy curtains, plugs and lamps which is amazing. There are only small lockers for personal belongings, so your bags stay out in the open. The cafe downstairs serves great food (though a little pricey!). We went on their 4 island tour and had a great time, though it did feel a little bit like being thrown back into freshman year of college... Would definitely recommend this place. They even have 2 wifis, so that if one is down you can use the other!

Before my trip to Thailand, I had my hesitations sleeping at hostels. After my experience at K-Bunk, I don't think I'll have hesitations again. I had the most amazing time at K-Bunk and it was easily my highlight of my travels. The rooms were spacious and each bed had 360° curtains, a personal cubby and light. The bed was okay, not too firm or soft, and the blanket was clean and soft. However, my only issue with the rooms would have been the AC. One of the bunks covers a portion of the AC and since its already a big room, it can get pretty warm. Other than that, it was great! The atmosphere was perfect, relaxed vibes, so if you're looking for a party, look at their sister Hostel. At happy hour, you're likely to. Meet other travellers at their porch drinking and having a good time. Some of best people of this trip I met during happy hour at K-Bunk! The service was amazing, they were always quick to help a lending hand when we had questions or hesitations. They even help you book tours, taxis and transfers. If I ever find myself in Ao Nang again, I'll be looking to be book my nights at K-Bunk again! Looking forward to meeting new people!

There is nothing special about this place except for the environment & the hospitality that the people who work here give you. It's really a 5 star service! It's just amazing! If you are lucky, you will find yourself new friends from overseas! It's safe, not complicated & very convenient. 7 Eleven is not far from this place & a small mini market too. The only downside is that it's far from Krabi town, more or less 30 mins drive, but near to the beach. But if you come for the beach, it's not gonna be a problem.

Was here for 2 days and wish I could stay longer. Great atmosphere overall. The dorms are clean and comfortably spacious with a nice common area to meet people. Tai and Mem (staff at the hostel) were amazing. They took all of us out at night and ensured everyone was having a good time! Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a social vibe and want to be able to connect with new people.

Stayed in 12 bed dorms and was very comfortable with Aircon and curtains. Bathroom and showers were good and clean. Location was good and they offer mopeds for hire which is cheap and easy. Staff are also very friendly and help with any queries.

10/10. Don’t hesitate to book this place, you won’t regret it. Mem and Tai who were the main 2 staff at the hostel were absolutely class, so helpful and friendly - made our trip to Ao Nang memorable and honestly we already miss this place. No sexy time in rooms.

I stayed at K-bunk 2 closer to the beach, but that’s not on Google maps yet. The hostel looks like a drab large facility where they’re trying to pack a lot of people in and out. There’s no kitchen or utensils, microwave or computer to use. No breakfast. They won’t let you share a bed even if you book individually. The dorm room was dark and cold. The staff didn’t want to talk to us any more than necessary. The vibe was very white undergrad drinking and partying. On the upside, the hostel has basic amenities and is clean.

I loved every second that i spent in kbunk. Sebastian and chris are amazing. Everyone in the hostel was extremely friendly. I didn’t do my booking online and showed up directly at the hostel at night. They were completely packed , There were only two beds left that they don’t sell , but because it was late and i was alone they got that extra bed ready and accommodated me. 🥺 They organise amazing pub crawl nights and have plenty of tours you can do. The washrooms and beds are extremely clean and hygienic. Thank you Sebastian for accommodating me that day❤️ The hostel is extremely cozy and great for solo travellers, and extremely safe for solo female travellers. Would recommend staying here when in ao-nang 100%.

Bathroom situation wasnt the cleanest or my favourite but other than that, staff was so kind and the dorm rooms were pretty good too! Lots of activities, drinks, and food too. Its about a 15-20 minute walk from the beach.

This is an extremely social place where many people have ended up extending their stay or switching from.other hostels/hotels. The staff are brilliantly helpful in booking activities and transportation and are experts in nightyl pub crawls. The location is on the main drag of Ao Nang and surrounded by plenty of restaurants, food stalls (check out thee catfish across the streett or the veg place a few doors down) laundry facilities and convenient stores 20.walknfeom theAo Nang beach but everyone usually goes to other islands for nicer beaches...or Railay Beach. All are cheap and easy to do for a day or half day trip. K-Bunk is legit!

The Staff is great and the owner helps your in everything, with a great spirit. Great hostel to interact with new people However, not clean, smells bad and the rate of 10 is waaaaaaaay overrated :(

Price is cheap, the bed is comfortable and the atmosphere is nice. Hostel is very socialize, good for the solo backpacker who are traveling to Krabi.

Accommodating across the board. Very social vibe at this hostel. AC keeping the rooms fresh. Every day you have the option to book a group tour and every night you have fun drinking buddies. Free beach transfers, too. This place is the ideal hostel for young travelers. Everyone is so friendly. Also, they serve really yummy food. 10/10 can’t recommend enough. If you’re in Ao Nang you want to stay here.

(Stayed September 2019) K-Bunk staff were very hospitable to me and were able to make arrangements on a very short notice! Rooms had comfortable temperature. They have food and beer at specific times if you want to take advantage. I even had a giant fiasco with an ATM at a 7/11, and one of the staff who was also Thai helped me make a call to the bank to get my card unstuck from the ATM.
