Nádhernou
krajinu
PP
Údolí
Zákolanského
potoka
jsem
navštívil
po
dlouhých
pěti
letech
a
dnes
mě
okouzlila
ještě
více,
než
poprvé.
Chráněné
území
zahrnuje
Okořský
rybník,
koryto
a
břehy
Zákolanského
a
Dobrovízského
potoka
v
úseku
od
Houstouně
k
silničnímu
mostu
jižně
od
Kovár.
Za
celou
dobu
jsem
tu
nepotkal
živou
duši
(sezóna
ještě
nezačala).
Chráněné
území
(v
nadmořské
výšce
236-348
metrů
a
rozloze
něco
přes
15
hektarů)
bylo
vyhlášeno
teprve
v
březnu
2017.
Přibližně
pět
hektarů
přírodní
památky
se
překrývá
se
stejnojmennou
evropsky
významnou
lokalitou
o
rozloze
deseti
hektarů.
Geologické
podloží
tvoří
břidlice
a
přeměněné
starohorní
horniny
nepředstavitelného
stáří
(2,5
mld
-
542
mld
let,
tehdy
se
teprve
vyvíjely
první
mnohobuněčné
organismy),
které
se
střídají
s
křídovými
písčitými
hlubokomořskými
usazeninami,
jílovci
a
opukami.
Předmětem
ochrany
je
především
biotop
s
populací
ohroženého
raka
kamenáče
a
kriticky
ohroženého
raka
říčního.
I
have
visited
the
beautiful
landscape
of
the
Zákolanský
Brook
Valley
natural
monument
after
five
long
years
and
today
it
has
enchanted
me
even
more
than
the
first
time.
The
protected
area
includes
the
Okořský
pond,
the
riverbed
and
banks
of
the
Zákolanský
and
Dobrovízský
brooks
in
the
stretch
from
Houstouň
village
to
the
road
bridge
south
of
Kováry.
I
have
not
met
a
living
soul
here
in
the
whole
time
(the
season
has
not
started
yet).
The
protected
area
(at
an
altitude
of
236-348
metres
and
an
area
of
just
over
15
hectares)
was
only
declared
in
March
2017.
Approximately
five
hectares
of
the
natural
monument
overlaps
with
the
European
site
of
the
same
name,
which
covers
an
area
of
ten
hectares.
The
geological
bedrock
consists
of
shales
and
altered
ancient
rocks
of
unimaginable
age
(2.5
billion
to
542
billion
years,
when
the
first
multicellular
organisms
were
just
evolving),
which
alternate
with
deep-sea
chalk
sandy
sediments,
claystones
and
opacities.
In
particular,
the
habitat
with
populations
of
the
endangered
stone
crayfish
and
the
critically
endangered
river
crayfish
is
subject
to
local
protection.
