TL;DR
-
comfortable
and
chilled
out
hostel;
friendly
staff;
good
facilities;
decent
location.
Check
in
was
quick
and
easy,
and
the
staff
were
friendly.
In
the
4
bed
dorm,
the
bed
was
comfortable,
with
A/C,
a
power
socket,
a
bedside
light
and
two
storage
spaces
at
the
foot
of
each
bed
-
one
of
them
even
has
a
lockable
door
(but
no
padlock
is
provided).
Unfortunately,
the
wifi
network
which
served
my
room
was
not
working,
so
I
could
only
access
the
internet
in
the
common
areas.
Outside
of
the
room,
the
hostel
has
a
slightly
confusing
layout,
but
has
good
facilities
including
many
spaces
to
sit
and
chill
out,
including
hammocks
and
sofas.
Amongst
other
things,
there
is
a
ping
pong
table
(albeit
with
one
broken
ball),
a
dining
area,
a
basic
gym
area,
books,
a
guitar,
drinking
water
machine
and
laundry
area.
A
coin
operated
washing
machine
is
available.
Shower
and
bathroom
facilities
are
good,
but
could
be
better
maintained.
The
swimming
pool
is
a
huge
plus.
The
hostel
is
situated
a
little
further
out
from
the
beach,
so
has
a
more
comfortable
and
chilled
out
feeling
since
it's
not
amidst
the
hustle
and
bustle;
those
wanting
a
party-vibes
hostel
might
be
better
off
looking
elsewhere.
There
are
some
restaurants
nearby,
and
it's
a
short
walk
from
the
main
road
with
plenty
of
amenities
like
shops
and
ATMs.
The
cafe
which
is
part
of
the
hostel,
Coffee
Patio,
does
excellent
food!
Overall,
Glur
is
a
chilled
out
and
comfortable
hostel
which
was
a
pleasure
to
stay
at.
Absolutely
recommended
and
I
wouldn't
hesitate
to
return.
