Beautiful location for sunrise! They opens at 5.30, there are options to get to the view point 1) walk steep steps 15-20 mins or 2) ride (50B for round trip). There are many photo spots and actually panoramic to see at different time of the day. However it is popular to go in early morning to see fog (if it rains during the night, you can sure see fog in the morning).

If you are wondering where should you see sunset, this place is for you. Gorgeous panoramic view of mountains and ocean. They charge entrance fees though but it it totally reasonable. You need to climb up for 500 meters and then you will meet coffee shop and a breath taking view point. Don’t miss the sunset and don’t go down too late. It is quite dark and rocky pathways. I’ll definitely go again!

What an amazing experience. This is a must visit location. I could stop right there but I'll give you some details. It was 50 baht (about $1.50 USD) to enter, 20 baht for my Thai wife. Just pay when you reach there. It was about half an hour's ride from our resort at Ao Nang beach and it was no trouble for the 155cc Motorbike we rented for 300 baht (around $10). There's a short walk to reach the view point, but it's a pretty steep grade. We arrived before sunrise while it was still dark so we brought a flashlight, which was nice to use even though the path was semi lit with solar powered overhead lights. At the top there is a local style restaurant with restrooms. They offer breakfast and coffee/tea. I highly recommend this place. What else are you doing at sunrise anyhow?

Best to be there before sunrise. After 9am is already hot. Not comfortable for breakfast because not all sitting tables are covered by roof. Just go up, take photos quickly and go down. Hiking up 500m is kindda tiring for some people. You also need to pay 50 bath to climb up.

Amazing. I suggest getting there 30 minutes before sunrise to get the best shot. Walk up isn’t bad but if you don’t plan for it you might run a bit late. Cafe is very nice and they are there early before sunrise, very nice. Soon after sunrise it got busy but still worth every minute. Stayed for over an hour and 1/2.

Great view with relatively easy effort to go up ( comparing with Dragon Crest hike). It would be really great to come on a good day with sunrise view. The place is open from 530am. Better to wear shoe than slippers walking up , especially in raining days, the road can be a bit slippery. Parking space available right at the entrance/ ticketing area. It’s a pity that cafe on top was closed when we visit on a Wednesday morning - not sure why.

Drove up from Singapore. Meet this place by chance. Really glad we made the turn. Entry fee + transport up the slope. Viewpoint is worth the trip. Killer view. 360 view of Krabi. Food is affordable and tasty. Highly recommended.

Let’s get some facts straight. It costs 50 baht just to enter with no ride. It is like 100 meters to the top and takes 5-6 minutes which would be silly to have a ride. I went at 9:30 on Monday and there was no ride and nobody there. Busy times are right at sunrise and around 8am rush. The view is still great after sunrise. Cafe is nice and cheap and not overpriced but nothing fancy. A few people showed up and were all on their phones the whole time. Try to detach from needing to take pictures to share the moment instead of enjoying the actual moment. Disobey the media gods and the mediated experience of life for the sake of your own freedom and enjoyment.

Nice view spot. Hike to the top was easy, even in flip flops. About 15 minutes walk and suitable for all except the elderly. At the top, you will enjoy a beautiful view. There's a very small cafe serving drinks and some food. There are some shady places for eating and drinking, while enjoying the view. Toilets were clean. There were a few basic A-frame huts half way up, didn't notice the nightly rate. Shaded parking area was a bonus. Entry was 50b per person, maybe a bit high for what is provided, considering they make money off food and drinks at the top of the hill.

the dual pricing is somewhat ridiculous even though it's a small fee. locals 20 baht, foreigners 50 baht. national parks charges less for locals because they pay tax. it makes no sense for a private property. fair that they charge whatever they wish, to me it's a sign they do not welcome foreigners. The roads become less and less maintained the higher up you go. it turns from paved road to dirt road. slippery when wet. Viewpoint is really a hit or miss. I wont recommend this place since it's quite far from town / Ao Nang

A really lovely little spot for lunch or a drink with stunning 360 degree views of Krabi with ocean, islands, jungle and mountains. The walk up the hill is a nice little snippet of what a jungle trek would be like but is short enough for anyone to be able to survive. It would be best not to wear flip flops though. The food is very tasty, simple and affordable, as to are the drinks. The fruit smoothies were excellent. The staff are very friendly and welcoming too. It’s a great place to sit and relax for an hour or 2.

One of the best sunrise I have seen in my life. Go there before 6 (5:30 is just perfect) to enjoy it the best, and wait for the light to come up. from around 7, the restaurant opens and you can have breakfast with this stunning view. One of the best experiences in my life for 20 bahts !

As a solo traveler with no personal transport, it's a bit risky as Grab might fetch you there but you can hardly hail any Grab from the vicinity. To catch the sunrise, you need to be up at the cafe by 06:30AM. This place opened at 05:30AM. To get to the cafe, you either hike for 15min (fit) or more from the guard house OR you may pay 30baht for their shuttle songtheaw. The food sold at the cafe is very very reasonable and tastes not bad for both coffee and food. It took me 30min to travel from Krabi Town to DDD with traffic condition of 5AM in the morning.

A very nice spot! Stunning views but not too much of a walk. Trainers are recommended though. They have a small selection of food and drinks which were very tasty and great value for money. 50 baht entrance fee. Definitely worth a visit!

The hike is super easy 5 -10 min one way. The place has a very nice scenery I'm not sure if it's really reasonable to take 50thb fees per person but at least prices in the cafe on the top are not very high. I've got a good Thai tea for 35thb . So yeah 4/5

Nice spot with great viewpoint, i think there are some rooms for rent as well. Its a bit of a hike, about 500 meters but pretty steep. You pay 50 baht to enter, and i think 100 baht to have a tuktuk give you a ride up. There is a small cafe up top with decent simple menu. Pretty affordable for the location.

Went to see the sunrise but beaware that the place is very crowded, even on Monday morning. Got there at 6am and there was already about 60-70 people. Otherwise the view is amazing and you can feel humbled in between the nature. If you are thinking of ordering food then be prepared to wait for about 45 min to an hour for a toasted bread and fried eggs. The people are very nice but they just need a faster cook to manage all the people. The place has a lot of potential and the entrance fee of 50 baht for foreigners could be much higher

So beautiful and hidden away. 10 15 min walk and then a cafe and great views!

A beautiful viewpoint with a cafe at the top run by a friendly couple. I forget exactly what the entrance fee is but I think it was 50 baht. They said the hike is 50 min but it’s more like a 20 min hike (round trip) if you’re young and spry (although you’ll probably spend longer at the top).

Very nice viewpoint at day time or sunset, the entry costs 50 Baht each, parking in shade available, toilet on the top as well and clean. We walked 10-15 minutes with kid, it was okay.

After watching so many YouTube vloggers on tourist spots in Krabi, this place was never mentioned, came across it by mistake and so glad we did, it's quite a climb to the top but easy if fit (we aren't) but the views are more than worth the effort, there's also a really nice cafe at the top. There's a small charge to go up.

Must visit place. The route is very easy, it took us 15 min to get to the top: first you go up the stairs, they are really steep and then a short path up through the forest. They have entrance fee - 50 baht per person. There is a cafe on the top, and it would be much better to have these 50 baht as a deposit to buy some beverages, but there is no such option. You pay for the entrance and pay for some drinks, again icy smoothies which are more ice than fruit. It is better to come in advance before the sunset, because there isn’t much space to sit, only 6 chairs on the terrace, and they all had already been taken when we came. So we had to look at other people and couldn’t film the sunset. There are some chairs and pillows and a hammock-net on the spot, but to watch the sunset you’d better go on the terrace.

There is an entrance fee 50 bath. Really great to be at that place on the sunrise. It's better to come 20 minutes before sunrise to find a good place to sit and to order something. The coffee and roti were tasty!!! Many places to take beautiful pictures

Parking 50 per person, 500 m hike up the hill, on the top there is café with very cheap breakfast (around 50 bht). Its also cool to see moon set.

50 baht entrance fees, but we came at/after sunset so paid half the price. Amazing views 360 even after sunset and evening prayers echoing across the valley made the experience magical

A high viewpoint. The sea can be observed from here as well as the nearby jungle/rocky scenery. 50baht/person. 6-7min hike uphill.

Surprisingly an amazing viewpoint in a not so common spot. A very nice cafe at the top. We went there during the day, with a storm approaching, but even with not the best view, a great place to visit for the view and a drink!

Beautiful view, worth the 10 min "hike" up the hill. Entrance 20 baht

50 Baht per Person, short hike to the top. Trail is not easy for sandals, but totally worth it. Bar at the top and seating

Charged 50baht to enter but doesn't tell you that the cafe up top isn't even open

Nice place for morning sunrise watch. They also have a small local cafe with really friendly. The entrance is 20 baht for adult and you have to hike up a little to get to the top. Worth to get up there as we had a nice beautiful foggy sunrise.

Google maps will guide to a place which is 1/2km ahead but ask the local person for direction and they are happy to help. Place is great for sunrise and sunset.

Breathtaking view. Worth every step you climb.

  • 5/5 Stephen “Stevo” T. 2 years ago on Google
The views are stunning. You can look towards the sun rise across a vast Krabi Valley with mountains rising up in the distance or you can look West towards the sunset and Phang Nga bay with Khao Yao Noi in the distance.
