I booked in an eight bed dorm D2 or maybe B2 and there was a terrible mildew smell, including on the towel and pillow. The men's showers were quite dirty with a layer of dirt built up in some of the showers and no hooks to hang your clothing. Overall the hostel is lacking and maintenance and cleaning. The coffee shop also does not open until 10:00 a.m. which is annoying if you are a morning person. I have learned it is important to filter Google reviews by "newest" and not by "most relevant" as many hostels have fallen into disrepair during the pandemic.

The best hostel in Krabi, Love this place like my second home. Chilling and relaxing place with nature surrounding. Friendly and helpful staffs, good service, good atmosphere. The location is not too far from the beach, about 20 mins walk. Nearby 7-11, good food place name 11/1 Food & Cocktail and more.

Very comfortable, the staff is great. Quiet for resting in the hostel. It is a great and clean place where you can relax in peace with a friendly feeling of being at home.

The hostel is a bit older, the rooms not quite as fresh as probably a few years ago. The breakfast was also considerably reduced. It could well do with a new coat of paint and the garden a bit. The exchange of sponges in the kitchen is seen rather as something annoying, germ formation is pre-programmed here. Otherwise a little off the beaten track, which requires a certain peace and quiet, provided you do not feel disturbed by the rooster from 4 o'clock in the morning. The pizza that is sold next door is quite acceptable, for the price of 250 baht also feasible. Tastefully in the upper segment. I missed something the tomato sauce at the 4-cheese. The staff is nice but also slow, the waiting times are now and then quite long at the reception.

Enjoyed our stay here. It was clean, relaxing and good location, 15-20 mins walk from the beach. Stayed in 8 bed dorm and it was very spacious, bed was comfy. The only thing is you need to walk a bit to the toilet area and make sure you have mosquito spray ready at all times! Chill area was great but can be quiet at times. Didn’t get chance to get in the pool but looked decent. The lady owner at desk speaks good English and helped us book our transport to Phuket. Lovely stay and highly recommend!

Private rooms were huge and fantastically clean. Location was close to the beach but far enough off the main drag to be quiet and comfortable. Pool was a little cold but the common area was comfy and very accommodating.

The BEST hostel in Krabi! Amazing coffee and beautiful relaxing coffee shop and bar, stone oven baked pizza, beautiful lagoon-like pool, hammocks, co-working space, good showers, gym area, yoga space (and yoga lessons coming soon!) option to do your own laundry, clean and tidy, kitchen area, quiet area, close enough to town if you need it. A chilled hostel rather than a party hostel so a perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of Ao Nang. The staff are lovely, and there is even a friendly pet cat. 100% recommend!

The best hostel I've ever stayed at. Super comfortable beds with lots of space and privacy, and great common area. Would definitely stay again!

Really great rooms, good location close to the top end of the 'strip', few shops and restaurants right next door aswell if you don't fancy wandering down. Nice swimming pool, and the free tea and coffee making facilities is brilliant! Thank you!

TL;DR - comfortable and chilled out hostel; friendly staff; good facilities; decent location. Check in was quick and easy, and the staff were friendly. In the 4 bed dorm, the bed was comfortable, with A/C, a power socket, a bedside light and two storage spaces at the foot of each bed - one of them even has a lockable door (but no padlock is provided). Unfortunately, the wifi network which served my room was not working, so I could only access the internet in the common areas. Outside of the room, the hostel has a slightly confusing layout, but has good facilities including many spaces to sit and chill out, including hammocks and sofas. Amongst other things, there is a ping pong table (albeit with one broken ball), a dining area, a basic gym area, books, a guitar, drinking water machine and laundry area. A coin operated washing machine is available. Shower and bathroom facilities are good, but could be better maintained. The swimming pool is a huge plus. The hostel is situated a little further out from the beach, so has a more comfortable and chilled out feeling since it's not amidst the hustle and bustle; those wanting a party-vibes hostel might be better off looking elsewhere. There are some restaurants nearby, and it's a short walk from the main road with plenty of amenities like shops and ATMs. The cafe which is part of the hostel, Coffee Patio, does excellent food! Overall, Glur is a chilled out and comfortable hostel which was a pleasure to stay at. Absolutely recommended and I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Best hostel I have stayed in. Good good good vibes. Real shame they turn off the AC everywhere in the middle of the day but apart from that… 5*. Also get the pizza from next door!

The owner is fabulous and goes above and beyond for you. She let me keep my stuff in a safe room after checkout, and when I had an issue with n excursion company, she let me use her phone to call them! They place is super clean and the chill space is wonderful!

Loved this stay. Comfortable beds with your own big closet which you can lock with your own lock, clean bathrooms and nice employees. I forgot my hoodie and got it back the same day, because they got someone to bring it (I had to pay for transportation of course) but they really helped me and were so nice! The location is also amazing, if you walk 2 minutes you have a lot of restaurants and markets for delicious smoothies. Only thing is that the people that stayed there weren’t really talking to each other, so no opportunity to meet new people. But highly recommend!

Stayed for 5 nights in the off season (August). Staff were nice. Place was clean. Free breakfast is a plus. The vibe of this place is just great, such an amazing little oasis of calm they have built nestled among the beautiful scenery of Ao Nang. The beds are by far the best set up i've had in my travels, with plenty of privacy and secure storage (byo lock). Just note, it is a good 15 min walk to the beach so if that bothers you go somewhere else, small price to pay for the serene environment they have cultivated.

I would advise to not come at all and avoid ao nang area, but if you come here, then this hostel is great. Lot’s of room, chill areas, a guitar, free toast bread, workout area. Was bit emptish in november 5th, but it’s start of the season.

I stayed here for 2 nights and my stay was great! I was checked in but a smiley, welcoming staff member who spoke extremely good English! Check in was super easy and smooth which is always nice after a long day of travelling. My dorm was made up of 4 beds and it was a good size with plenty of room to move about. It was clean and tidy and there was a cupboard at the end of my bed to store my belongings which I really appreciated. I was given a fresh towel and thin blanket in my dorm which was a nice touch as I know most hostels don’t provide you with a towel - I know from experience. The showering/washing facilities were great! Super clean and tidy. Plenty of shower cubicles and plenty of toilets with a place to hang your things while you shower. There are clothes washing facilities in the hostel too which is great! There is also a very good sized kitchen area where you can make your own food. Free breakfast, tea and coffee was included!! This is fantastic for travellers in a budget. Nice pool and lovely relaxing area and big communal area and work area too. 5-10 minute walk from the main strip in Krabi. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was a lady across from me on the bottom bunk insisted on turning the air con off having the window and dorm door wide open which meant that the dorm was swarmed with mosquitos. Going forward, maybe there could be a sign to be more mindful and considerate implemented and put up in the dorm? I would 100% recommend staying here if you’re visiting Krabi and would stay here again!😌

Staff was polite & cooperative. Very neat and clean like homely environment. No need to concern on safety issue. It was worthy investment for me... 🙂

Very nice hostel. Garden and pool are very beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The coffee in the small integrated cafe is superb. Only negative point is that there can be many mosquitos when it's rainy.

Booked private rooms and really enjoyed our stay here. Affordable price and loved the vibe of the hostel! The host was so nice too and was so helpful when my friend lost her passport, the staff even drove us to find it. Would stay here again for sure!

There's not much else we can say, which hasn't already been said by other people reviewing. We loved our stay at Glur, and ended up extending twice - it offers such good value for money. Everywhere seemed clean and homely, and the hostel is well-equipped e.g. fully stocked kitchen and filtered water. We stayed during the wet season, so we encountered a few creepy crawlies outside amongst all the plants - nothing crazy though. The staff are all so friendly and helpful, and we found it very easy to communicate with them in English. The space is very chilled out, and we were happy to meet like-minded people who were also staying here. Our only gripe was that the pool could have been a bit cleaner.

Higher priced than other hostels, but well worth it. The air conditioning is ran all day unlike most other hostels that only turn it on at night. Free breakfast of toast and fresh fruit along with a pool make it the fanciest hostel I have stayed at.

Went there for a lunch, great food in nice surroundings. Was a long time that I enjoyed my lunch that much. I will be back.

Love this hostel in Krabi - nice, nature loving hostel with variety of room available such as dorms - 8 room, 6 room and even private rooms The place is well maintained and hygienic overall - it has overgrown plants and all but not to the extent to create an issue or blockade. It also has recreational activities such as TT, books, a working kitchen, fridge and all. There is also a cafe on the outside - but this has below average food

An oasis in Ao Nang. The hostel is gorgeous and the staff are wonderfully helpful. I extended my stay here to make use of the huge common room and pool, taking some days out to plan my onward itinerary. I appreciated being able to refill my water bottle and the excellent free breakfast. The dorms are spacious and comfy with lots of storage space. It was useful to have my own mirror. The AC works incredibly well. The toilet/shower block is large and clear, although I found not all showers run hot. The location is excellent, lots of eateries nearby and walkable to the beach, for those sunsets! The staff can answer any travel questions you have and the resident cat is excellent company too!

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Lovely little area, breakfast was fairly basic but still nice with different fruit everyday. Rooms were nice with plenty of space around the bed area. Only thing I could fault was the pool, they used salt water in it and after 2 days of being in it our swimwear and nails started turning yellow. Definitely recommend this hostel!

Out of the craziness on the sea road, this hostel has more than we needed. Beds (the most important thing in accommodation) could be much better though. Besides, there's hammocks for each room. The swimming pool is nice. The staff is kind and helpful. They let us use the facilities after checking out.

The common area is nice. Quite chill and cozy. The staff is okay. The facilities are okay. The pool looked a little off and not as inviting. I assume it needs more chloride. Not sure. The big thing for us, were the bed sheets. It seemed as though they didn't change them. So many spots and stains. Which we kinda were like okay...let's move on, but then under the blanket there was so much sand which confirmed our suspicion that they didn't change it. I had to ask 3 times for changing the bed sheets. The first time they changed the blanket and the mattress cover but not the pillowcases, so had to go back a second time. They said they gonna change it later in the afternoon which they didn't. So I had to go back a third time in the evening and change myself.

I miss that small cat! Such a cutie we had the pleasure to play with during our stay. I hope she’s alright. I don’t remember her name but we call her toothless! The hostel is great. Great service. Great interior amenities are sufficient. Would love to come back someday.

A great place to stay, off the main streets and lovely design. There are more rooms than you expect and even garden areas in the back. Lush plants throughout to make a relaxed stay. The people running it are amazing and sjpportive
