One of the best hostels we’ve stayed in! Every where is clean, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was full of variety and yummy! The staff were amazing! Even on the night when we went on a pub crawl and it ended up with me too drunk, passed out on the bathroom floor (not my proudest moment) but the staff were very helpful and caring towards me and my friend. The hostel offers a variety of activities everyday and tours you can book through them with reasonable prices Would defo recommend and stay again

Staff very friendly. Roms and poll very clean. For vegans, breakfast every day free: pineapple, watermelon, coffee, tea and water - 7 AM until 11 AM - kitchen following all rules in Asia!

One of the best hostels that I have stayed so far in all my past travels. No doubt, this hostel lives up to its reputation as one of the best hostels in Asia. Reasonable price at 270 baht per bed per night with a sumptuous and delicious breakfast every morning. Very friendly staff to talk to and wonderful service by them. There is a nice pool at the back that every guest can use it and free shots for guest that stayed more than a night at the bar. Here, I made quite a lot of friends. Toilets facilities are adequate and clean, great shower pressure with hot water. Rooms and beds are clean and comfortable. Interior design is stylish. Location is perfect as the hostel is situated right in the town centre. Very good experience for me during my stay in this hostel. It ended up that I stayed for quite a number of days in this hostel.

Great hostel, always clean. The dorm was spacious and the bed was comfy. You can chill here and socialise at the hostel bar of you want to. It's a decent location and the breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and can help you book lots of stuff at reception of needed.

One of my favorite hostels in Krabi area. Comfy and nice beds with curtains giving you privacy. Rooms are specious and facilities are clean. Great breakfast offering you fresh fruit, eggs, toast and coffee or tea. The hostel also offers transportation to island and other areas around.

This hostel is so lovely. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere as there are lots of communal areas to meet and talk with people such as the main lobby and the bar. Very close to lots of great, cheap restaurants and the fantastic night market (go there if you have the chance it’s great). The beds are comfy and large with lots of space in the rooms. I genuinely have no complains. Also it’s right across from a Family Mary so late night snacks are easy.

Good: Great location across from the excellent Ole bar, big lockers (you need to bring a lock), good facilities. Bad: Very hit or miss with receptionists. One was very nice, the other was much more concerned with selling me a trip to Ko Lanta without caring at all if I'd found any accommodation there. If you don't want blackout drunk, rapey English beerpong bros trying to talk to you at 1AM, absolutely do not stay here, as they make up about 70% of the customers.

Pak-Up Hostel is the best hostel we've been to so far. Such a cool little community. Staff are so helpful, we went on the tiger cave excursion. Be prepared to walk some stairs because that's tough, we have a private room which I carnt say a bad thing about.

The hostel is clean and tidy though lacks that bit of warmth more popular hostels have. The amentities are bare basic within the private rooms and you have to climb many floors each time you need to get to your room. But overall, the staff was cooperative and the beach was only a walk away so really can't complain for what we got in this price range.

Stayed here one night, came out to the hostel bar and the best thing about this place is the bartender his name is witt! Witt was lit! Fun guy! dont play beer pong against him, hes a professional

Hands down the best hostel in Krabi so don’t consider staying anywhere else. A former converted elementary school the dorms are spacious and clean and named after different school subjects. The staff were super nice especially Mui Kaa who helped my girlfriend and I with booking a bus for visa run trips to Malaysia and places to go in Krabi. The included breakfast is also first class.

I recently stayed at the Pak Up Hostel in Krabi and had a fantastic experience. The first thing that stood out to me was the friendly receptionist who greeted me upon arrival. They were so welcoming and helpful, answering all of my questions and making sure I had everything I needed for my stay. The hostel itself was clean and well-maintained, with comfortable and spacious rooms. I appreciated the fact that there were lockers provided to keep my belongings safe, as well as a common area where I could relax and meet other travelers. The location of the hostel was also great - it was a short walk to the beach and close to many restaurants and bars. I was able to easily explore the city from this convenient base. Overall, I highly recommend the Pak Up Hostel in Krabi to anyone looking for a budget-friendly, yet comfortable and welcoming place to stay. The friendly receptionist really made my stay extra special, and I had an incredible time at this hostel

The stuff is not helpful at all. I did want to stay in this place yesterday. Came without booking and asked kindly to give a lower bed in a dormitory due to my recent knee surgery. The girls in the reception weren’t so sure, kept saying they don’t have any but never cared to check the rooms to see there is one available. Coincidentally my friend was upstairs and asked the guys in the room. There was one non occupied. Even though I shared my disappointment with the stuff, they didn’t care to apologize at all. Such a nice hostel but careless stuff!! I would go and stay in somewhere else in the town.

Great location, close to some of the best food markets I’ve eaten at. Beds are clean, comfortable and the common areas are nicely laid out and kept. I was very impressed with the breakfast and the reception make it very easy to book activities and buses etc. Highly recommend for Krabi

Nice hostel located at prime location. The rooms are good and more spacious than other hostels in same price range. The washrooms are okayish. It has functional gym and a common area. As common area is located near hostel entrance, you will find folks there and you won't feel bored. Lockers are provided along with bunks. The breakfast is free and was good!

Fantastic hostel, best one I've stayed at. Very clean, great breakfast, great atmosphere. Shout out to James, Pao, and Mui for being nice, helpful, and friendly throughout my entire (3+ night) stay!

Great hostel, many activities, reception is helpful and attentive. Not all the beds have curtains around, which is the only downfall. Otherwise it was amazing. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, clean bathrooms, relaxing hot and cold showers, many facilities and has a gym and bar. Great place to stay when visiting Krabi. Highly recommended by a female solo traveller.

The manager was so kind to us. we were unable to find a taxi over to the airport at peak rush time but he offered to even drive us himself or give us cash for the ride. Very selfless and gave us true hospitality.

The one hostel i keep coming back to whenever I am in Krabi. Great place to stay and close to adventures. A more authentic stay as you are in Krabi town away from party central Ao Nang. But still easy to go to both Railey beach and Ao Nang. Don't miss the street markets or tiger cave temple

Had hoped for more from this hostel. Not really social and also the beds are not so good. My mattress was quite saggy and on request, all are so. The breakfast is probably the best in the whole hostel. The staff is also extremely friendly and helpful. Showers and toilets are also more than clean and fully functional. Wifi has also worked perfectly.

This was my first time staying at a hostel and I was worried, but it turned out to be a very comfortable stay. What impressed me most was the hospitality of the two female reception staff. I am Japanese and know Japanese hospitality, and the response was as perfect as Japanese hospitality. I would definitely like to use it again if I come to Krabi. Arigatou!!

[28Feb2023] The staff were friendly and helpful to provide all the information I needed when planning for my exploration. The dorm was nice and comfortable with big lockers to store your belongings. The bathroom was clean with hot water for shower. The breakfast was simple and nice.

Very cool hostel. Nice firm, comfortable beds with curtain for privacy, little shelf with socket and ligh and big storage you can lock with your padlock. Showers are awesome. Great water pressure. Place is clean and very comfortable. All common areas are very nice too. Definitely good place to stay. Close to a night food market and jetty.

This is easily one of the nicest hostels I’ve stayed at in a long time! Super clean, hot showers, friendly staff, and close to everything including beach and pier to islands. Also easy to rent scooters and book tours. The building used to be an elementary school with a playground and was converted into a hostel with renovated rooms, kitchen area, and bar. Highly recommend staying at Pak-Up Hostel when you visit Krabitown!

The experience of hostels will always be partly effected by the people you meet, and stay with. But I can say that the hostel facilities, layout, solutions etc. is perfect in my opinion. You have a nice big bed with curtness. A big lockable storage under the bed, and many charging points. It is possible to clean your cloth (extra charge), work out on the roof, and prepare a meal in the first floor.

Really liked my stay in Pak-Up Hostel. Nice interior, helpfull staff and nice soft beds. Pretty clean and all the facilities you need. It's close to the beach and easy to reach from the harbour. Only a 16min walk. would recommend!!

Welcoming staff and cute hostel! They have a little market in front of it that has really good seafood and bars surrounding! Not that many people there now but great in-between city destination

I wouldn’t recommend this hostel to anyone since the bed sheets were extremely dirty. Not very clean in general.

For me it was the best hostel in Thailand I've been to. I liked it a lot and still thinking about the good time I had there. The vibe of the hostel is so positive. Modern and nice design of the whole building and areas, very comfortable beds with good privacy, good AC, great common area which makes it so easy to see fellow travelers with nice bar and music and different games, kitchen and fridge , helpful reception, good location ( close to many markets and shops but far from the beach) and the last day we had a gym activity which we worked out on the rooftop with great view it had and was so much fun. can't wait to come back there again

One of the bests hostels I stayed in Thailand. The rooms and bed were super comfortable. STaff is very helpful and they had washing machines in the hostel. Bathrooms and showers were amazing. Bar is very social to meet new people. Location is great, next to food stalls, restaurants or anything!

Great clean hostel in the heart of Krabi town 3 blocks from night markets, social vibe with plenty of activities and a late night bar. Thoughtful room design with space for luggage and plenty of outlets bedside for overnight charging. One snafu: thought I booked a shared airport shuttle for 120 with the night staff for the next morning. However morning staff said no reservation has been made so I had to rush and take a private taxi van for 400thb. Be aware that transfers & activities are only confirmed once you have paid & received a receipt, somehow the night staff didn't make me aware of this. As the staff was friendly otherwise I chalk it up as a misunderstanding more than anything else.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. Squeaky clean with spacious bedrooms and large beds. Very friendly helpful staff and good location. The Playground bar is the place to be and Witt the barman is fantastic, complete legend and really goes out of his way to make everyone feel welcome 🙌🏽

This place was excellent! Clean beds and an extremely kind staff. Witt at the playground bar was very helpful with the beers! There is a good place to play pool at the bar. Good location to hop on to a boat and go for the island tours as well. All in all a wonderful hostel in Krabi town!

Good location in Krabi town. Opposite is a motorbike rental place and tour guide which we used everyday to explore Krabi. The hostel is good however the beds are ROCK SOLID !!! 🗿
