Very good park in Taherpur.....the park is very big.....there is a school of municipality at the west side of this park.... actually the place is a play ground....the field is large very much.....there is no ride for kids...but the place is really very beautiful.....you can see here the beauty of nature.....you can see the greeneries everywhere....the fresh wind is blowing everywhere..... here you can breathe fresh oxygen..... every day many boys come here for playing....many matches are held here.....kids are playing football, cricket etc.....every morning many people come here for morning walk, jogging and exercise.....at the evening,the boys are playing,many people come for walk, spend the time..... very good place in this area.... good park for playing and spending the time.......there are held Durga Puja every year in this field.....many times I have went there....I like this place very much.

You can understand the beauty of the park. There is neither any ride nor any unatural beauty but a beauty of the nature itself ❤️

Large park, I have seen till now. There is people gather and enjoy their talk and the adda of various aged people is happening there.

Excellent place for durga puja...

Recently visited,watched 15th January program..Taherpur utsav o mela.. often went there in childhood days...

It's a good place for playing cricket and football and also morning walk and time pass with family

It is very spacious place,Now puja pandal are very large & beautifully made here with lots of scriptures ,we love the place,we visit here during every Durga Puja occasion, waiting for the next Durga puja

This park is the heart of Taherpur, 1KM west of Taherpur station. This park holds a lot of buildings like The high school, the municipality, kG school. It has plenty area to play cricket, football. At the season of festival durga puja, this ground holds 3 big pandals and thousands of people gather on the day of DASHAMI to enjoy the carnival.

This is a School ground, but Taherpur Notified Area maintained all needful matters. Big ocassion of Bengalis is Durga Puja, here two club are arranging every year.

I've been to this park a couple of times. It's a big park. Big enough to learn and practise 4-wheeler driving. PROS— 1. Area is big. 2. Location is apt 'cuz there's Municipality office, govt school, electronics showroom, eateries, bazaar, etc. nearby. 3. Seating facilities are provided. 4. Puja pandals, concerts, etc. are organised here. 5. In the evening, lots of vendors come to sell fast food, toys, etc. 6. It is popular among the locals. Crowd is high in the evening. 7. No gates at entrances. No restriction on entry. CONS— 1. Ground is not properly levelled. 2. Cleanliness can be improved. 3. No toilets. 4. Beware of dogs. VERDICT— Overall it's a nice place to enjoy one's leisure. Early morning may be the right time to practise exercise here. Before undertaking to do personal recreations (like driving, etc.) get permission from the Park club members.

Everything does not have to change over time. Some things are better off left alone, and this park is no exception. This park's Durga Puja celebration is the best. The mela held on Doshomi attracts people from all over Nadia.

Dushera gathering was huge, you can only see heads, still well managed.

I never visited this place before but in 2022 I saw Durga puja here, what an experience it was.
