I think 400 THB per person is excessive because the pool is overcrowded and you can't really get in. The Blue Pool (600 meters further) is nice to look at, but you are not allowed to swim there. Crystal Water is more of a green liquid ;)

A nice nature excursion. Natural mineral pool within the forest. Well cared for. Interesting trails. There is an entry fee. Can get crowded during peak holiday times. Quite a distance from Aonang or even Krabi town. Best to come in the mornings when it's cooler. Expect a walk to see the blue pool & it is a must see. Take a dip in the emerald pool before heading back. There are bathrooms to wash up. Friendly rangers to ensure safety & provide guidance. Definitely worth a visit. Takes around 3 to 4 hours total to & fro.

Beautiful natural pool with clear blue water and packed with people. Very slippery on the edges be very careful. There are multiple pools in the location and Emralad pool beautiful among all of them. You need to uphill walk around 1 km to reach. You need pay 200 bhat entry fee.

(rus below) It’s better to come here when it opens, because tourists arrive at 11.00. From 10 to 11.00 groups of Thai tourists can arrive, but they do not swim in the lake, they just take photos. My photos and videos were taken at 9.30 It is not allowed to bring food or drink, although we had a bottle of water. But they ask to check the bags. Ticket for adults 400 baht, for children 200 baht (for Thais the ticket is 20 points in total) I advise you to immediately go to the emerald lake, take a swim, and then go to all other locations. Otherwise, some people get stuck at the entrance and start taking pictures of the river passing nearby without thinking that there might be a full pool by the time the get there. Near the emerald lake there are places to leave bags and places to change, however it is better to come already in a swimsuit because changing places are not very comfortable. In front of the entrance there are many food shops, cafes, shops with inflatable accessories, and clothing stores (cheap! What was unexpected), fruits are sold (a bag of watermelon - 30 baht) Car parking costs 40 baht. Walk 150 meters from the parking lot to the park entrance. From the main entrance there are two roads, one 800m, the second 1 km. I advise you to take the short route and return 1 km, then you won’t bump into tourists taking photos. Cash only. Tourist rip-off and disappointment My experience at this place was disappointing and frustrating. As a foreign visitor, I was faced with a price premium of more than ten times the domestic price (Thais: 30 baht, foreigners: 400 baht), which for me is a clear form of discrimination. This type of pricing is unfair and takes the charm out of the visit. Furthermore, it was disappointing to learn that swimming in the Blue Pool is not permitted and the place is completely overcrowded. Pure sales and souvenir rip-off. This information was not clearly communicated and severely affected my expectations. For me the visit was therefore not worthwhile and I would advise other travelers not to waste their money here.

though crowded with people, it was still pleasant enough to enjoy a dip in the pool. had to line up a bit to get to the other blue lake which is quite hidden and not allowed to swim. however, this emerald pool can be slipper so be careful when going in. amazing to see such greenness!

The parking place has a fee of 30bath. It is about 1.6km walking distance to the hot water emerald pool. There is an entrance fee for foreigners. And it is worth the pay for that super environment. PS: no food is allowed to the pool.

The water is clear and fun to play in. The depth is in the middle of nature. But walk a bit far..😁😁

Highly recommended! We visited as part of a tour. We arrived early and it wasn't too busy. The walk is about 2 km to the furthest pool which you can't swim in, It's best to visit that one first then walk back and swim In the emerald pool. Our son went the following day by motorbike and paid 400bht entrance and 15bht parking. There are small restaurants at the entrance before entering as food may not be brought into the park area.

A very nice place, we go there every year when we are on vacation. The water is crystal clear. A beautiful path leads through the forest until you reach the pools. But unfortunately the pool where you can swim is overcrowded with people. Still very worth seeing.

Emerald Pool is a beautiful natural pool located in the jungles of Krabi, Thailand. The pool is surrounded by lush vegetation and has a clear emerald green color. The water is cool and refreshing, making it a perfect place to swim and relax. We spent a few hours at Emerald Pool with our family. We enjoyed swimming in the pool, walking through the forest to the Blue Pool, and returning through the jungle. The walk through the forest was absolutely stunning. We were lucky to visit on a relatively empty day, but I imagine that it can get quite crowded on hot summer days. The bathrooms and changing rooms are clean and well-maintained. There are also snack counters, first aid assistance, and information available. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Emerald Pool and would definitely recommend it to others. Pros: * Beautiful natural pool * Lush vegetation * Cool and refreshing water * Quiet and serene atmosphere * Clean and well-maintained facilities * Snack counters and first aid assistance available Cons: * Can get crowded on hot summer days * The walk to the Blue Pool can be a bit strenuous Conclusion: Emerald Pool is a beautiful and serene place to visit. If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Thailand, then I highly recommend Emerald Pool. I hope this helps! 🙏

It's a stunning location, swimming is allowed at Emerald Pool. The pricing seems unfair 😔. Charging 400 Baht for access to Emerald Pool, Crystal Pool, and Blue Pool is too high for foreigners, considering it's only 20 Baht for locals. Despite the cost, it's a fantastic spot for a photoshoot and swimming, situated approximately 200 meters from Crystal Pool.

400 bath entrance fee. Taking the small path was great to see the jungle, the stream and pool with crystal clear water. Emerald pool is a nice thing to see and nice place to hang out for a while. On a wednesday in the end of november it was not too busy. The extra walk to the blue pool is also worth it. We took an InDrive car to take us to this national park, but in the evening it was not possible to find a car to bring us back with Indrive or Grab. We got a ride from someone passing by to the big road and then managed to get a bus to Krabi city, but we dont recommend doing it this way.

Actually not worth the money entrance fee THB450 with only emerald pool. But need to take the chance hike around 600m to witness the small blue lagoon

You can't spend a whole day there but you can spend hours. Too crowded. The area is quite big but the size of pool is a bit small though the water source is natural.

The water is so clean & clear as we can see the small fishes in it. To those who planning to go, please don't buy food, they don't allow food crossing in the gate except ice cream. Only buy when you walk out the gate.

Cool place in the middle of a forest. Has lots of visitors. Get a pair of clothes to enter the natural pool which was clean and naturally warm. You can do short hike till the blue pool as well. Nice fun place. Change of clothes are to be done in the washrooms which are not that clean and can be a bit smelly.

For me the center of attention is the forest trail to get to the Emerald pool. Wonderful scenery amazing light and a perfect spot for photographers. The emerald pool usually is full of people even off season however the trail will give you enough time to digest the scenery and press your shutter away from the crowd.

It's a wonderful set of ponds, worth visiting during the low season ( with much less tourists ) Take right way to reach emerald thru glass pool, but don't stop on emerald lake only, do few more steps to reach blue pool with unreal color. Only the drawback is regular greedy-thai pricing policy - 200thb for non-thai and 20 thb for thai nationals to feed the army of lazy people who don't even speak english to explain about the place.

Located around 70km from Ao Nang beach. Entrance fee for foreigner is 200 bhat (adult) and 100 bhat (kid). They not allow outside food to avoid trash. Ensure the suitable footwear because you will have a long walk to the pool area. There are 2 ways.. 1.4km walk, through a proper walkway and you can enjoy a beautiful view of the river and natural pool, or 800m walk through the normal track. I tried both and it's worth it!

Very nice natural spring pool in the mid of the forest. Clean toilets to change clothings at the visitor center which is 50m before the pool. Possible to take bath in the toilets. Good to walk in to Emerald Pool via the earth road (800m long)which is on the left side after the entrance and to walk out by the elevated concrete path(1400m long). In this way, you can experience both scenes along the way. The pool has bluish crystal clear water but too small for the big crowd after about 11.00am. Come early as it is open at 8.00am and closed at 5.00pm.

I would recommend to go early in the morning and go by motorbike there. We where at 1pm there and it was overcrowded. Price is 200 bath which was ok. Don't take the first entry where people staying in front. It's a fake entry and you pay 10 bath for the motorbike. The normal entry is 50m next to the other one. The pool it self is nice.
