This place was banging. We just came for hot chocolates as we fancied a nice evening winter warmer and something sweet after our dinner. We stumbled upon this place in the main square and we’d already heard good things. The hot chocolate was delicious and just what we were looking for, and we ended up coming back the following night too. They specialise in all things chocolatey so would definitely recommend to those with a sweet tooth. They also have a really nice, cosy outdoor seating area with heaters that overlooks the main square.

Attempted to visit twice. Every time the same story. It was awful service, which has not happened for a long time anywhere else since the 1 star review. Spent 5 minutes waiting for someone to even acknowledge our presence at the designated sign that said wait to be seated. We have been repeatedly ignored by the staff, along with two other guests. At some point the whole staff was staring at the queue without doing anything. Terrible service. Once we sat down as it does seem to be the way, no one cleaned the table and we were sat for another 5 minutes without a single staff member approaching us.

From the outside, the place does not look inviting. The decor inside is great. Due to the high ceiling it is very noisy and it felt like a train station. Chocolate / cake / coffee were very good. The service was very nice. Coloring books and crayons for children were available.

I was surprised how busy it was and we had to wait a little while to be seated. The menu was extensive with more varieties of drinks that I could get my head around, but the coffee that I ordered was very good and the orange hot chocolate that my wife had was delicious. The cakes where a little under par, as was the service, but all in all the place had a nice buzz. There is an interesting history about the brand which I enjoyed reading.

Unreal spot! Their menu have variety and let me tell you, it is so hard to pick something. If I lived in Krakow I would be going there every day to try different things. Super cozy and authentic atmosphere, staff very professional, friendly and smiley. Everything exceeded my expectations! I would also recommend to book the table if you’re planning to visit in the evening. Luckily we had table booked, as there were loads of people queueing. Highly recommending A++++

Definitely overestimated and overpriced. Waiting to get a table by the sign, getting ignored all along. Got a table after 20 minutes and realized there are a few free tables, some dirty some clean. Few tables occupied most of them already served and even thought we waited half hour. Hot chocolate used to be thick and tasty few years back and now looks like milk with a little chocolate powder in It for only 30+ zł each. Coffees no comment ...not recommended

Came here looking for a dessert after going for a meal elsewhere. We had pancakes and a waffle, of which both came out cold and although they tasted quite nice, they weren't anything different to other dessert cafes in the area. The young lad who served us was really friendly however one of the ladies (think she was a manager as had a different uniform on) was quite miserable, might have just been having a bad day! Overall for a water, coke zero and two desserts we paid about 70zl altogether which is about £12-13. So can't complain really especially when in the UK you'd be paying that for one portion and a drink!

Central in town, lovely place to sit outdoors and enjoy a meal. The sandwich was unexpectedly made with a croissant as bread, tasty though. I would recomend the macaroons amd hot chocolate builds, great place for a date. The prices are to be expected due to being in a central location. Large menu catalogue and the staff speaks English.

Many reviewers were saying that the order was taking a long time to get prepared... That made us uncertain about making a visit since we were craving something sweet... We ended up going anyway and we were not dissapointed at all!!! Our order took 5 minutes to be ready and the chocolate was really tasty!! Overall a great experience to be definitely repeated!

Visited it 3 times: Tried Hot Chocolate, Average. Cheese Cake, Below Average. Coffee, Good. The location is perfect especially in the summer on the market square. Prices are not cheap, not expensive as well.

It's a paradise for sweets lovers! Amazing place in the very center. It has tables both inside and outside and a shop to buy special treats from Krakow, such as waffle cake :) make sure you try the desserts that the Cafe has to offer, you won't regret. It's a very busy place, so at times it's hard to get a seat! Oh, try chocolate pierogy :)

One of my favorite places to stop by in old town Krakow! Had air conditioning which was nice (and uncommon for many place), and a delicious assortment of sipping chocolates. Also have great chocolate candy items to buy to-go or as souvenirs!

The location is great, good spot to visit if you around St. Mary’s Basilica. We managed to get our seats facing the square and see people walking around. This is mainly cafe with huge selection of cakes, ice creams, hot chocolate and more. The atmosphere was really cosy and intimate. We sat under canopy which had special outdoor radiators keeping us warm. If you are town square you need to visit!

Really good hot chocolate and crepes with mascarpone and sour cherry jam. I recommend the place. Service was a bit slow but there are a lot of people visiting and only a few employees

What an amazing place. We came in to just get some coffee and where the choices amazing. What is better then coffee and chocolate. We ended up getting other chocolate on top of the coffee. Just becareful you will feel slow, tired but really happy after all that chocolate.

Very large restaurant, good to take a rest there, the ginger cheese cake was not that good. The pancakes and hot chocolate are okay. Although, expect a wait in rush hour for ~10 minutes.

I went there for hot chocolate. What I liked was you can specify what type of chocolate from the options, what type of milk from the options and sweetened or not. You can also add flavours to spice up your hot chocolate. It was really tasty. The price was not bad; 20-26 zł.

We loved the chocolate dishes and drinks, their chocolate cake is brilliant, layered in different chocolate consistencies and preserved fruits and light waffle texture, an absolute delight. We had ordered a plain crepe with fruits on the side for our little one. This was not in the menu as such but they were more than happy to adjust. The service is pleasant albeit a bit slow, but I assume they are just busy. They have lots of seating inside, outside you have to be a bit lucky. It's very chilled. They have good facilities for babies too. Overall been very happy to have visited. A must for chocolate lovers. They also do a few savory snacks I think.

One of my favorite places, all the cakes, chocolate and drinks are of h greatest taste and quality. Waiters are very nice and polite. We just waited a bit to long (usually we need to queue at the entrance but it does fast). I get people complaining of there being only two toilets for such a big area.

Lovely cafe with a big seating space in the back. The hot chocolates were exqusite - some of the best we have ever tasted. The chocolates themselves were not really our thing and it is a little pricey.

I would really recommend it. 👌 You can taste different kinds of chocolates but also some local sweets. There are sweet and sour options but also fruit based options. The coffee was also very decent and prices were very fair.

Very spacious with a room full of natural light. They have enormous variety of extras for coffe and hot chocolate.

Friendly staff, delicious deserts. The only bad thing about this place preparing time of orders is 25-40 minutes.

It’s been our tradition in many years to go back to the Wedel restaurant (it is a restaurant even though most of the menu is chocolate), and the food is good. As far as the service? In the past it’s been hit & miss. On our last visit it’s been very good. Love the chocolate truffles and I always purchase some on the way out.

Best chocolate ever. So delicious. The classic milk hot chocolate is out of this world. I discovered this place in Warsaw many years ago and came back recently in Krakow because it was stuck in my mind.

I usually drop by this café as much as possible when I visit the Rynek Głowny. I like that it has plenty of tables. I can easily dine in for my snack and coffee break. Ice cream might be costly compared to other lody shops, but for me it is fine especially the chocolate variants. They are so good and creamy. I have tried other items in their menu as well. Their sandwich is cold hehe! Not a fan of cold bread sandwich. Although, other dessert items like the tart and crepe are good. Chocolate drink! Must try! Definitely you need a chocolate drink when you order hehe! Servers are friendly just be polite and smile. They are busy , indeed and they deserve a breather as well.

The hot chocolate here is the best I’ve had, we ordered to take away. The hot chocolate isn’t served scalding - it was the perfect drinking temperature when we were served it. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered extra chocolate to take home. It’s the only place I’ve ever visited numerous times when we’ve been away.
