Beautiful resort set in the jungle and with a stunning view of the cliffs. Great pool, decent rooms, and nice garden. The hotel doesn’t serve alcohol. The hotel offers shuttle services into town at certain times

Fantastic hotel in a magical location. We stayed for 4 nights in one of the Family Bungalows and it outlived all expectations. The accommodation is huge and spotlessly clean with lots of outside space (loved the hammock on the terrace) and the setting is just gorgeous. The gardens are extremely well kept and the pool is larger than it appears on the website with a gorgeous view. All the staff were lovely and we had a great time. Look out for the monitor lizards near the pond! No problems with mosquitoes - just keep the doors shut at dusk. Ao Nang itself was a bit more touristy than we'd have liked - but we found some great local food options by turning right out of the street - turn left for more European eating options/souvenir shopping etc.

Great accommodation. Well maintained nature sanctuary with helpful staff and love the pool with cliff view. We looked forward to the breakfast every morning which is right by the lake with plenty of nature. There’s also shuttle service to Aonang beach at 9am and 5pm. We stayed at the garden room which has a nice balcony overlooking the cliff. We tried their Thai massage which is also recommended.

We initially thought that it was a bigger hotel when booking, but even though it was small, it is a very pleasant hotel to stay in. The Staff are courteous and helpful. The Breakfast buffet is adequate and has a very peaceful setting. The food is not great at the poolside. I do believe that they are still struggling to acquire staff after the pandemic. As is everyone else in Thailand. Overall a lovely stay. Peaceful and comfortable.

Great hospitality and service. Very helpful with planning tours and nearby street is good. Only thing is that the resort is not on the main road, so you need to take a local tuktuk or walk 15-20 minutes. Rest all was fabulous.

Great, clean place! Saw a lot of animals around the resort common areas, including a Great Hornbill. Breakfast in the resort was also quite good and the variety changes daily; However it was a bit pricier compared to places out in the town but still cheap compared to food back at home (Australia). Service was top notch and staff were amazing and super friendly. Would stay again!

Beautiful place, really enjoyed the pool with a pretty view, clean and modern gym next to it. The room was very spacious and clean, the service was some of the best I have received in Thailand. It was also amazing value for the quality. It’s a little bit away from the centre of town but there’s a free shuttle going to the beach and back a few times a day.

Little bit further away from Aonang beach but that makes it more peaceful which is nice. The free shuttle service is also s nice thing. The pool is very nice, as well as the room en the staff, they do everything they can to make your stay pleasant

It is pretty hard to fault this hotel, as the price performance ratio is very good and I could easily recommend a stay here. As a traveling couple that is part of the LGBT we felt well cared for the by the staff. The ambiance was very quiet and relaxing which is a great change of pace from buzzy Aonang Beach. Like others say, prepare yourself for mosquitos with an effective repellent and you should be just fine. We didn’t realize this was a halal resort until after we booked but it did not negatively impact our stay in any way. There are plenty of walkable places to get alcoholic drinks etc.

Beautiful hotel, the best in Ao Nang! I stayed at Ban Sanai 5 years ago and I went back so much I had a crush for the place! Everything is still perfect: The rooms on the river have a magnificent view. You can see squirrels, colourful birds, lizards, etc. from the terrace, a pure happiness :) Not to mention the jacuzzi, the infinity pool, the friendliness of the staff and their excellent and varied breakfast. Unlike other hotels in the region, this establishment has a charm that one can only fall in love with. The only downside if I have to mention one is the restaurant which disappointed us a little with the pizza and a small amount of food. Thank you for this superb stay, I recommend it to all.

Amazing, amazing stay! We stayed at the Grand Pond View Cottage and you really feel like you're in an oasis of your own, with your own private villa and great views all around. All staff members are warm and friendly, and make you feel very well taken care of at all times. Every time we needed something, they arrived at our door step within less than 5min. At the reception, they booked us our own private tour for island hopping, inclusive of pick up and drop off from the hotel, which was also super. Breakfast is served at this tranquil hut above the pond. Really enjoyed our stay and so sad to leave, but feeling refreshed and energised. Already hoping to be back soon!

Incredible!!! The rooms are immaculate, beautiful and so well decorated. The food is great the pool is beautiful. The limestone cliffs are not justified by the pictures. We can't wait to come back!!

We had a 2 night stay at the end of our trip to Thailand and would have loved to have stayed for longer. We booked a grand pond view cottage and it was excellent. Spacious, clean and comfortable. The room had a mosquito net over the bed which we wished the other hotels had. Breakfast is great with plenty of choice. Staff could not do more to help. They organised taxis for us to go to Tiger Cave and the airport, as well as providing recommendations for a cookery school. They also run a free shuttle into Ao Nang, and a pick up service too. However it ends at 9pm but it is only 100-200 baht to get a tuk tuk back. Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel staff was very polite and willing to assist with any request we had during our stay. The grounds are beautiful, while located off the beat’n path, not totally out of walking range if fit. The room was fine nothing wrong, but nothing to brag about. The draw is the view by the pool. I did not realize this is a alcohol free hotel, but that does not retract from the high quality of the hotel.

One of the most beautiful place i have ever been. The hotel has made our trip to Krabi, the most memorable and mesmerising trip. I felt like i take a room and shift there only. The big mountain wall curtain, lush green surroundings and above all SUSTAINABILITY. the contribution of resort towrds conservation of earth is remarkable. There was NO PLASTIC policy which was shouting out loud. Be it the rooms, toiletiries, water bottles etc... All were organic. We have glass water bottles instead of plastic bottles. All the toiletries in bathroom were packed in paper. The hotel minutely took care of all the requirements of their guests. The swimming pool is recognised among top pools across world Restraunt was amazing and food was extra ordinary. My only destination in Krabi will be Ban sainai.

Location too far from everywhere but surrounded of nature and very quiet and peaceful. It Is a muslim friendly hotel, perfect, I'm too, I'm reading right now "Arabs" from Tim Macintosh-Smith because I love their culture and history very much. But what about the rights of the non muslims. We are in a buddist country. They do not serve alcohol ( I almost never drink alcohol but muy friends do). They close restaurant at 20.00h so you should go out for dinnerl, you haver excellent restaurant 5 minutes walking Restaurant 11/1). I'm Sorry but I do not know where the excellent qualification comes from. Service Is the only point really 5/5. According to my opinion the final rating would be 4.2 aproximately because it has all the facilities and surroundings to succeed but it is clearly wrong managed.

I wish I could give this resort 6 stars! Very unique and exotic room that will directly bring you into the zone of tropical vacation! Staff there were extremely professional and attentive and helpful. 5mins walk you can easily get some bars and cafes, 10mins walk to the Main Street where you find everything. I will definitely come back and recommend this place to all my friends and families. Thanks so much Ban Sainai for making an amazing holiday for us.

An amazing resort. Very clean, private, quiet, and spacious rooms. Great food at the restaurant and pool. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. The location is great with amazing views, and only a 5 minute ride to the beach.

We had the grand pond view room. Amazing place and i loved the welcoming hospitality of the entire staff right from front office to restaurant and room service. The property is beautifully located with a mesmerizing view and very serene and calm. They helped me with almost my every request instantly.

One of the best resort I ever stayed. The Pana cottage is nothing short of amazing. Having bathtub facing to the limestone is an extra. The cleanliness is on point. The bathroom is spotless actually. The bed is comfy and I love how they use the local fabric decorating the room. Not to mention the pool is 100% intsgrammable. The staffs are friendly, everyone greeted you with warm smiles. The special breakfast menus are generous choices on top of the buffet. The location wise is a bit out of center but that the reason why you choose to stay here. They have the comp shuttle bus anyway.

Just had a pleasant and enjoyable 6d5n stay in BSN. This resort exceeds my expectation for a 4 stars accommodation in terms of service, environment and food. I felt like I was living in a botanical gardens and had frequent visitors like squirrels. Staff always welcoming and had helped me a lot during my stay. The breakfast is one u should not miss, even though options are a bit limited. I especially like the pandan pancake and egg Benedict. Would definitely recommend this resort to my friends for their upcoming visits.

The most wonderful resort I had stayed ever. I hope this resort will be not famous.. because it's so amazing everything, so I wanna know here only me. Employees, room, swimming pool and food are super nice and great. I can't say how it is amazing to any words.

I really enjoyed my stay! The grounds were well kept and beautiful. Many different kinds of trees, shrubs, and flowering plants. I was very satisfied with the room. The bed was very comfortable and the room was as shown in the photos by the owner. Breakfast was phenomenal with many choices, fresh fruit, salad, Thai food, eggs, and crepes or roti. The staff were very nice people. And they tried their very best to make this day a positive experience!

Wonderful place! Very popular with Thai tourists so it books up quick. The rooms are enormous, clean, the maintenance is absolutley impeccable (rare for Thailand after COVID 19 destroyed tourism). The beds are very comfortable. The cottages are set along a lovley windy path through gardens and arround a lake. If you are elderly or disabled make sure you request one close to reception. I've spent 3 weeks all over Thailand, this is the best hotel so far.

Loved the place and wish we stayed longer. Just a full unwind and relax vibe. Wish i had more time in the hammock. The reception was so accommodating to us with our booking, i can't rave enough. Didn't dine here though , just preferred to get out.

The resort is located on side of a beautiful limestone cliff. The view from the hotel is just amazing. The staff here is very friendly and rooms are very comfortable. The only issue that you might face will be insect in evening so come prepared with insects repellent

More like a 4.5. The only reasons it's not 5 stars in my view is: 1. They close their kitchen at 5.30pm. If you want food after that time, order it or go into town. Not the most convenient. 2. Their Garden View room which doesn't face the pool is actually better than their "Coconut" room even though it's cheaper. It was huge and spacious. It has a front door and a back terrace, which overlooks a pond that has a lot of wildlife and is absolutely gorgeous. The coconut room only has a front door, and that's where the terrace is. It's the only big window and it lacks privacy also. I stayed in both, and don't recommend the coconut one. The shower was weak, the mosquito net had huge holes in it (although they did come and replace it, so credit to them for that), and they are basically charging a lot extra for a big bath tub which isn't even a jacuzzi. 3. They start using brooms and sweeping leaves pretty early and it got quite annoying, as it disturbs sleep. Other than that, it's one of the most beautiful resorts and best value for money I've had in Thailand so far, and I've stayed in many across the North as well as the South. It's pool area and general space between accommodations is so well kept and serene, with a fantastic view of the cliffs. Very relaxing and uplifting space. The staff are pretty polite and helpful, although their English isn't as good as other hotels I've been to. Can't complain too much though, their English is better than my Thai. Would absolutely recommend this place, but don't get fooled by the pricing. More expensive does not equal better

Kind of like a golf resort place. Not really my style, but it's not a bad place. Really comfortable room. Big bathtub. Nice shower. But getting around in a golf cart feels weird to me, and it's a walk to any shops or the beach. Also, the staff were pretty unfriendly. Both checking in and out felt unnecessarily drawn out and suspicious. Kind of an unwelcoming vibe.

Location: far from the beach but near nature and stone cliff, beautiful view. Services: Very helpful and friendly. A welcome handcrafted leaf printed in my name, that was very thoughtful! Facilities: Fully accommodated; spa, swimming pool and restaurant by the lake. Each type of rooms are far from each other and from the main entrance. The hotel provides a ride to get in and out of the room. Room type: By far this hotel is full of mother nature that allows you to relax and enjoy the scenery; however, the location is quite far from the beach and the main road, quite a walk.

Extraordinary experience in a very well kept resort. (Maybe a bit to well, since the removal of leaves with large brooms starts early in the morning and is quite loud). The employees are very friendly and helpful. The coconut cottage was equipped with a comfortable bed, sofa and table, large shower, modern bathtub and its own terrace. The surroundings and the pool area are very beatiful and full of trees and plants. The resort is located about 20 minutes (walking) from the beach and there is no shuttle service. However a taxi to the beach is only 100 baht. One of my best stays in Thailand so far!

  • 4/5 Bojan F. 2 years ago on Google
Welcome drink is blue colour tea that you will have at the breakfast like a normal thing. Taking a shower with poor water pressure. Charger constantly popping out of electric sockets. Only few cottages with good view, the rest are looking at parking lot or construction site. Location is ok and you need 57 Bahts for Grab taxi to city center or Ao Nang beach. Summa summarum, mediocrities at its best. I need to update my earlier post. After my last review manager of resort update my cottage because, I quote: "We want that our customers are very satisfied." We stayed there for 2 weeks and I am more than satisfied! Very careful staff with Boss lady :-) on top orchestrating every day to help you on every step that you take. My wife and I like all of them but Pom (Boss lady :-) ) stole our heart with her positivity, professionalism and wonderful personality.

100% exceeded our expectations! This resort is so beautiful, peaceful and tropical 🌴 The staff are so kind and helpful, the rooms are spectacular and the pool just WOW! Is probably 20 minutes walk to the ao nang beach and centre but the hotel offers a free shuttle to the ao nang beach. The breakfast area is stunning and there is a wide variation of yummy food. They also offer free water, tea, coffee, and snacks in the room and beach/pool towels. If you are staying in the area we 100% recommend this place. They also have laundry service which we didn’t use but just a note
