An awesome night out! If you’re in Ao Nang a night at Boogie Bar is a must! Delicious authentic Thai food at great prices, as well as Western food, old-school cocktails and top quality spirits. The staff are very friendly and they have a brilliant band with live music every night, playing hits from the 60s to now. Do try Boogie Bar!

First of all: I went to that bar more than 30 times. I wanted to give a 5 star review first, most of the staff is amazing, but since there happened a lot of bad talking about me and I also got treated really bad I am not able to give more than 1 star, because one guy/two guys of the Band and the Owner totally destroyed my experience in Ao Nang. I recommend reading old reviews. The owner said that im a "young spoiled kid" (excuse me?) after I bring enough money to the bar. But a lot of evenings one guy in the band denied to play my song request because he simply doesn't like me for "whatever reason." - He was saying that I'm not a customer. Wow?! I pay money - so yes, in the moment I pay money on so many nights I'm a customer. The owner may reply "you got free water" - yes, I got free water (9 baht water - sold for 100 baht , maybe now 50 baht) for maybe 4-5 nights. That's it. I still am a customer who bought a lot of drinks there before. And on nights I pay money I did not get my song intentionally. How i know? Since I'm not going to that bar anymore they play the song every night. It's inmature behaviour - and also very disrespectful. Because that bar destroyed my time in ao nang and everything that happened is linked directly to the bar, staff of the bar (band members, working there = staff) and the owner of the bar. And I want to mention it again: I spent money there. I was a long-term customer. And this is def. not how you treat a customer. I bring people to the bar, I've made advertise for that bar. I was thinking a long time about writing a review. I gave them a chance to make it better. Nothing happened. I have never received an apology. I am not afraid to show who I am - if anyone has questions to my review and my super bad experience feel free to write me a message.

Was quiet on the night we went. Saw the great reviews so paid a visit. Then I saw the drink prices! 240Thb for Jack Daniels, wow. 60Thb more than Bangla Rd. The place isn't worth $10 JDs.

A cool bar with live music at nights. There are always a lot of party people and the atmosphere is great. You get seated with good sight to the stage. So just get there and enjoy your beer, cocktail and listen to a great live band.

Bunch of racist people. Good music, good ambiance, but only whites are treated well. The live music, food, and drinks were good. But not at all worth it unless you’re white and okay with this behaviour. Not feeling great after this experience. :(

Come here every night for music. They always change up the songs and let people have a go on stage if they know a good tuneee. Super fun bar. Good drinks. Fast service and amazing people. They have a pool table!

The music here was better than at some of the other nearby places, but it was the same singer every night. We would have liked more variety, especially since the same songs are heard at every bar. Drinks are okay. Toilet is disgusting!

Very rude waiter wearing glasses. She told us that she hopes we will never come back again. Just because i told her that she let to sit a couple in front row and did not let us sit there. What an ego! Disgrace.

Talented musicians playing and singing modern pop music, mostly in English. Great night time atmosphere. An enjoyable venue for music lovers.

The "Banana Band" were absolutely fantastic. Played everything from chilli peppers to acdc to Nirvana. Got the joint rocking. Plenty people from new York, Rio, Switzerland and Belgium. A right freindly bunch. I will return ! Also happy hour all night which means buy one beer get one free 🤣🍺

Outstanding bar! Literally 100 feet from the bar top to the beautiful sand beach. Live bands are on point and the bar is set up acoustically so there's no weird echo, just crisp music. Not to mention the prices are good and the drinks come out quick. Definitely stop in for a few! Also, best selection of rum around, and lots of fans!

Staff 5* Prices (too expensive, also compared to other bars, even PhiPhi is cheaper): 2* Music (Singer seems to be not motivated?): 2* And when we started dancing they changed music to a song where you cannot dance to. There are better bars in Aonang.

Absolutely gem of a place very near the Ao Nang beach. We stumbled due to live music but the band, and good beer, ambience and lively crowd surprised us for sure. The band was also exceptionally good with ability to play almost any English songs / other places played a lot of Thai songs but this was an exception in my that sense. And then The place also had a snooker table in between so pretty good time spent Definitely recommend while you are in Krabi

Can't say anything for the food as I didn't try it. But the drinks, the service and atmosphere are great. They have two house bands, the first (a duo) play an acoustic set. Both are brilliant musicians. And the second more a rock band. Their female vocaliat is particularly good. Highly recommend

Great rock pub which is open till late night, the live band that played was superb and we really had a great time listening to the music. The service is fast and vibe is great too. The only thing that didn’t work was that they had no food in their menu like not even chips and nuts which is a little disappointing if you wanna chill there for a while but besides that it’s definitely a must visit place if you enjoy this music and like a vibey a place to chill at in the evenings

Came here 6 years ago, so it was good to find the bar in between the tailor shops. As ever the service is fantastic, quick and efficient and the live band are absolutely amazing! Loved sipping our cocktails with a great atmosphere!

We stumbled upon this place while walking on the streets and boy it was amazing. They have the best band and live music in Krabi. The singer, lead guitarist, drummer are so fine artists. They lit the entire place up. Had a very good time here.

Amazing place!! A little difficult to spot because it is a bit inside.. we went at about 5.30 so it was quiet and nice.. food was decent.. at 7.30 the live music started, which was good too. Overall, one of the few good bars to visit in Krabi. I would recommend it to other travelers as well..the good options are a bit less but LEO is great!!!

Best bar in Ao Nang! Great live music - the band is amazing - , plentiful of cocktails, shots, beer and draught beer too. Super friendly personnel. Don't know about the food but I've seen people ordering it, I guess it's ok. The highlight is a pool table free of charge. Mostly it's busy but if you're lucky you can hit a few.

I stepped in to this bar with my boyfriend and we saw that they have live music. We asked for a table, and a table of 4 was available. We told them that we are waiting for 2 friends. Since we arrived until our friends were there, pasted about 20 min. In 20 min, they came to ask as 4 times when my friends are coming. After our friends came, we could finely enjoy the music that was really great!!! We had lots of drinks, but every 10 min a waiter was coming to check if we want more. After every order we were asked to pay and a waiter made a sign to my boyfriend that he should tip him. We felt a little intimidated by this behaviour. After a wile, a women (I think she was the manager) asked us to move, because she wants to give this table (a table for 4!!!) to 6 people. We simply told them no and we haven’t moved. At some point, we decided to leave and just before leaving I told the women that the music was amazing but the service was horrible. She stepped back and screamed: “DON’T TOUCH ME!!!”, I told her “I was just giving you a feedback” and she started to scream “GO AWAY, GO AWAY!!!” I understand that their job is not easy, it’s hot outside, but this is not the way you treat your clients!!!!! P.S. The singer in the video is really talented!!!!!

Music no doubt excellent from guiter to drummer and singer brilliant. I spent 3.5 hrs fully enjoyed it. They won't allow to seat if you don't order drink. I went for bathroom for less than 1 minutes and someone cleared my table which was full of more than half glass of beer and my starter. I had to call waiter and they brought back every thing. Thought to go next day but drunk foreigners take over the stage and songs . So waste of time. Management don't manage those drunksters.

Very atmospheric and friendly place to vibe to music! Staff is nice and helpful, and the performing band was insanely good, these guys are sooooo good! Don't miss out on that place, had a lot of fun!

Boogie Bar, one of the best bar at Ao Nang where you can enjoy happy hour and the nightlife happenings. Went there a couple of nights as the live band (which usually starts at 9pm and last till 130am) is really good. The whole band, every instrument player as well as the lead singer are really good at their stage presence. This won’t be the cheapest bar but it is definitely a place to visit purely for the live band and liveliness almost every night. The vibe is fantastic and is a highly recommended place that a tourist should visit when on vacation at Ao Nang. Food wise, the fried pork belly is good as finger bites and we went for some Chang draft 1 for 1 and some cocktails. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

10/10 recommended!!! The duo who performed from 7pm-9pm were amazing. There were a lot of audience interactions and everyone could sing along while they constantly ask for song requests from everyone! All the staffs also join in the fun and it was such a fun / chill evening for us.

Good place with live band. Friendly staffs and chill environment, price is average. Between a street and white relax you can walk people passes back and drink and enjoy music performance. The lady staff very nice in taking photo.

If you like a cool bar with a great atmosphere, and excellent service you must try the Boogie Bar! The Strawberry Daiquiri is an absolute must try and they have 'happy hour every hour' with buy one get one free small, medium or large beers all night long.. Staffs are really friendly and funny, they spend the night dancing and singing while they serve the drinks! They are all stunning people, helping us as well as entertaining guests The band played reggae and Spanish music, along with other well-known songs. They have get everyone up dancing.

Loved this bar, my favourite place to go so far. Great live music and you can put in requests for songs. Really good atmosphere with lots of singing along. Loved the toilet sign 😆. Boogie Bar is definitely worth a visit 😊

Brilliant 3 nights at the Boogie Bar listening to amazingly talented Blue Steel till late into the night - brilliant atmosphere, incredible band and reasonably priced drinks. Found this music “live band” bar when looking for some decent music instead of the usual “party hostel” music, didn’t disappoint!

Boogie Bar is back! Pandemic survivors and thrivers. They restarted the same atmosphere I remember from 6 years ago. The live music is outstanding, service amazing and great prices. Not to be missed if you’re in Ao Nang. Why are you glad to be open again I asked the owner? “Everybody needs a friend” ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Super Bar with great Live Music. Little Tip for the band and they change to your favorite music😄. We always go for a beer in case we are for holiday in aonang. Check by yourself, you will surely not be disapppointed.

Great choice of reasonably priced cocktails. Lively and diverse range of live music. Seating for both smokers and non-smokers.

The live band was fantastic and the cocktails were great too! Most cocktails were 200BAHT and they tasted like proper quality cocktails! Probably best cocktails I had in Thailand and so far ☺️
