I planned my weekend visit and trust me this is best place if you love Krishna. The temple will left you mesmerized and their campus is more beautiful than you ever imagine. You can take hotels inside the campus and can enjoy the place for the whole night

Good place....the place is spiritual....there you can spend your time peacefully. The place is very beautiful... atmosphere is very good...the area is very big. In the temple camera and mobile is not allowed and you can not enter in the temple wearing shoes.....There is a place where you can keep your shoes, mobiles and cameras safely....you need to give some charges for keeping shoes, mobiles and cameras. Water and foods are also available there....From the outside of temple, you can take many photos. Overall the place is very good...good place for family and friends. Hare Krishna 🙏

Great place for spending a peaceful time with your family and friends. The atmosphere is on another level, there are a lot things to spot. One can have his lunch at there also, so don't need to carry food, just bring your water bottle with you. Remember, there are some sopts where camera, mobile phone, and other electronic gadgets are restricted, so be careful about this and don't violate rules. Overall I had good experience. Now get ready your bag pack , tight your shoelaces and have a peaceful time.

First of all this place is absolutely very beautiful, you can feel a spiritual energy inside. Everything is built in international standards. It would be best if you stay here for a night, you can't take your belongings inside the main temple so leave those things in your hotel room so you can chill. Also rooms can be rented inside the temple area but you have to book them some days before because of high demands. Other hotels outside of the temple area can be found very easily but don't forget to negotiate 😉. One bad thing about the place is there is business in everything, literally everything. And the behaviour of most of the volunteers is very rude towards the pilgrims.

ISKCON Mayapur Chandrodaya Mandir or Temple of the Vedic Planetarium (TOVP) is the largest Hindu Temple in the world. The TOVP temple building itself is 300,000 square feet and is situated inside the ISKCON Mayapur campus. It is a multi-story temple consisting of several prayer halls, Prashad cooking rooms, conference rooms, a stall area, and the Vedic Planetarium to display the detailed model of the universe as described in the text of the Fifth Canto of the Srimad Bhagavatam. Moreover, the ambiance around the temple is very calm, natural, and, spiritual also. I recommend each Hindu to visit the ISKCON Mayapur and the TOVP to Darshan Radha Madhaba, pray, chant Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare, and watch the magnificent universe model described by Bhagaban Shri Krishna in the Srimad Bhagavatam.

It's like a city. There have so many buildings for staying different types of people. Like for foreigners has a separate society, then for family person has seperate building and society. Also for staying for one day u can stay Gada bhawan. There have lots of building for different purpose. Like study bhawan, upsana bhawan, etc.

Temple is too beautiful and everything is well maintained. Every programme runs very systematically. I loved visiting this temple. Very peaceful place away from city chaos. I had a wonderful time there with my family. It is really a holy place to spend quality time. But the only thing I dislike about the place is every book seller force to purchase books from them and they ask for donation every time you talk to them.

Loved this place. This is the best place if you love Krishna. The temple is under construction right now. But the plan of this temple was outstanding. The architectural design was too unique and the lord Radha Krishna 🙏. Also you can eat 40rupees per meal. First you have to cut a coupon before 1 pm.

This is my 1st time visit to Mayapur. It was 24th February, 2022. Truly a place. Mayapur, Iskcon Temple which is regarded as the Temple Of Vedic Planetarium built by ISKCON, the world's largest temple. There contains Srila Prabhupada's mandir which has a shrine surrounded by a museum depicting his life history. Also it contains Sri Chaitanyamath which is birth place of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. World's biggest trust and has its branch located all over world. Loved the spiritual energy present inside. Also liked their 'Prasad', it was too good. Would like to go back again and rejoice the memories again 🙏🏻👍🏼😊😍❤️💫💙🎉🌻🌷

Great experience. Loved the environment. One thing which should be implemented is submitting mobile phones, luggage & shoes etc at the main gate itself. These counters remained closed from 1pm to 4pm.

A Spiritual Oasis on the Ganges: My Experience at ISKCON Mayapur ISKCON Mayapur, nestled on the holy banks of the Ganges, is more than just a temple; it's a spiritual sanctuary. My recent visit was a tapestry woven with vibrant sights, sounds, and scents, leaving me feeling profoundly renewed. Architectural Splendor: The crown jewel is the Chandrodaya Mandir, a magnificent marble masterpiece towering over the campus. Its intricate carvings and gold-plated domes shimmer under the sun, radiating peace and grandeur. Soulful Devotion: The rhythmic chanting of Hare Krishna reverberates through the air, creating an atmosphere of pure devotion. Witnessing the fervor of devotees offering prayers and participating in pujas was truly heartwarming. A Feast for the Senses: Delicious prasadam, the sanctified vegetarian food, is a highlight. Each bite, bursting with fresh flavors and cooked with love, nourishes the body and soul. Beyond the Temple: Mayapur offers more than just spiritual immersion. Lush gardens invite quiet contemplation, the Goshala (cow sanctuary) fosters a connection with nature, and cultural programs showcase the rich heritage of Bengal. Is it for everyone? While deeply rooted in Krishna consciousness, Mayapur welcomes visitors of all faiths and backgrounds. Whether seeking spiritual solace, cultural exploration, or simply a serene escape, Mayapur has something to offer everyone. My takeaway: Leaving Mayapur, I carried a sense of inner peace and renewed faith. It's a place that stays with you long after you leave, a reminder of the simple joys of life and the beauty of connecting with something larger than ourselves.

Popular place among Hindus. Environment is good. Some cafeteria is there. Other then that "Bhog" is also available in verious range between 60 to 120, sitting arrangement is also organised. You don't need to hurry up or stand in the food line because there hall is so big and nearly 500 people can dine in at once.

After many years visited here for just a few hours solo and enjoyed the spiritual calmness, had Bhog prasad as lunch. The parking for the car is chargeable, not remembered the exact amount but it was around ₹150. Various types of Bhog are provided there. Make sure to come within 10 am to collect the Prasad coupon. Toto service available inside premises. The main Temple closes at 12 noon again and opens at 4pm. Hope it helps. Hare Krishna.

I love this place. It is my dream place to be there always and get lost in krishna consciousness. The world's biggest temple is going to be built, which was a dream project of beloved srila prabhupada. Srila prabhupada ki jai. It is surrounded by river. It has many places having sweet memories of Lord chaitanya mahaprabhu and his devotees. It is very good to see the places of devotees chanting holy name 24 hours. How there is namahatta where holy name of Lord is sold. There are many such stories to hear about Lord and devotees, and get lost in them. I visited many such places and heard all the stories, chanted Lord's holy name, danced, do kirtans, eat prasadam, boat kirtans. It was our daily schedule to rise up early in the morning, attend mangala aarti, chant our rounds, eat prasadam, visit holy places related to Lord chaitanya and feel mesmerised. Hari bol. Hare Krishna.I was there at the August occasion of gita jayanti, we recited the full bhagwad gita. And also attended a rath yatra. A must place to visit in our lifetime to have a taste of bhakti and continue it later to increase more and more

Love this great heritage place. A small prblm is that, you can't take any of your belongings to the temple. So, it's better to stay there for 1 night, then you can keep your personal belongings in the hotel room... and then can freely roam around the temple.

During my visit to Iskcon on Janmashtami, I had an extraordinary experience that left me enthralled. The entire day was filled with exploration, starting with visits to Iskcon museums and temples, immersing myself in the spiritual ambiance, and taking in the captivating Kirtans. One thing I'd recommend to everyone is trying the delectable eateries at Iskcon. The culinary delights were a highlight of my visit. However, the nearby hotels presented a stark contrast. Their horrible conditions and exorbitant prices, while somewhat expected during the festive season, were disappointing. The lack of hygiene, dirty rooms, and bedsheets left much to be desired. On a brighter note, I ventured to nearby attractions like Mayapur Ghat, enjoyed leisurely boat rides, and witnessed the majestic confluence of the Ganga and Jalangi rivers. The experience was awe-inspiring. Don't miss out on the dairy products here; they are truly exceptional. The combination of dahi and misti was a delightful treat. The boat ride was a nostalgic journey, evoking a deep connection to the rivers. It offered a unique opportunity to witness the sacred meeting point of the Ganga and Jalangi rivers, making the trip truly memorable.

The Sri Mayapur Chandrodaya Temple is situated in Mayapur, close to Nabadwip Dham, on the banks of the Ganga River, where it meets the river Jalangi. Reaching approximately 113 metres in height, the Mayapur Chandrodaya Temple is the biggest ISKCON temple and the world's largest religious monument. Pancha Tatwa, Lord Nirsingha Dev, Sri Prabhupada, Radha-madhav, and the gopis are among the magnificent deities on display within. Location- nearly 130km from kolkata.

The Temple of Vedic Planetarium, ISKCON Mayapur, still under construction is estimated to be completed in 2024. When completed, it will be the world's largest and tallest Hindu temples in the world. Spread across 22 acres of land, the main temple hall floor measures 1L Sq. Feet and will have a massive chandelier replicating the Universe we live in along with its 14 Planetary systems as described in Srimad Bhagavatam hanging from the ceiling. A dream come true project of Srila Prabhupada is the much awaited structure for all the Vaishnavas and the disciples of Srila Prabhupada all over the world. Can't wait for 2024 to visit the remarkable structure and the beautiful deities of Sri Radha Madhava. HARE KRISHNA

TOVP or The Temple of Vedic Planetarium which is under construction, will be the largest Hindu Temple in the world once it is totally completed.Because Mayapur is the Headquarter of both ISKCON and Gaudiya Vaishnavism,so it had to be built here only.American Company Ford is carrying almost all the expanses of this Temple and the rest amount is collected from Donation. When last time i went to Mayapur, construction work had just begun. But Now,after the primary inauguration,Temple has taken its grand form. There is a Huge Central hall where devotees can freely dance during arati, separate floor for Radha Madhavas,Panchatatvas and Narasimha Bhagwan. If You visit the temple, you'll surely enjoy a heavenly experience. Jai Radha Madhava! Jai Panchatatva! Jai Narasimha! Jai Prabhupada!

It's very very very very very far away from Kolkata airport. The new dome building is still under construction and the main temple thats the abode of Radha Madhava is still functional. There are distinct bhavans and halls and houses for lodging and other varied purpose. A general ashram setup is available too. Slippers bag and phones are supposed to be handed over at the counter. There's a restaurant - Govinda restaurants and small shops and marts for collecting goodies. Prasadam centre is available and Prasad is coupon based. I went by bus 3842 WBSTC from Esplanade counter behind the tram line which is outside the main bus counter of NBSTC. Timing is from 6:15 am and the route is hua dum dum airport. Return bus is from the premises of Mayapur iskcon from Vamshi bhavan

The Temple of the Vedic Planetarium (TOVP) in Mayapur, India, is a monumental project initiated by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). It serves as both a spiritual and cultural center. While I don't have access to specific reviews, the TOVP is generally praised for its architectural grandeur, showcasing a blend of traditional Indian and modern styles. It's dedicated to spreading the teachings of Bhakti yoga and promoting Vedic culture. Visitors often find the temple's art, exhibitions, and spiritual atmosphere to be profoundly inspiring. If you're planning a visit, it's recommended to check recent reviews for the most up-to-date information and experiences.

The world's largest temple is under construction with 10 lakhs capacity. The temple has the Deities of Pancha Tattva, Radha Madhav, ashta sakhis and Narasimha dev in a temporary temple and the main temple is under construction. The founder acharya of ISKCON His Divine Grace A.C Bhakthi Vedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada Pushpa Samadhi Mandir is also within the surroundings of the temple with a museum and water fountain. The temple premises also have planetarium with shows, fast food, chats and Govindas resturant which provides all kinds of delicacy. The temple manages the travels, accommodation and guides for site seeing with minimal charges. The temple is a wholesome point for a trip. To get blissed and mercy of the Lord Chaitanya.
